My guest for episode seven is Cara Snow. Cara is Chief Community Engagement Officer for the Technology Association of Oregon where she focuses on member engagement, cybersecurity programming, and workforce development with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. And, as she likes to say, has been working in tech before it was cool. In this episode, we explore the state of the tech industry in Oregon, how individuals are firms are pivoting in the midst of a global pandemic, what's working in workforce engagement, as well as why Cara is obsessed with finding and collecting loose change.

Nitin is the Founder and Managing Partner of Elevate Capital—A venture capital fund that helps underserved entrepreneurs reach their highest potential. Allison is the founder and CEO of Hubb, an event management software company and has spent the better part of the last two decades in the events business.
