CJ wants to talk about music and put out good vibes. That's it. On each episode of The Morgan After, CJ is joined by a guest who has picked out an album they like from the previous 12 months. The two then discuss the album and whatever else comes up!
CJ and Jon were voted “best friends” by the 2004 senior class of North Penn Senior High School. Since then, the two have worked to overturn this controversial decision. They remain convinced that this was a crooked election with no basis in actual reality. To clarify, CJ totally considers Jon his best friend but it has been made very apparent that this feeling is not shared. Despite CJ's efforts over the last 20 years, Jon remains steadfast in his lukewarm vibe on CJ and believes that “CJ is totally fine but tries a little too hard. He needs everyone to like him and it's tiring.” When CJ was asked about this he stated “Wrong. You're just dumb and wrong”. Listen to the two talk about Jon's ACTUAL GOLD MEDAL, playing bass in Cold Climb It, and the new album from Teenage Wrist, Chrome Neon Jesus!
Sean Huber spent much of his young adulthood up to this point strapped to the rocket ship known as Modern Baseball. He drummed as they took over the world. Now, with Mobo's current hiatus, Sean has time to focus on some other dope stuff like his wife, dog, career, and his own band, Steady Hands. He also had time to come over and talk to CJ about all of it! CJ and Sean discuss the new Smoking Popes' album, Into The Agony.
Mark Schaffer and I have been friends for over 15 years. The root of that friendship has always been music. Watching it, listening to it, making it, and most frequently, talking about it. I hope to have Mark as a frequent part of the show and member of the Morgan After family soooooo check it out! Andy Molholt is in no less than 10 bands/projects at a given moment. Still, he stopped by to talk about everything...except the time Speedy Ortiz opened for the Foo Fighters and Fenway Park? Why would I ever think to ask about something like that on a music podcast?
Taylor Madison is a true renaissance man. He is a musician, the host of his own podcast, an illustrator, a graphic designer, and a good friend. In episode one, Taylor joins The Morgan After to talk about all of those things, the band The Berries, and more!
