With more than 33 years of service in the United States military and current Chairman of America's Future, General Flynn's military career culminated as the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and as the nation's highest serving military intelligence officer. After retiring from the Army in 2014 and as a private citizen, General Flynn went on to serve in a variety of business, educational, and non-profit roles, to include supporting veterans' organizations around the country, something he continues to do today. General Flynn is a National Bestselling Author, holds three master's degrees, and is recipient of numerous military, intelligence and law enforcement awards. The conversation begins with General Flynn explaining why he created the documentary. The [DS] has infiltrated the government, the corruption is worse than anyone could imagine. They came after the General but the General never backed down, he kept fighting and the [DS] couldn't destroy him. His family never gave up on him and stuck with him the entire time. Will General Flynn be in the Trump admin V2?
Pastor Jason Sharpe centers on finding peace and direction through faith and positive thinking. Drawing from Philippians 4:6-9 and Romans 8:5-6, he emphasizes the power of prayer and focusing on virtuous thoughts to combat anxiety and negative thinking. The importance of prayer in reshaping the brain's functions, as highlighted by Dr. Caroline Leaf, underscores the transformative potential of spiritual practices. Additionally, the message highlights the distinction between worry as a lack of trust in God's promises and the importance of surrendering what cannot be controlled to Him. It encourages a proactive approach to life, combining personal effort with trust in divine guidance. Ultimately, the message advocates for a continuous cycle of positive affirmation and belief until it becomes ingrained in one's mindset and outlook on life.

Drawing inspiration from biblical passages such as 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 and Philippians 1:12-14, Pastor Jason encourages viewers to recognize the influence of cognitive biases and to engage in reframing — changing the perspective on situations or relationships to find meaning and positivity. Pastor suggests that while we may not control what happens to us, we can control how we interpret and respond to those events. Three key steps are highlighted for reframing: expressing gratitude for what didn't happen, practicing pre-framing, and seeking out manifestations of God's goodness in our lives. Overall, the message encourages a mindset of empowerment and spiritual growth through intentional thought patterns and perspective shifts.

For the Christian there is a battle within—a battle between our spirit that wants to please the Lord, and our flesh that wants to please self. In Romans 8, Paul gives us three encouraging ways that the Holy Spirit helps us to fight the battle of the flesh and spirit: He empowers us, adopts us, and prays for us. Pastor Gary explains all this in today's teaching, “Winning the War Within.”

Welcome to The Times of Israel's Daily Briefing, your 20-minute audio update on what's happening in Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world. Today is Day 146 of the war with Hamas. Editor David Horovitz joins host Amanda Borschel-Dan for today's episode. According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar believes that Hamas is winning the war it started against Israel on October 7, telling senior Hamas officials in Qatar that his ruling terror group “has the Israelis right where we want them.” Horovitz weighs in. On Wednesday, in a televised speech, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh called on Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank to march to Al-Aqsa Mosque to pray on the first day of Ramadan on March 10, during the war in Gaza, seemingly seeking to raise tensions in the area. At the same time, Israel's war cabinet has reportedly ruled that National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir won't be able to bar Arab Israelis from worshiping at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount on Ramadan. What may happen at this flashpoint site? Yesterday, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant called for an end to military draft exemptions for members of the ultra-Orthodox community, and said he would only back legislation settling the matter if it is endorsed by centrist ministers Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot. Horovitz explains how the clock is ticking for new efforts to conscription “all Israelis.” In total, 3,511,758 out of 7,100,390 eligible voters cast ballots, down from 56% during the previous municipal elections in 2018, according to data provided by the Interior Ministry. It seems Haredi Israelis turned out in high numbers, while Jerusalem Arabs largely boycotted. Horovitz breaks down some of the numbers. For the latest updates, please look at The Times of Israel's ongoing live blog. Discussed articles include: Live blog February 29, 2024 Gallant says no Haredi draft bill without centrist support, risking coalition crisis Report: War cabinet sidelines Ben Gvir, rejects Ramadan Al Aqsa limits on Arab Israelis Hamas chief claims flexibility in truce talks, calls for Ramadan march on Jerusalem Half of Israel stays away from democracy * Friction helps Biden and the PM * SIMs signs THOSE WE HAVE LOST: Civilians and soldiers killed in Hamas's onslaught on Israel THOSE WE ARE MISSING: The hostages and victims whose fate is still unknown Subscribe to The Times of Israel Daily Briefing on iTunes, Spotify, PlayerFM, Google Play, or wherever you get your podcasts. Our text comes from Jesus' answer to a question about the end times. It is a truth that can deliver us from any torment that might come into our life. Understanding this will calm most any situation. This is the greatest source of hope contained in scripture. Everyone of us is engaged in a battle within ourselves that can wear us down and can bring our demise. We have learned how to hide these private battles The simple words of our text is the secret to overcoming: In your patience possess ye your souls. Or as the NLT translates: By standing firm, you will win your souls. In what ever battle we find ourselves, simply enduring will lead to victory. We may get knocked down, but we can get back up. God has set something in motion in our life, and he will not fail or be dissuaded until that is fulfilled. This scripture does not promise that we will not have any more problems. It does not say we will know and more than we know now. We may not have any more insight about our issues, but it gives us an insight to who our God is. It says of we do it, we will win the most important thing: our soul. The Greek word used here for patience is combined of two root words that mean submission and waiting. The exercising of submissive waiting is where we will the war within. Three areas we must focus on Patience with ourselves Patience in our circumstances Patience with God. God's timing is not our timing, but it’s the right time.
