A journey through the process of BECOMING to BE all God has called me to be using the GEMS Holy Spirit has given. GEMS, short for revelation, insight, understanding, wisdom, illumination, and knowledge. A mouthful! I know, but priceless indeed. Although I
The Season Finale is here!Woooo! Talk about a process! Season 2 is complete and we are finishing up with the sweet reminder to trust God because He does not lie. When we remain in remembrance and understanding of God being the embodiment of truth, there is a level of security we get to live in that feeds faith and brings peace. Walk with me through this episode as I uncover this very truth. My hope is that as you listen and engage, you experience joy, renew your mind, and live life more abundantly. Until next time, Take Care
What would you do if you did not fear? What would you have? What would your life look like?In this episode I take you on my experience of divorcing fear after coming to the realization that the spirit of fear only wreaks havoc with it's irrational and paralyzing tactics. We, who are in Christ, were not given the spirit of fear but that of power, love, and a sound mind! Our big God makes all things possible so why fear or allow fear to stop us? Now I understand that fear is a genuine neurobiological/cognitive process/response that informs our ability to stay safe but it should never be hijacked to control us and govern our ability to make rational decisions that further us in life. The spirit of fear makes a phobia out of life and we were not meant to live that way!be free from fear . . . there's so much more
Hey y'all !!!!Ever felt so frustrated? Frustrated with yourself, frustrated with your way of life? That's me in this episode as I share the realization I came into. It is better to JUST BE with God, in His presence, living in His way than to strive for anything. God has called us to rest and in resting in Him, communing, fellowshipping, we receive all that we need. Don't be burnt out this year! Be replenished and sustained IN the presence of God. Psalm 100
Sometimes we can sike ourselves out of God's direction because we don't have all the pieces. What I have come to learn is: what God gave you is enough! Whether He gave you one step, or 10, what He has instructed was enough. In all, you going with what God gave you is an act of trust and faith in Him. Go with what God gave you, it is enough because He has deemed it so. Trust Him. As you listen and engage, I hope this mini-episode encourages you and causes you to experience joy, renew your mind, and move deeper into living life more abundantly.
Don't be like me, lol. Here is so that your journey to and through the more abudant life may be easier than mine -- so that your process of becoming and being all who God has called you to be isn't as rocky. In spite of receiving the revelation of how to get the desires of my heart, I still found myself being inflexible and unyielding for quite some time. When I tell you this process isn't linear, I mean it! But Thank God for grace and mercy. We're learning and growing, so thank you for journeying with me. I hope this episode will serve as an edifying wake up call that influences you to put first things first and trust God through the process of letting go so that your heart may be open to receive the best of the best. A desire is great, but the manifestation thereof is greater . . . don't hinder it because of stubbornness and resistance to the process of reviecing. Release to receive. Truly. Let James 1:22-24 be your meditation. We do not want to forget what we look like, not even for a second. "22Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like."
You want they key to get the desires of your heart? Here it is! On our first episode of season two we are diving into what Psalm 37: 4-5 means on a deeper level. One think I'd like to clarify is that committing your journey to God and trusting Him entails you following the instructions He gives concerning your direction in life. Ask Him to give you wisdom. Imagine asking for the same thing year after year, but it's being held up because you are refusing the process that is a catalyst to God bringing it to pass. We don't want that for you. Listen and engage! -- Let me know what you received from this episode. Remember God is faithful always and I hope you experience joy, renew your mind, and live life more abundantly ❤️
Wow! One full season of podcasting! It's been quite the journey and in the episode I talk about how important it is for me to take Small Steps in order to make Big Moves. Hopefully you can relate and/or glean some wisdom. Thank you for journeying with me. I look forward to sharing in the BIG MOVES God is making in our lives. Until next time, God bless.
Recognizing that God's goodness is not dependent on whether we are experience good or bad things in this life is so freeing. Journey with me as I share how I processed that God is still good no matter what. God will always be God, and that's good.
Have you ever wondered "why on earth am I here?!" Well, that's where I'm at in this episode. The process of Becoming to Be certainly isn't a polished one. Journey with me in a moment of vulnerability as I express my thoughts about where I currently am and uncover the Gem of moving out of uncertainty.
Holy Spirit convicted me about my lack of faithfulness helping me to realize my desire to be more like my Father in heaven. Faithful finisher, a process of finishing well the commitments we make.
Change is inevitable, but the change of mind (repentance) can sometimes be the most difficult. In this episode, along with sharing my experience with repentance, I unpack how the change of mind frees us into living life more abundantly.
The freedom that is found in forgiveness is uncovered as I share my experience of learning to forgive myself and some of what I learned about forgiveness along the way.
I share the nitty gritty foundation of becoming who I am called to be. The basis of it all is in my testimony; coming into to relationship with the author and finisher of my faith.
It's our first episode! Today's Gem encourages us to uncover our unique life experiences (voice) and put them into our song (convey them for our God given purpose). I hope you enjoy and receive something valuable as I did.
