In today's episode of the Worth Living Life... I share a question that was raised during the discussion after today's live training in the 5 Days to Purpose challenge. In this episode, I dive a little deeper into that, and share my take... Tune in to hear the rest!
In today's episode, I continue sharing a peek behind the scenes of the 5 Days to Purpose challenge. In today's episode, youth minister Jeff Harding from Dallas, Texas share his story - and insights learned along the way - going from a kid with self image issues, to a multiple-degreed youth minister who has had the opportunity to work with a myriad of churches, camps, and retreats of all sizes over the last sixteen years. A few highlights from the interview: - The examples and experiences that lead him into youth ministry - The crucial role mentors played in his life, and how to find one... - Sharing the Gospel with people who look like they have it all together - A conversation with 18-year-old Jeff - "Cancel Culture": What it is and how it affects us right now... I truly enjoyed recording this interview, and hope you pick up some of the nuggets that Jeff was putting down. To connect with Jeff, check out his website: https://jeffdharding.com/

Welcome to today's episode of the Worth Living Life! There is some exciting things coming together behind the scenes! But, I wanted to take a moment and share an update. A couple of weeks ago, I deleted all social media apps off of my phone, and started using a "lockbox" for it every night. The results have been pretty cool! Listen in to hear my thoughts... (Lockbox mentioned: https://www.thekitchensafe.com/)
When I was younger, I often asked myself this question. I had dreams of being used by God for great things, but I would think "I've messed up so many times, how could God Love someone like me?" With all the focus I have been putting on getting up off the couch and pursuing God's purpose for our lives, I wanted to be clear: God's Love for us is NOT based on our performance for him. According to the Bible, God loved us before we ever considered loving him. Yes, action is important, but let's keep it in perspective!
