THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT with KEVIN SCHOEPPEL, PSYCHIC ANGELO & ETA PETE WILLCOX KEVIN SCHOEPPEL BIO Kevin Schoeppel's interest in psychics began in 1975 when he fell in love with a girl who could predict the future. This relationship sparked his interest in social attitudes toward psychics, as well as in discovering whatever he could about how psychic ability worked. He married his wife, Stanna -- also a psychic -- in 1978. Kevin was raised in Southern Baptist churches, and began teaching the Bible in 1992. In 1999 he was ordained as a deacon by Pima Street Baptist Church of Tucson, and in 2006 was elected adult education director of the church. While teaching Bible classes in the mid-2000s, his students began having more questions for Kevin on what the Bible really says about spirits, psychics, and mediums. At the same time, he began to make friends with psychics and mediums through online social networking, many of whom were pleasantly surprised at his unconditional acceptance of them. Kevin lives near Tucson, Arizona, with Stanna and their son Ryan. The Bible: The Truth About Psychics & Spiritual Gifts ... Aug 1, 2013 Kevin Schoeppel, a seventeen year old Christian boy, tries to make conversation with fifteen year old Tami, while the two are on a church youth retreat together. The conversation takes an unexpected turn for Kevin when Tami tells him that she already knows the future, and tells him what's going to happen. When three weeks have passed, and all of Tami's predictions have come true, a very awestruck Kevin is filled with questions. He begins by asking Tami how she knows the future. She replies, “I don't know. I just know.” Kevin then turns to one of the youth leaders in his church for answers and is told, “That is not of God. I would stay away from that person.” That was enough for Kevin. When you're a Christian in love with a beautiful psychic, what do you do? Kevin began by questioning his beliefs, including whether the Bible was really God's Word or not. Once he had enough evidence to be fully convinced that the Bible really was God's Word, Kevin studied it thoroughly to find out what it really had to say about psychics, mediums, spiritual gifts, spirits, the afterlife, and the Holy Spirit. And he got surprising answers that didn't match the traditional Christian beliefs that he had been raised with. In The Bible: The Truth About Psychics & Spiritual Gifts, Kevin shares with you what he learned — directly from the Bible: Melanie: A Christian Medium's Life and her Gifts of Spirit Sep 6, 2015 Melanie is a lovable, caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all—with a special ability to see and hear spirits, travel out of her body, and affect electronics around her when she gets emotional. All of her life she's been called a witch and told she is going to hell, until one day she meets Kevin, a Bible teacher and deacon who tells her “Melanie, you are not a witch. God made you a medium for a special purpose"--and an unlikely but close friendship begins. After Kevin shows her from the Bible how God actually supports her gifts, Melanie and Kevin's wife, Stanna, inspire him to write a book to help all psychically-gifted persons. With the help of a psychic and book publisher, Dyan, they are initiated into the world of book publishing. When the book is finally published, Melanie is ready to take on the world—from having group readings in her home town to taking “under her wing” younger mediums from around the world. Kevin, meanwhile, is invited to be a guest on several spiritual talk shows. Just as two filmmakers in the UK and New Zealand make plans to do a documentary on Melanie, she suddenly passes away. Without Melanie, Kevin feels lost—until the younger mediums she mentored bring messages to Kevin from her, and point out the signs that Melanie is still very close to him—encouraging him to continue their very unique message of love to psychics and mediums around the world. It's not only a true story—it is a factual one, with most of its dialogue taken directly from audio and video files, Facebook chats and messages, and emails over a four-year period. Metaphysical celebrities such as David M. Baker, Mark Ireland, Tania Thomas, Peggy Imm-Anesi, the Psychic Twins, and others share the adventure with Melanie and Kevin to support their message. And Melanie herself shares with you her feelings and stories of what it is like to be her, and to have her abilities. Melanie: A Christian Medium's Life and her Gifts of Spirit is unlike any other book you have ever read! Read less

In tonight’s show, Kevin returns to talk more about his book and is joined by his psychic wife Stanna and Medium Melanie Runyan who is mentioned in the book and is a key figure that started Kevin on his amazing journey. In his new and amazing book, The Bible: The Truth About Psychics and Spiritual Gifts, author and Bible teacher Kevin Schoeppel has written documented proof that having spiritual gifts such as being a psychic or medium is NOT the work of the devil, but is in fact a gift from our Lord and God. Kevin Schoeppel has taught the Bible for more than 20 years. He was ordained as a deacon in 1999 and in 2006 was named Adult Education Director of Pima Street Baptist Church in Tucson, Arizona. While in that position, Kevin began writing his own Bible Study material for the two classes he taught at his church. More about Kevin on the show. Website: : http://www.bibleforpsychics.com/
His interest in the paranormal began by dating a psychic as a teenager in 1975. This relationship raised his consciousness of the somewhat-lacking social attitudes toward psychics in the 1970s, while at the same time it caused him to re-examine his religious beliefs. He became a Christian in 1988. In the 2000’s, due to media interest in the paranormal, Kevin’s classes would ask him for Biblical answers to their questions about psychic ability, paranormal occurrences, and the afterlife. Meanwhile, as social networks began forming, Kevin began to share the Bible online with mediums and learn about their experiences as well. This led to a friendship between his family and Melanie, a medium in northwestern Arizona who had been unjustly “bashed” for her gift by “Bible thumpers” all of her life. Kevin lives near Tucson, AZ, with his wife, Stanna, and their son Ryan. http://www.bibleforpsychics.com/
