We lie to everyone around us everyday without even realizing it. Everyone lies for different reasons, normally to protect themselves. But the biggest lies we tell are to ourselves. Can you be 100% honest to yourself about anything? In today's podcast we talk about the importance of being violently committed to telling yourself and others the truth. I discuss my own experience of being 100% honest with my husband about my spending and food addictions. We mothers have so many things on our plates, let's not add living in fantasy land to them!
Everyone has an ego, some people call it the natural man, some call it the id, but we all have one. It rears it's head when we are offended, feel judged or oppressed. Our EGO has come out to play. In today's episode, Hayley talks about how we all have this ego that tries to protect us and keep us in the 'known', and explores the possibility of setting the ego aside and allowing yourself to grow and learn. How does it effect a life, relationships with friends and family, etc . . . Like what you hear? Please rate and review! It helps this podcast get out there for new listeners.
My favorite super hero is Wonder Woman. She stands for everything that I want to be, truth, integrity, strength, power, and love. In today's episode I talk about how the scene of Wonder Woman, Diana Prince, confronts Steve Trevor about going into No Man's Land on the battle front and saving the people of the German city behind the German army. Diana stands when no one else could, taking the bullets, taking the heat, creating space for others to follow her into the fight and eventual victory. I apply the actions in this scene to what we must do in our lives to be leaders and to live our truth even when it is difficult, unpopular and isolating. We all must lead in our lives, take the heat and create the space for others to follow. Like what you hear? Please rate and review this podcast so that others can find it too!

This week's episode I talk about an experience I had at the gym, where the fire alarm went off, but no one got up and moved. Most people sat on the equipment looking around as if they were unsure what to do, or just flat out ignored it. There are fire alarms going off in your life that have been warning you of impending danger. Have you listened to them? Or have you ignored them, continuing your routine as if nothing was the matter?
