Today I had the privilege of having Cade Powell, the Director of S&C at Lubbock Christian University. We talk about his route into S&C, how he managed being a dad, husband, and S&C coach during COVID, and how he implements his faith while being an S&C coach.
Today I had the privilege of talking to Brady Roper a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach from Midland, Texas. He is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University. He has made stops at Driveline Baseball facility as a trainee and was also an intern at TCU under Zach Dechant.
Today I had the privilege of having Coach Walker, the Head S&C coach for Men's Basketball at The University of Texas at Arlington for today's episode. We talked about his journey into S&C and how connections are so important, how to develop a coaching philosophy, how athletes are doing mentally during these times, and I ask Coach Walker how I can better relate to the African-American athletes that I coach especially during these times .
