The Celtics beat the Kings 120-106 but this game was much closer than the score shows. The Celtics closed this game out with a 32-18 4th quarter really putting the Kings away. The 4th quarter was powered by 14pts from White and 8 from JB but this was a game that was really controlled by our bench. Hauser and Simons both provided a huge scoring punch with 15pts and 14pts respectively and Garza even chipped in 11. While Baylor and Hugo both only scored 3pts, their imprint was also on this game with their energy. In this thought-provoking episode, Christopher from Radiant Fire Radio shares about JonMark Baker of the Minor Prophets did a podcast on "Repentance, Mercy and Judgment in the Church. (Link below). This podcast came after his former counterpart Jeff Simons quit the show. Simons quit the show because he couldn't take being in the ministry that involved exposing the darkness in the Church. In my opinion JonMark is trying to share his feelings on why he wants to quit but won't quit. JonMark shares what bothers him about the exposure ministry. JonMark claims that he was afraid of those accusing of him of wanting to "Burn it all down!" JonMark admitted that his anger about the darkness that was in the Church was overwhelming. At times JonMark honestly questions is there anyone in the Church with integrity anymore. I had the same questions, but I know that I'm not speaking on my own behalf, I am speaking on behalf of God. I know that the anger that I feel is not natural anger. It is a supernatural anger from God. I believe everyone else who is involved in exposing the darkness in the Church feels the same way. This anger that I experienced from time to time is from the Lord. I believe the Lord allows us to feel His heart so that we understand how He feels about what's going on with the Church. People in the Church who hurt other people don't care that they have hurt other people. JonMark does not understand that when these people get to this point they have been turned over to a reprobate mind and that is very hard to turn back around from. God has given these people another opportunity to turn their life over to Him. The unfortunate part about this is that they may have already gone too far. This episode is a commentary on the "Minor Prophets" show Repentance, Mercy and Judgment in the Church. Where will you stand? Will you be standing for God? Or will you do like everybody else? The Celtics BEAT THE HEAT 129-116 after an impressive 4th quarter stretch with contributions from a lot of guys. Derrick White was Mr Consistent in this game and seemed to hit every big shot imaginable on his way to a 33pt 5reb 6ast game with 9 3pt makes!!! JB, while it was certainly a slow start with just 6pts in the first half, added another 30pt game which he has done in 12 of his last 13 games! On top of his 30pts he also led the team with 9reb and 7ast along with a 10-11 FT performance to make up for last game lol. What makes this win more impressive is the performances we got from our bench. Hauser was 5-6 from 3 with 15pts, Simons added 14pts and Hugo had 10pts 8reb 2stl and a block. Hugo was absolutely key down the stretch on both sides of the ball and it made it impossible to take him out. He ended up with 29 minutes tonight which you just love to see. The Celtics beat the 76ers 109-108 in a Halloween bloodbath! The Celtics led by as many as 24 in this game and certainly struggled to score down the stretch after a scorching hot start. The scored 68pts in the first half shooting 56% from the field and 42% from 3 and those numbers plummeted to just 41pts on 32% from the field and 20% from 3 in the 2nd half. The late game execution was less than ideal especially in the last 30 seconds including some missed free throws and a disjointed inbounds play at the end but the Celtics pulled off a huge win!Jaylen Brown led the way once again with 32pts on 68% shooting and 57% from 3 adding to his insanely efficient start to this season!! Outside of JB, the Celtics got solid contributions across the board including 15pts from both White and Pritchard. Although their 3pt shooting was horrible once again in this game, they impacted the game all over the place. Minott had a huge impact on the boards and Simons helped a ton with his 19pts off the bench. This was a great team win with contributions up and down the roster!
