The return is always greater. Giving fills us with joy and God is pleased with our giving when we do it unto him . Our giving is visible and inspire others. It comes back in multiform.
Is better to obey God's word than man. Often times we may have to evaluate if moms, or siblings or friends guidance is good according to God's counsel. Yes respect our love ones but choose to do it God's way.
