A couple episodes we heard some wisdom coming from our 10th graders, this time listen in on some thoughts about relationships, expectations at home from two 9th Graders!! But before all that, we talk about Takis in your Sandwich and other random food pairings!

This episode we sit with Elijah and talk about life as a person of mixed heritage. All the advantages and what it feels like when you realize you are not as connected to all your roots as you are with others. A beautiful conversation about culture, family, and all the opportunities to learn and enjoy our histories!

Meet one of our 11th Grade Student Leaders, Janessa! She talks about being a lifelong HTH student and starting a new club!! The Mixed Kids Club that has a mission is to cultivate an environment to provide different perspectives of the world. Members will learn about other people’s experiences, embrace different backgrounds and cultures, and the significance of race. We will encourage team building and develop an overall fun, meaningful, and informative setting.
