The Life in Jesus is the divine nature of Theos of which constantly beliving one are partakers. The old sinful life is expunged by Grace. Nowhere in the New Testament are believers said to have both the old sin "nature" and the new life in Jesus coexisting together! However, believers may walk according to the flesh (Gk. sarx). But the term "old sin nature" is never used in a coextensive manner with our new life in Christ. The old sin nature is the old anthropology when we were dead in trespasses and sins! The new ontology in Jesus has is not infringed upon by the darkness of the past or this present evil darkness.

But what is Jesus saving us from? The answer will surprise you.

The longer that we follow Jesus, the more our lives should resemble His. Yet, this isn't always the case. You can find Christians who have attended church for years, but their lives look nothing like Christ. In order to become like Jesus, we need more than programs. We need relational discipleship. Title: Become Like Jesus Series: Walk with God Text: Luke 6:40 Speaker: Josh Branham
Many people know about God, but not everyone walks with Him. We need more than head knowledge, we need to be connected to Christ. There are places, times, and activities that will help us spend time being with Jesus. Title: Be with Jesus Series: Walk with God Text: Mark 6:30-32 Speaker: Josh Branham
Talks for this episode: Matthew 14:1-36 (The Death of John the Baptist, Jesus Feeds The Five Thousand, Jesus Walk on Water, Jesus Heals The Sick At Gennesaret) Matthew 15:1-39(Tradition And Commandments, What Defiles a Person?, The Faith Of A Canaanite Women, Jesus Heals Many, Jesus Feeds The Four Thousand) Important Verses: "This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men." (Matthew 15:8-9 references Isaiah 29:13) " But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. These are what defile a person." (Matthew 15:18-20) “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” (Matthew 14:31).

Our text is occasioned by friends who bring a friend to encounter. The encounter of the blind man resembles our experiences in many ways. Like the blind man most of us, even though Jesus has touched us, we still have a long way to go. We are not where we need to be in our faith. We haven't fully comprehended what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Some of us feel ready to start running while still learning how to walk. Like the blind man, we may not be entirely blind, but we are still partially blind. We don't see ourselves and others the way God wants us to see.--The truth is, we are not ready to walk with Jesus. We still need Jesus to walk us around until He sets us free to walk with Him. Wouldn't it be great to experience a touch like that from Jesus today-
