Raj was triggered by Beyoncé slander on TikTok, where a brown male said Queen B should stay in her lane and go back to making R'n'B. So this is a Cowboy Carter special. Raj takes it back to the origin story of the album, brown on brown crime, why genres are a funny little concept and that got her thinking... How do you respond when people tell you to stay in your lane? What are the stereotypes or labels we happily wear vs the ones we feel restricted by? What genres have people put us in? And what happens when we consume genres that are unexpected? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

In this episode of Tech Talks Daily, I caught up with Raj Samani, Chief Scientist at Rapid7, to unpack the rapidly evolving world of ransomware. Raj has been on the front lines of cybercrime response for years and has seen firsthand how these attacks have professionalized. Gone are the days of casual ransomware notes asking for a few hundred dollars. Today, these groups operate like fully formed businesses with help desks, R&D teams, and carefully designed extortion models. We talked about how ransomware has become a reputational risk issue more than just a technical one. Raj shared that CEOs are often more concerned about data being exfiltrated and leaked to the press than they are about systems being locked down. It's no longer just about recovering files. It's about trust, public perception, and the long tail of brand damage. One of the most revealing parts of our discussion was how these attacks typically unfold. Raj walked me through real-world scenarios where criminals have remained inside networks for months, even years, before launching their final payload. He also described how careful planning, coordinated strike days, and threat intelligence can disrupt an attacker's kill chain before irreversible damage is done. We explored the uncomfortable truth that many organizations still fall victim to basic attacks because of poor cyber hygiene. While the threat landscape is becoming more sophisticated with the use of zero-day vulnerabilities and social engineering, many breaches still happen through exposed RDP ports or convincing phishing attempts. Raj also offered candid insights into the ethics and complexities of ransomware negotiations, why outright banning payments may backfire, and what companies should do in the first few hours after discovering they've been hit. He made it clear that cybersecurity is no longer just an IT issue. It affects everything from supply chains to public services and daily life. Is your organization prepared for the moment when ransomware moves from IT's concern to the boardroom's crisis?

ITPM Flash provides insight into what professional traders are thinking about in the markets RIGHT NOW! In this episode, Raj Malhotra explains why the recent rally in the S&P 500 could still have legs, potentially reaching 7100+ by next May if history repeats. But the key, he argues, is breadth: a broad-based rally across sectors, not just large-cap tech. Raj highlights the RSP equal-weight ETF as the signal to watch and spotlights Deckers Outdoor (DECK)—parent of HOKA, UGG, and Teva—as a beaten-down small/mid-cap with strong fundamentals, margin expansion, and international growth. He outlines a calendar spread trade with asymmetric upside if DECK rallies as the market broadens.

The Honey Project The Honey Project originally began as an educational effort to showcase modern farming and broaden community and cultural perspectives for our fellow students – but quickly became much more. We discovered an untapped opportunity to partner with AgroVision, a local blueberry farm that relied on bees for pollination. This inspired us to invest in our own bee boxes that would support the farm's needs, with proceeds from honey sales going toward supporting local schools and educational initiatives. We work to provide support both abroad and at home, with additional efforts to re-build the ecological and educational stability following the tragic 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. We are proud to participate in re-wilding initiatives, which aim to restore equatorial biomes lost to agricultural expansion and natural disasters, while helping replenish bee populations, vital for sustaining life on our planet. https://www.thehoneyproject.org The Honey Project on Instagram About Dr. Raj Dr Raj is a quadruple board certified physician and associate professor at the University of Southern California. They then compare and contrast Saiyyaraa to Kaho Na Pyar Hai and realize they are getting old and therefore do not get the hype but also realizing in the process that India has only one rockstar which is Modi Ji. The struggle for India never truly stopped during the 1930s, although the resistance to the British Raj was hardly ever as straight-forward as it is portrayed in the West. Bouts of open protests and resistance marked the first half of the decade, but the second half saw the opening up of political offices across the country. This result in a rush for power that stabilized the Raj, but only just. Hi, I'm John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you're listening to Share Life Today. Today, I want to share with you an incredible story from New Zealand! Raj and Joyce unexpectedly encountered two high school students at a local mall. After striking up a conversation, they asked them spiritual questions, and both girls accepted Jesus after hearing the Gospel! And as the conversation continued, they discovered that the girls were struggling and homeless. They had run away from their homes, and right before Raj and Joyce had arrived, they had been praying for help. They felt compelled to offer them not only spiritual guidance but also a place to stay for the night and a warm meal. Well, that same night, Raj conveyed the importance of repentance from sin as well as the story of the prodigal son. The girls felt both convicted and contacted their parents to tell them they were safe. The next day, they were joyfully reunited. Raj and Joyce praised God for this picture of redemption and reconciliation through the Gospel. Learn how you too can share by visiting sharelife.today.
