Passage: Philippians 1:20Can you practice what you preach? Do you live the way you speak? Do you do the things you tell others they should do? I know one person who did. It was the apostle Paul. He lived in such a way that he exemplified what he actually taught others. He wrote to Timothy and he said that all who live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. And then he suffered persecution. And when he suffered persecution, guess what? He didn't give up. He didn't walk away from Christ. He didn't say, I quit. A matter of fact, he said in Philippians chapter one verse 20--he says, "but with all boldness as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death." Is it true about you that you practice what you preach? I certainly hope so, and if not, I hope you repent and start living what you tell others today.
