Mit Peter Lorre, Gustaf Gründgens, Theo Lingen, Rosa Valetti und vielen weiteren Stars hat #FritzLang mehr als einen guten Kriminalfilm geschaffen, „M“ ist auch ein Film über die Großstadt, über die moderne Gesellschaft, #Überwachung und Kontrolle, und über die #Massenmedien und ihre Wirkung auf die Massen. Dass dieser Film auch von Rechten begrüßt wurde, ist nicht einer Fehlinterpretation geschuldet, denn konstruiert wird hier auch ein Sündenbock, über den sich eine gefährliche Gemeinschaft konstituiert.
