I Finally Saw Gary Vee!

Play Episode Listen Later Nov 29, 2018 5:46

Longer audio but please listen :) I finally got to see Gary Vee yesterday! He is a huge role model of mine and it was a very surreal moment for me. I’ve watched so many videos of him that it was hard to believe I was seeing him in real life. The other person I saw who I had no idea would make me care was Tony Robbins. Now I know that Tony Robbins is a legend, but I never knew why. He spoke for 5 hours doing different types of exercises to get us into a different mindset. I’m by no means a ra ra person but I decided to go all in with everything he was doing. He really hit on a lot of points I’ve been working on with my personal development. Some of it was, “What is fulfillment in my life? How do I truly have appreciation?”. It was a very powerful experience but also very confusing. Some people asked if I was fired up and I truly am not. I have still a lot of self-development to go through and it is scary and not easy. So, I would say I’m more aware of my life but still a lot to come. I want to know, have you seen Tony Robbins before and if so, what was your experience?

How Will You Stand Out When The Market Cools Off?

The Real Estate market is starting to cool off and I have a feeling that Realtors are going to need to differentiate themselves to beat out their competition. Now that homes aren’t selling on day one with 6 offers Realtors will need to do everything they can to get a home sold. The Realtors that increase their marketing budget will sell their homes faster and get more clients. Using 3D tours, drone shots, and HDR photos will separate you and get you those listings. Do you think that now that the market is not as hot, you should increase your marketing budget on your listings?

What does an emotional speech look like?

Play Episode Listen Later Nov 2, 2018 5:13

I've watched a lot of people give speeches recently about the tragedies that happen in the world. It is very confusing to me sometimes because the speeches are very "speech like" and not emotional. Why doesn't someone sound sad when talking about a sad topic. A lot of these speeches are good speeches but it feels like there is no emotion. I want to know what makes a good speech and how do people put that emotion into it. What do you do to put emotion into a speech? How do you sound different than just your average speech?

How Should I Feel About Pittsburgh?

Play Episode Listen Later Nov 2, 2018 3:56

This week has felt very weird with everything that happened in Pittsburgh. It was the largest murder of Jews in American history and I'm very lost. It is so scary to me to think that there are people out there that hate us, or even just me, for no true reason. I feel scared but at the same time I know I'm living in a great time where I can be Jewish and not be treated horrid. The hardest part is the feeling of sadness for the families affected by everything. I am so happy that our communities around the world have joined together in support and hope we make a difference in the near future.

I SHAVED MY HEAD!

Play Episode Listen Later Oct 30, 2018 4:16

YES! I SHAVED MY HEAD! Why did I do it? It started this summer when I realized I have never shaved my head. It was something so simple but yet so terrifying for me. I decided I was going to do it for a Halloween costume. Unfortunately the costume didn’t arrive so I was left with a choice, should I shave or not? I realized I was so afraid that I had to push myself to shave it. If this little thing that could be reversed scared me so much I had to face my fears. I felt if I let this little thing stop me then what else would I be afraid of that would stop me in business. I do admit I was absolutely terrified before I shaved. During and after I felt so liberated. I felt free and able to progress in life. Everyone has fears but if you do not look at them square in the face and say “Fuck it!” and keep moving forward then you’ll never be better. I strive to be a better Scott everyday and this is just one step towards that. Fear is always there but it is only temporary and we can beat it! Anyone else want to join the trend?

Ran out of time last week to post this but I absolutely love this video! I had an amazing week doing drone, 3D tours, and creative work! It was very scary doing some of the drone work since you never know how the shoot is going to be. It all turned out great and I'm very happy with it! The other part of this video is talking about what content would you like? What is beneficial for me to show and teach you and create for you. I can do a lot of things but would love your feedback!

Didn’t post at all this week and reason being is I got to spend a lot of time with family. My Aunt and uncle came into town so I got to spend time with them, my parents, and my sister and her BF. It was a ton of fun. At the same time I was very busy with work. I recently figured out how to do still photos on my camera which is allowing me to expand my offerings to customers. It is a bit scary but I’m glad I learned it. I will not openly offer it yet since it is not as profitable but I can add it with my tours if needed. Since I’ve been gone for so long tell me the best part of your week and what you are looking forward to this coming week! :)

Yesterday did not get a chance to make a video because I was out doing realtor things. I had an orientation in the morning and then saw some homes later in the day. Forgot to mention in the video my dad and I saw some homes together and are starting to figure out what homes we want to look for. The main part of the video today is about being imperfect and owning it. I watch a documentary of Shawn Mendes and he said the most amazing quote ever! "Not every performance can be perfect, and the reason people love it is because it's me not because I’m perfect." This rung so true to me of accepting your imperfections and loving the you that you are. People work with me and enjoy me because I am myself not because I’m perfect. The kid is 19 and figured out what I’ve been working on for over 26 years. I want to know what makes you imperfect and awesome?!

Putting Out The Right Energy

I had a fantastic weekend this week and realized why. I put the right energy for a good time out into the world and it came back with a great time. My video last week talked about faking it till you make it and is that lying to yourself. I realize now that it is not lying because if my goal is to be happy and successful my actions and energy need to match that no matter what. Yes I might be pushing myself to change but it is all in the right direction to make myself fit into my goal. If you put the proper energy out there then you will succeed in whatever you are doing.

I find that a lot of people, including myself, have many aspirations and desires in life but even when we know what they are we do not do anything to get to those goals. If you know you want to have extra money to buy a home in the future why don't you do everything to get that money to buy that home? What about the people who know they will have school debt? Why not start a side job to lessen your debt in the end. Not saying go crazy and not do what you love but why not try. What goals do you have that you haven't moved forward on? What would get you started?

Reviews: How to utilize them for you business

Play Episode Listen Later Sep 20, 2018 4:30

Reviews are fantastic for your business to allow customers to see how awesome you are before they select you. To get reviews you should call or email your existing customers and ask for a review. On your email, you should ask for an honest review and put exactly where you want the reviews. I recommend putting the links to Yelp, Google, and Facebook for your business so that customers do not have to work hard to find the place to review you. Don't make them do work. If they ask they can copy the same review to all 3 places since different customers will appear at each site. Once you have a review, respond to it whether it is good or bad. This shows potential customers that you are active and work with your customers. Thank them for the review! If it is a negative review, explain what really happened so hopefully the person who reads it sees the true story.
