When you make a choice, its effects ripple further than you can see. When you plant a seed and nourish it, it can grow beyond your wildest expectations. And when you add to the work God is doing, He can multiply it into something Exponential. This three-week series explains that God has a different economy than we do, and that His ways are higher than ours. When we're generous with our time, energy, money, or talents, He can cause them to affect more people than we could every imagine.

How different would the world look if everyone got what they deserved? Would your salary be the same? What would our prisons look like? Would nice guys finish first or last? Or would things be a lot worse? This four-part conversation takes a look at the things we actually deserve that God's forgiveness spares us from: death, condemnation, rejection, and being counted out.

Our thoughts are powerful. They change our perspective, impact our decisions, and influence our habits. But what do we do when we become trapped by our thoughts, unable to escape negative and unhealthy thinking? Let's learn what it means to take our thoughts captive and win the war in our minds.

Life doesn’t always go the way we expect, and we pray to God for help and guidance. But sometimes it seems like even though we pray with faith, God doesn’t do what we've asked. We seek Him, but don’t feel His presence. We go through pain, but our cries for relief seem to go unanswered. Sometimes, our lives just don't make sense.

In spite of some of the Christians you’ve met or done business with, in spite of revivals and scandals, in spite of how you view the Bible, and in spite of your church experience, you should consider putting your faith in Jesus as your Savior. Why? It has nothing to do with your personal experience and everything to do with history’s greatest mystery.
We love offering little nuggets of advice, support, or sympathy. They come in handy when we want people to feel better. But what if the guidance you’re giving or receiving just isn’t true? What if God Never Said That? This four-week series tackles common myths about God, like “God wants you happy” or “God never gives you more than you can handle,” and how those myths keep us from having a deeper relationship with Him.

Forward Point Live Stream 1/3/21 - Face the Giant by Forward Point Church
Throughout the Bible we see stories of God meeting needs even when He doesn’t meet our expectations. We see Jesus calming doubts, God rewarding faith, and ordinary people slaying giants when they trust in the Father. The same can be true today, when we’re facing giants of doubt, fear, inadequacy, failure, or any number of other things that just seem too tall to overcome alone. In this two-week series, Pastor Jeremy Foster of Hope City will share how fear can be converted into faith and how God still shows up even when our doubts do, too.
During the December series The Gift, our attention will be drawn back to the true meaning of the holiday season. By highlighting the significance of the gifts the wise men brought to Jesus (gold, frankincense, and myrrh), we will be able to connect the symbolism within the story of Christ’s birth to their relationship with Jesus. This series will provide attenders with new insight on the birth of Jesus to gain a deeper understanding of who He is.

Stephen Skinner discussing God's promise to us.
Joy. Sadness. Anger. Compassion. God has given each of us the capacity to feel deeply. And when we can better process our powerful emotions, we can start to understand how He will use them for His good. Jesus wept. It’s the shortest sentence in the Bible but it reveals so much about who Jesus was. He was not aloof, or distant from the people he met. He was present. He wept. He felt…deeply. The Bible shows us many examples of Jesus’s emotions: love, compassion, righteous anger, sadness, and more. In this series, we’ll look at how Jesus processed emotions and how following His example can help us see how our own emotions can be used to fulfill God’s purpose in our lives.
Jesus felt many emotions—and anger was one of them. But there are a few things we can learn about why Jesus got angry, and what He chose to do when He felt strong emotions.
