What started as an afternoon of sailing turned into a life-threatening emergency for Grand Valley State University student Lincoln White-Day. After a sailboat mast came into contact with power lines, bystanders performed CPR until emergency crews arrived. Lincoln was taken to Corewell Health in St. Joseph before being airlifted to Grand Rapids for intensive burn care. Lincoln talks about what he remembers from the accident, the injuries he experienced and the care that helped him make a remarkable recovery.
