Regular Guys Random Things Podcast
In this weeks episode we are still practicing social distancing. We get together remotely and talking about staying at home.
We finally get together to record a podcast. Now don't you worry the RGRT boys are still following the 6ft social distancing rule. It is a little harder now to record because we are really in different locations. Each of us are now working from home and trying to stay safe. This episode touches on our experience with the Covid-19 quarantine and then the earthquake that rocked our group in the middle of trying to stay safe. We wish you all the best and hope you stay safe too.
Hey this is late and we don't have show notes. We have been trying to get by with all that is happening. Enjoy this episode and hopefully we will be back on schedule soon.
Well the title should tell you everything Dustin is ornery mostly because of Jon and then we end up talking about a bunch of stupid stuff from our past. Want to take a trip down cell phone lane? Well buckle up kids because you might just get your fill of total random BS.
The guys return this week for another episode. This week Jon finally accomplishes a goal he has been working on for 5 years, Dustin figures out how to get more fishing in, and Scott looks forward to eating the fruit of Dustin's labors. This is a quick and dirty episode to end the year. With the Christmas season, end of year vacations, and unexpected family obligations we had been struggling to find time to record. We hope this shorter than normal episode will get you by until the start of the new year. Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
In this week's episode the temperature is set to high as the guys recap the hot wing challenge. For Scott and Jon there was pain, sleepless nights, puking and even as the sauce was named an enema. This all happens while Dustin sleeps like a baby with no discomfort.
The guys are back with another drive through Randomurbia. They start with a discussion about all things (well, a couple things) hot. Who will and who won't accept the wing challenge? It's another typically random week in the lives of our heroes.
In this week's episode we talk about the birth of the podcast, sushi, chili, scary movies, sports and wasabi peas. It doesn't get any more random.
This week we talk about our weekly adventures. Scott and Dustin spent the week in Moab and Jon holds down the fort. We also talked about Halloween since it was the day we recorded.
Scott and Dustin go at it alone while Jon is MIA. Sorry for missing a week this is a makeup episode sorry it is late.

Aloha! The guys are back after their summer vacation break. Jon and Scott didn't do anything even remotely interesting, but Dustin made up for it. The guys are back after taking an unscheduled break. We had work, life, and vacations get in the way of our weekly journey to Randomland. The guys are back fresh from vacation (well 2 of them) and ready for random. Scott and Dustin talk about what they did on vacation. Jon tells us about his mountain adventures. The whole show devolves into a lot of discussion about absolutely nothing, but then why should this week's episode be any different that all the other episodes.
The guys are ready to finish their excellent adventure this week. Last week they joined Bill and Ted on their travels through time. They've been to the past and the future, but can they now round up everyone in the present in time to pass their history class? Or does Ted get shipped off to Alaska to join a military academy? Jon is looking for a new job and explains why his chin is so cold. Scott takes on a new role in the sporting world. Dustin drinks a Diet Coke. Due to technical difficulties, they lose the best 15 minutes of content that they have ever done. You'll just have to take their words for that and imagine the greatness you missed. It's an event filled episode.
They guys are back this week with a report from their latest activity. We head to Jon's favorite restaurant in the world for some good grub. We move onto what we did the past week and prove once again that Scott is old. Dustin shares with us some of the new ways that people are trying to part him from his money.
They guys this week talk about the earth. Is it round? Is it flat? Is it square? In the end, we decide we all live on a large dungeon and dragon 20 sided dice.
So there was a mix up in the audio and in the schedule and in posting on time. Let's just say this episode is a mess, we really slack at posting and topics. We will be better.
In this episode, we discuss the epic battle of the pronunciation of GIF. Since these 3 well-seasoned computer geeks know the truth we will tell you how it is, and lets just say it isn't peanut butter.
They guys are celebrating. They have fireworks and a parade in the middle of a circus. Well, it seems like it sometimes. Really they just had a live video stream for their 50th episode. Seems like just yesterday they got this thing going. Podcasts grow up so fast. They go over some of their highlights for the past episodes. We have audience participation. It's a real party. Join us in our celebration!
The guys get together for more random discussion. They were supposed to talk about a movie that they were all going to watch but two of them are totally lame and didn't do their homework. So, once again, they are winging it. For Scott, he finally gets the straw that breaks the old camel's back and has to come to grip with reality. Jon leads an exciting life that leaves us thrilled with his exploits. And Dustin decides to go into the bike breeding business once his worm farming business goes under. Looks like another week in Randomland for the guys.
The guys are back this week with another trip down Random Lane. And when we say random, we mean it this time. It's been a crazy week for all of them and they are totally unprepared for this week's episode. So, they do what they do best and just go totally random. Tune in to see what rabbit holes they wander down without having any topic to semi-focus them. This should be interesting!

Get your new year off to a random start with the guys.
The guys are back for the last episode of 2018 and they send it off with a bang of randomness. Jon has a new toy that he is proud of. The topic turns to food and they head down that rabbit hole. The discussion finally ends up on the topic they meant to discuss: Christmas. But they aren't left with much time to discuss it. They talk about a few of their favorite things (got you to think of the song). The guys want to wish you a merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year! We'll see you again in 2019!
The guys get together for another week of randomness. Jon uses his mad building skills to hang Christmas lights on his house. Dustin and Scott have busy but mostly boring weeks. The topic of talents comes up and they talk about some of their talents. The topic turns from talents they think they have to talents they wish they had. There's also some philosophical discussion about how much of a talent is hard work. But not too much.
The guys are all back together for the first time in what seems like years. They waste little time in getting back into their random routine. The topics range from ballet to fish tanks to medical discussions to the nature of sports rivalries. They end with a discussion about the wonderful world of Christmas lighting. It's definitely a random show this time around for the guys reunion episode.
