If you'd like to learn more, please visit us at duboisfmc.org and follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. This week we will look at something we do, even as Christians, that causes us to 'Live on PAUSE' instead of walking out everything that God has for us. Then we will learn how to make God the 'Center' of our lives, so that, we can Live In True Peace right now on earth as it is and will be in Heaven.

In today's podcast episode, we'll explore the important reminder that God is enough in our lives, and how we can trust in His provision and sufficiency. This is Part 2 of 4.In times of doubt or distraction, remember: He (God) is enough. Trust in His provision, seek His wisdom, and you will overcome any obstacle in your path. We dig deeper into the parable of the weeds, the story of Daniel, Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego. These biblical narratives not only reassure us of God's omnipotent presence in our live because as we navigate through these stories, we're reminded of the profound truth that seeking the Lord first is not just a choice but a necessity. Remember, in all things, He (God) is enough for all our needs.Where to Purchase “necessary.”Available as a paperback worldwide via Amazon. Also available as an audiobook exclusively on UnlockingGreatness.comJoin My Text. Using example for the life of Elijah, church member Jonathan Reimer shows that God is enough for all our circumstances even if it is not in the way we might expect or desire.

Dear listeners, we are in sura 8 verse 64. A verse for you to contemplate and enjoy. God is enough for you . How does this verse make you feel? Knowing that God is talking to you in the Quran. No matter what happens to you , the ups and downs, HE is with you. Nothing can compare to the inner strength of a believer that has faith in God in his heart (The full sura 8 is in episode 1 season 103)
Today we begin our journey through the Good Shepherd parables and narratives. "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want," this famous line from the biblical narrative has the power to change everything - the way we see God, the world, and ourselves.

So what is your goal purpose this week / this year? - there is an ending for everything ( the Hour/ day of judgment) we will all be questioned about our life choices - You are 100% responsible for your life , so choose wisely. 9.23.23 Our God calls us and knows us by name. Let's worship the Lord together in Spirit and in Truth. We will be concluding our sermon series on the book of Job. Scripture: Job 42: 1-6 Sermon Tittle: God is Enough https://linktr.ee/ImagoChurch
The Gospel of John was written so that we may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing we may have life in his name. In the most famous verse of all, John 3.16, we are told that God sent Jesus and that by believing we will have eternal life. What does it mean to believe? We will wrestle with this question as it informs how we live and follow Jesus today. This week we talk about how sometimes we struggle to believe that we have enough. Enough time, enough money, enough (fill in the blank). The truth is that God is always enough.Support the show
Live by Faith | Week 2 | Andrew Ling | September 17, 2023 We are at a point in time (new territory) in our church that causes us to lean on the Lord and LIVE BY FAITH. It's the ability to obey God without seeing what is next. Living by faith is the hope for a future you can't see. Living by faith is what we are called to as followers of Jesus. And the truth is, there is nothing better in life than living by faith. Sermon Big Idea: Today we will look at what it means to live by faith despite our own limitations, and really see how God does the impossible. 00:00 Introduction to Live by Faith 01:51 Hebrews 11:1-2, 6 02:18 To please God (to walk with God), we must have FAITH! 03:44 Hebrews 11:32-34 05:43 Here we find Gideon threshing wheat at the bottom of a winepress (in a pit) to hide from the Midianites. The enemy would steal and kill from the Israelites. 05:53 Judges 6:11-15 07:54 Christophany: a pre-incarnate visit from God the Son, prior to His birth as Jesus Christ. 08:45 God calls us by name, the victorious person that He has made us to be. 10:02 You can't wait to be ready, because you will never feel ready. 11:35 We live by faith because GOD IS ENOUGH when WE'RE NOT. 14:55 He knew he would be afraid to attack… 15:40 A loaf of bread… 16:09 God has given Gideon victory over us! 17:31 Judges 7:1-7 19:57 Focus on what is going on so we don't get caught up. 20:13 The odds were FOUR HUNDRED (Midianites) to every ONE (Israelite)! 20:55 Talk about having faith! Gideon could only trust in God because there was nothing else to trust in! 22:22 God can do a whole lot more with less. 22:28 God has a plan that is bigger than you and you just can't see it yet! 23:00 Gideon goes with the 300 men, with a ram's horn, a clay jar and a torch. 27:15 God did what He said He would do… He is true to His Word… 27:20 God does much MORE than we can ever imagine, with LESS. 28:34 I tried to do this on my own, but I couldn't. I needed God. 28:59 So, what battle are you facing? 29:27 Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 31:00 Hebrews 10:38-39 31:57 God just shows up while you're knee deep in work, consumed with the task at hand. The army you're facing, the deficit you're up against… the Lord sees you as victorious, and he says: “I WILL BE MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR YOU.”

Has there ever been a time in your life when you say to God, “I've had enough?” I know I have, and my returning guest, Paul Granger talks about a time when he's felt this way as well. Join us as we discuss how God becomes enough for us and gives us rest to continue on a much deeper and more profound journey than we could ever imagine. Paul's job is "ambassador of Christ"; anything else falls under that call. One of the ways God has invited him to live out the call to "love God and love others" is through creating authentic, accessible space for conversation and community, and advocating for those that may go unseen. This happens through content like the Where did you see God? Podcast and serving with East End Fellowship and YWAM Virginia. He is a husband, father of three, and fan of a good fire pit. Paul's latest book is entitled I have had enough: How Elijah kept going when he had nothing left to give: “I have had enough, LORD. Take my life.” 1 Kings 19:4 These are not the words of a weak man, but of the great prophet Elijah, who after faithfully serving God and seeing Him work, found himself utterly depleted and hopeless. Can you resonate? Have you tried to serve God, only to find things getting worse? Have you tried to be faithful, only to find your actions misinterpreted? Have you given so much and felt more was taken in return? I have, and it is an utterly demoralizing place to be; yet we can find encouragement in Elijah's story, because the verse above was not the end. This short book takes us through the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 17-19, where the ups and downs of his difficult invitations from God can help us discern how we can keep going when we have nothing left to give.
