There's a lot of misinformation we consume about contractors versus employees in our businesses. Just because someone is a contractor and not a full-time employee doesn't mean they can steamroll your boundaries. You're allowed to have expectations for contractors to follow, but too often, business owners are getting trampled on, leaving them resentful of the people who work for them. Learn about some of the myths we believe about contractors versus employees, and how your boundaries as their boss might be too loose. I'm sharing the duty you have to uphold as CEO, why not setting boundaries creates a recipe for disaster, and how to have a more enjoyable experience of and with your staff. Dare To Be Different: How To Overcome Limiting Beliefs & Achieve Your Goals Welcome to the latest episode of the Atomic Business Coaching Podcast! Join Adam and Tom as they challenge their listeners to "dare to be different." In this episode, they discuss how business owners must achieve their goals by having the courage to try different things, differentiating themselves from the competition, and rewriting the rule book. Tom highlights the limiting beliefs that often hinder productivity and success in the coaching arena. He specifically mentions the "imposter syndrome" frequently experienced by solopreneurs and entrepreneurs, attributing it to fear and anxiety. Adam stresses the importance of setting expectations to excel in a specific field. He suggests that accomplishing this requires hard work, a targeted plan, and the willingness to go against societal norms. Tom differentiates between the concept of limiting beliefs and unrealistic expectations, emphasizing that while reality does prevent certain opportunities, limiting beliefs restrict and paralyze individuals from taking any action. Adam further expands this discussion by stating that most of the societal rules are set to keep individuals in line and that success requires breaking these rules and rewriting them. Tom cites differences between him and Adam as a factor that makes their business partnership successful. Finally, Adam and Tom encourage listeners to self-reflect on their beliefs yearly. They emphasize the need for alignment with goals and the willingness to rewrite any limiting beliefs that are discovered. Hey there! Today's podcast episode is like that cozy chat you'd have with a good friend while wrapped up in a comfy blanket, sipping your favorite tea. Why? Well, because I'm going to share my raw and unfiltered experiences with you as I dive into the world of menopause and perimenopause. Now, here's the deal: I'm not a doctor, a therapist, or any kind of medical pro. Nope, I'm just a regular person like you. But you know what I can do? I can talk about it in a way that makes sense, especially when those pesky menopause brain fog moments hit. Menopause and perimenopause aren't talked about nearly enough, but that's changing, and I'm here to tell you why. We Gen Xers, like myself, weren't exactly handed a manual for this stuff. But now, we're all about sharing what we know and keeping it real. No sugarcoating here. Oh, and a funny side note: if you're in the perimenopause/menopause club, you'll relate to how objects seem to disappear into thin air. We'll explore the joys (itchy ears, anyone?) and not-so-great stuff like brain fog. But here's the thing: with knowledge, even the not-so-great stuff becomes manageable. Embrace the emotional clarity that comes with this journey. It can be a catalyst for open communication and empathy in your relationships. Talk to your loved ones, friends, and partners about what's going on inside your body and mind. It's a game-changer. Throughout this episode, I'll share some practical tips, including advocating for your health and practicing self-care. I've also discovered some supplements that helped me along the way, but remember, I'm not a doctor, so consult a healthcare professional. Join me on this adventure as we navigate the waves of menopause, discovering self-love, authenticity, and a renewed sense of self. You're not alone, my friends, and this journey is a beautiful opportunity for growth and self-discovery. Let's ride the menopause wave together! (These are not affiliate links. I'm sharing because they work, and I want to help.
There are some opportunities that you just have that feeling about. I need to do this. Now, there are always reasons to say no or put things off. Saying yes might be messy and chaotic. But it also may be just the right thing for you, your business, your clients, and collaboration partners. In this episode we explore When to say YES to opportunity What to consider when you're seizing an opportunity Normalizing that things will go wrong and how to roll with it Why doing it messy is the right move every time (over no movement at all)

Price Yourself Right: How To Get Paid What You Deserve In this episode, Adam and Tom discuss the importance of appropriately and confidently charging for services and products. They touched upon various aspects, including the mindset around pricing, the significance of confidence and clarity, and the value of delivery. Tom initiates the conversation by addressing a common struggle many individuals face – the difficulty in asking for fair compensation due to a lack of self-confidence and misconceptions about the market. Adam highlights that hesitation to request appropriate prices often stems from a lack of confidence, experience, or misconceptions about the market and their offerings. He emphasizes that having confidence and clarity can lead to better pricing decisions. The discussion delves further into the mindset of individuals who have a negative relationship with money, possibly stemming from their upbringing. They emphasize the importance of a mindset shift, understanding that money is an exchange of energy for time, effort, or expertise. Adam shares the story of Alex Hormozi as a powerful illustration that one should continue increasing prices until reaching a point of refusal, indicating the right market price. Adam concludes by asserting that a company's length of operation should not determine pricing. Instead, the depth of expertise and value brought to the business should be the primary consideration. Lately it's become abundantly clear that I am here to speak to other creative souls and entrepreneurial spirits. The artists, the innovators, the inventors. The healers and mystics and guides. I realized this when I started accepting these parts of myself and their shadows. When I finally started wondering if maybe I don't actually have to fix or change anything about myself. That all the parts of me, including the darker or less desirable parts, the parts I've fought to keep hidden, are welcome in my life. And I can choose when & how to let them feel seen and expressed, instead of having them overtake my life completely. In this episode, I'm breaking down exactly what I mean. What quirks and superpowers as well as shadows that we, as creative souls, tend to share. How those parts of you can be a crux or a strength, and it's is entirely up to you which. I'm going to provide a perspective shift, as well as some homework to help you integrate these parts of yourself so that you can start coming out of hiding and shine as bright as you know with every cell you were meant to. ______ To apply to work with me, send me a note on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/krystalewoods/ For your free guided meditation, DM me the word "vision."

Hello there, I hope this episode causes you to think and assess your life. I delve into the distinction between living a full life and merely living a filled life. I share some of my self-discovery and reflection, inviting you to explore your own lives through a deeper lens. We are in this together! Especially in our fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in busyness, but it challenges us to consider whether our lives truly feel full of meaning, purpose, and joy or are merely filled with endless ta-da lists and obligations. Through personal anecdotes and insights gained from years of coaching and introspection, I'll encourage you to embrace the beauty of both sides—living a full life and experiencing a filled life. It's important to acknowledge the challenge of finding space for self-reflection and personal growth in a world that seems to move ever-increasingly fast. Emphasizes the importance of celebrating even the smallest achievements and moments in life (Hello, laundry being put away; I'm talking to you!), recognizing that they contribute to the richness of our experiences. Join me in this engaging exploration of what it truly means to live a full life and discover how to prioritize authenticity and meaning in your own journey. ---
