It's easy to talk about how God loves the world; that can be abstract and impersonal. But to talk about how God loves me? That can only ever be lived and personal. Archie and Becca reflect on Galatians 2:20 and this past week's Stumbling through Scripture post (found here), asking themselves how they would complete the sentence "the Son of God, who..." - comparing their answers with Paul's, and discussing what this could all mean for Christians today. This week, Archie and Becca look at the story of Tamar and Judah in Genesis 38:1-30. They discuss its important position at the start of Genesis's Joseph narrative, explore some of the passage's curious and confusing elements, and end up in Matthew 1:3 and Jesus's genealogy.
