A lot of the time, award shows can be fun, exciting, star-studded events. And sometimes...they're like this year's American Music Awards. First off, tons of the A-list nominees didn't even bother showing up. And then, for a couple of stars who did show up, things got weird onstage. Shaboozey gave his co-presenter Megan Moroney some serious side-eye that people are still talking about. After we dissect the AMAs, we have an update on Miley Cyrus. In a very revealing interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe, she opens up about new music, sobriety, and the medical condition that makes singing a serious challenge. And to cap it all off, we have the latest on what Hugh Jackman's ex is saying about his “betrayal.”See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
And we're back. Barely. Mal had a to do a quick pit stop on his way to the studio after eating greasy vegan food last night. But we're here and we are ready for Game 5 at the Garden. Cardi B and Stefon Diggs made waves on social media partying on the love boat. Clipse is releasing their new album through Roc Nation which has Rory and Mal predicting who will be featured on the project. Plus, JLo is out here kissing women on stage for no reason, and we try to help a caller who might have fumbled his girl by accidentally sending her a video she wasn't supposed to see #volumeSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The co-hosts weigh in on the Democrats' plan to spend $20 million engaging male voters. The co-hosts then react to right-wing podcaster Ben Shapiro's recent comments accusing celebrities, such as Jennifer Lopez, of "masquerading as 17-year-olds." Former Congressman Anthony Weiner discusses his bid for a political comeback in New York City's City Council race after a series of sex scandals forced his resignation in 2011. Justina Machado, the star of the Tony-nominated Broadway musical "Real Women Have Curves," discusses originating the role of Ana and now playing her mom, Carmen, and the show's relevance to current events. The American Music Awards are finally back, baby—and the chaos did not disappoint. J Lo made out with her backup dancers, Janet Jackson made a glorious return, and Rod Stewart dropped the F-bomb in front of his kids. But the moment that stole the show? Sean "Diddy" Combs' legal team has formally requested a 60-day delay in his federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial, currently scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025, in New York. The defense argues that the recent superseding indictment, which added new charges involving a second alleged victim, necessitates additional time to prepare. They cite incomplete evidence disclosure, including a key witness's failure to submit approximately 200,000 emails, as a significant hindrance to their preparation.Prosecutors contend that the defense's request is a strategic attempt to delay proceedings, emphasizing that the trial schedule should remain unchanged. Judge Arun Subramanian has expressed a commitment to maintaining the trial timeline, likening the case's progression to a "freight train moving toward trial." He has set a deadline of April 16 for the defense to submit their formal delay request, with the next hearing scheduled for April 18.Jennifer Lopez may become involved in Sean "Diddy" Combs' upcoming federal trial as prosecutors consider introducing evidence from a 1999 nightclub shooting in which both were present. The incident occurred at Club New York, where Combs and Lopez were attending when gunfire erupted, injuring three bystanders. While Lopez was arrested alongside Combs, charges against her were dropped, and Combs was later acquitted. Prosecutors now argue that this past event demonstrates a pattern of behavior relevant to the current charges against Combs, which include racketeering and sex trafficking.Lopez's team is reportedly on "high alert" due to the potential resurfacing of this decades-old incident during the trial. Sources indicate that there have been internal discussions about how to respond if the nightclub shooting is brought up in court. The renewed focus on this event adds another layer of complexity to Combs' legal challenges and places additional scrutiny on Lopez's past association with him.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:JLo faces court grilling in Diddy trial as his legal team fights to dismiss evidence from infamous 1999 New York club shooting | Daily Mail Online

Hi friends, happy Wednesday! The other day I was watching Monster In Law - remember that movie? It starred J Lo, her character falls in love with this dream guy, they get engaged, and everything is perfect until… she meets her mother-in-law. The mother in law is played by Jane Fonda by the way, she's so good in it. And the whole movie is essentially about how this mother in law makes her future daughter in law's life hell, so she can break up the marriage. I caught this movie on TV, around mother's day. Which made me laugh, because when most of us think of mother's day, we think of flowers, chocolate, cards that say I love you. But for so many people, that's not the case. Sometimes moms can be the worst. Which got me thinking… who *are* the worst mothers in history? And what did they do to be considered *so* bad? Well, let me just say, I wasn't expecting to find *so* many crazy stories. I had to keep it to two. So let's get into it. Welcome to the Dark History of Momsters. Get it? Moms who are Monsters?!
