Although I made this mix a few weeks ago, I wanted to wait until summer to arrive before releasing it. This podcast was inspired by the fun, outdoor parties I'm doing this Summer. The San Diego Zoo Party, Sandblast, Pines Party, The Med Cruise for Atlantis Events - all have such an upbeat, happy feel to them. There are a few tracks on here that have been previously unreleased, like my dub of Dionne Mitchell's "I Love Music," "Strength" by Bill Bouvier featuring Erin Hamilton, and my private mix of "Someone Like You" by the amazing ADELE, which is a little bigger sounding than the one Brian Cua & I released. He quickly fell for the harder side of dance music and became a regular at underground raves held in the Arizona desert. In the summer of 2000, he moved to San Francisco and was transformed by the diverse local dance scene, which includes parties like Universe, Pleasuredome, Mass, Fag Fridays, and Trannyshack. After a year of immersing himself in San Francisco's vibrant nightlife Steve bought a pair of Technics turntables off of Craigslist and began crafting his own unique sound that incorporates elements of vocal, disco, tribal, and progressive house with occasional forays into techno and trance. A decade later he finds himself bringing his signature sound to a diverse set of parties around the globe. Recent appearances include REAL BAD XXIII, Tonker London, Industry, Disco Cherry, PLAY T-Dance, Los Angeles Pride, REACH Pride T-Dance, and Gus Presents.
