In episode 13 we begin our series on forgiveness and start with the twist of how do you actually go about forgiving yourself after making a mistake? In episode 12 we conclude the series on how to plan successful goals for the year. We discuss how doubt can actually limit the Lord's power and result in your goals and targets for the year not being met. We look at Moses and Jesus. In episode 11 Ire looks at whether needing God in the past means we'll need him in the future. In order to come to a conclusion, we look at King Asa in the bible, a man who God gave peace and rest to for decades but when further trials and challenges emerged, forgot how God had delivered him in the past and decided to do things in his own strength and confidence. Question to ponder: DO WE REALLY NEED GOD IF WE'RE ALREADY SUCCESSFUL? Further Reading: 2 Chronicles 14, 15 and 16.
In episode 10 Ire looks at one of the reasons we often fail to reach our goals and targets - when we lose sight of the bigger picture and the overriding objective. We look at Joseph in the bible, a man who literally dreamt God's will for his life but because he did not take time to understand the dreams and instead got consumed by excitement, he almost saw his destiny cancelled. We look at how both Abraham and Moses bargained with God and changed God's original plan/course of action which shows God is actually a pretty reasonable guy who cares about our view points on things. In episode 1 Ire talks about what it means to be after God's own heart. We do a study of King David in the bible and we look at what it was about him which made God say he is a man after his own heart. We can use these attributes of David in our own lives as a check to see whether we truly are after God or not and then make the necessary adjustments required.
