Two things that bother me, is when people ask what my dream job is, and what is my "why."  Just don't ask, because I am not playing that game with you. If you can't figure that out, then you may have a bigger problem than me. I will rebel against this question, by eating pineapple on pizza, and patiently waiting for the revolution. It's time for something big in this world, and I may be just too tired to care about it.

I am exhausted by the fact that everything now needs an account, an app, or my phone number. I am not trying to join a loyalty program, a community, or a digital ecosystem. I am trying to buy a sandwich. Just give me the discount already!Somewhere along the way, our entire way of living turned into a gamified mess. Points, badges, rewards, tiers, and notifications constantly reminding us we are just one more click away from saving a few cents. To get there, we hand over data, attention, and access without a second thought. We are warned nonstop about identity theft, data breaches, and unauthorized access. We are told to protect our privacy and lock everything down. At the same time, participation in modern life requires our identity at every turn. This episode is part rant and part reality check. What happened to simple transactions? What happened to trust, to authenticity, to real human exchange? Not everything needs to be optimized. Not every interaction needs to be tracked. Chasing rewards is not the same as chasing meaning, and engagement is not the same as connection.Let us keep things real, authentic, and organic. Or at the very least, let us remember what that used to feel like before everything required a login.

Jatinder discusses the concept of rapport and his mission to explore this through interviews with experts, both offline and online. He reflects on the challenges faced, such as scheduling and finding suitable locations for recording, recounting anecdotes like arranging an interview with Dr. John D. Martini. Jatinder emphasises the evolution of his podcasting skills through practice, inspired by an internet marketer's advice to find one's voice over 50 episodes. He also talks about creating a dedicated podcast space post 2020 and his plans for future content. Everything costs too damn much and it's not accidental. Food, groceries, bills, repairs, eating out… all of it feels rigged, because it is. We've hit an economic point of no return, drowning in debt while pretending we're not even sure who we owe it to. We're propping up a broken system with fake paper money and calling it “normal.”In this podcast, I break down how we got here and why the simplest fixes are the ones nobody wants to touch. From fast food and veterinarians to big-box stores and auto mechanics, I dig into how everyday necessities turned into financial landmines. This doesn't end well and pretending otherwise won't save us. Hang on to your wallet, brother.

From traveling solo and eating alone to watching how my dad treated people with kindness that didn't always pay off for me, this one's about what it means to do life on your own terms.I dive into what it's like to be introverted in an extroverted world, how social circles and life can feel like high school all over again, and why being nice doesn't always lead to success. The truth is, it isn't supposed to be this way. Across the world, people are waking up and refusing to stay silent. The last six years have tested all of us, and now it's time to push back. Change won't come from waiting. It comes from standing up and taking it back. So where do we go from here? That's up to us. In the latest episode of No Way, Jose!, NWJ670: "The Rise, the Fall, & the Well-Deserved Death of Ian Watkins," host Jose Galison dives headfirst into one of the most gut-wrenching tales of fame's dark underbelly. From the blistering riffs and chart-topping anthems that propelled Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins to rock stardom in the early 2000s—sharing stages with icons and amassing a rabid fanbase—to the horrifying revelations of his depraved crimes against the most vulnerable, this solo episode unpacks the shocking betrayal that shattered lives and exposed the rot behind the glamour. Jose traces Watkins' meteoric ascent through the Welsh alt-rock scene, his ego-fueled excesses, and the grotesque details of his 2013 conviction for heinous acts that still send chills, all leading to his brutal, cathartic end in a maximum-security prison cell. It's a raw, unflinching look at how unchecked power can corrupt absolutely, delivered with Jose's signature blend of sharp insight and zero-holds-barred storytelling.Marking Jose's bold pivot to bite-sized, solo deep dives on self-contained sagas of human darkness, this episode kicks off a fresh format for No Way, Jose!—shorter, punchier explorations that hit hard without dragging on. If the twisted arc of Ian Watkins left you reeling (in the best, most therapeutic way), Jose wants your take: What worked in this quicker, more cursory style? Too rushed, or just right for these compact horrors? And what other pocket-sized nightmares should he tackle next? Picture chilling "Programmed to Kill"-esque tales like the eerie mystery of "The Woman in the Box"—that infamous 1930s suitcase discovery in a Los Angeles flophouse—or the sadistic partnership of Leonard Lake and Charles Ng, the '80s survivalist duo whose bunker of horrors rivals the wildest true-crime fever dreams. Drop your thoughts, votes, or wild suggestions in the comments, emails, or socials—Jose's all ears for what twisted stories you crave in this new vein. What format is best for podcasting? Should you do interview or solo episodes? This is the great podcast format debate. As a podcast coach, I've seen how each format plays out in real business growth. In this episode, I look at both options and share the pros and cons of each. Here's the breakdown: Interview Podcasts Build community and expand your network. Transfer authority from your guests to you. Risk: Some guests add little value or only want access to your audience. Solo Podcasts Put the spotlight on your thought leadership. Build trust and authority quickly. Make your listeners feel connected to you. The Winning Strategy Many podcasters find success using a combination of both formats but that's not right for every podcast. Hello! I only do solo episodes. Why? Because my episodes are short and that's what serves my listener. So, how do you choose what's right for you and your podcast? Start with the most important thing — serve your listener. That might be with curated interviews, solo episodes, or a combination of both. Ask yourself: What serves your listener best? Which format builds your authority? How does your podcast serve your business goals? If you're stuck in a rut (only doing interviews or only going solo) it might be time to rethink your strategy. Let's talk about it. Book a free private podcast coaching call and let's find the format that works for you, your listener, and your business. Unleash Your Inner Creative with Lauren LoGrasso

Hi Creative Cutie.!This week I'm sharing something really personal with you. I recorded this episode right from my bed, no video, no script, just me and my heart. I've been going through a season of deep creative grief, and I wanted to take you inside what that actually looks and feels like. It's raw, it's real, and honestly… It was also super healing. In this solo episode, I open up about the changing tides in my creativity, what it means to close a long chapter, and how I'm learning (again) to make space for my inner artist to come back to life. If you've ever felt stuck, unsure, or like something in you is ending so something else can begin, you are not alone. From this episode, you'll learn: -What “creative grief” really looks like (and why we need to talk about it more)-How identity and creativity are deeply intertwined-Why the podcasting industry is shifting and how that's impacting indie creators-The cost of constant output and what it really means to take a creative break-Why your inner artist always returns when you're readyI also read you a personal journal entry I wrote as a love letter to my artist self, and maybe it'll speak to yours, too.Coach Dad (The children's youtube show I worked on): https://youtu.be/WrU6T_JIQT4?si=uW5k4LyJjyOkXlhD&t=256

We also talked about my journey from solo social media freelancer to leading an agency.
