Amazing how everyday people can inspire and move you with their life story and also lead you to some famous people along the way.As a test for his first show Simon interviewed his mother and got some good feedback and so he decided to kick on and see how it goes.Simon hopes you enjoy the Barbershop Banter Podcast!

He is considered the main contributor for the past 15 years of video and audio material for the Lusk Heritage  Group and has taught film making to various groups along the way.

They also reflect on years gone by when Marian dabbled in creative writing and was recruited to write stories for Disney Comics, and the Gay Byrne radio show treasure hunt that led to Gay personally reciting a poem over the airwaves written by Marian herself lamenting her unsuccessful attempts to find the treasure!  All in all an enjoyable listen!

    Si Cregan of the Barbershop Banter Podcast & Co Host Aaron Dempsey sit down to chat with former world champion boxer Paulie Malignaggi about his early life in Brooklyn and Sicily, his introduction to boxing at  the great Gleasons Gym in New York, a brief trip to Dublin as an amateur in the 90s and his rise to being a 2 time world champion. Paulie also speaks candidly about his experience with the McGregor camp in the run up to the Mayweather/McGregor bout in 2017 and the controversy surrounding it. All in all a top guy, very articulate and a great listen!
