Reformation Sunday - Pastor Jeff Ruby leads this service with his sermon 'Putting First Things First' based on Matthew 6:25-34
Welcome back to the Daily Mastermind. I'm excited today to talk to you about a bunch of things were working on with Franklin planners, but also to share a timeless principal with you that I learned a long time ago but it's always good to remind yourself of... Putting First Things First...et me share soem thoughts from Stephen R Coveys book that I think will help you keep your priorities in the right place this week. Understanding Priorities Over Time One of the first thoughts I want to impart is the difference between managing time and managing priorities. Time management is about the clock—a busy schedule. But managing priorities is about the compass—your vision, mission, and values. Your schedule might seem packed, but without a compass, you'll lack direction in the end. The Importance of Quadrant Two Focus on quadrant two tasks—those that are important but not urgent. Many of us get caught up in urgent yet unimportant tasks. However, true productivity and quality stem from investing your time in these important, non-urgent activities that often go unattended. Discover Your True North What truly matters to you? Your true north is your compass in aligning business goals with personal values and long-term vision. It's crucial for entrepreneurs, CEOs, and anyone eager to succeed to determine what holds the most importance in business and life. The Power of Delegation Learn to delegate, delete, or eliminate unnecessary tasks. The goal is to operate within your unique talent—what excites and fulfills you and drives the most productivity. This is where you'll find the greatest impact and satisfaction. The Planning Process Plan weekly, execute daily, and remain adaptable. This planning emphasizes weekly organization while staying nimble for daily adjustments. Your true north remains constant, guiding you through life's distractions and detours. Enhance Your Decision-Making Skills Successful individuals are decisive. It's crucial to develop decision-making skills that boost time management and priority setting. Decide where to focus your time and energy, aligning your efforts with your true priorities to lead a meaningful and impactful life. Conclusion By applying these principles, you'll transform not just how you work but also how you live. Mastering time management and knowing your true north will significantly impact your life. Thank you for joining me today. Please share this episode. It would mean a lot to me and I appreciate your support. George Wright III

Today, Ron continues his teaching series, “AD: Acts of the Apostles.” It's a timely message about how the early church selected its leadership, how it solved problems, and most of all, how it grew in spite of heavy persecution. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/something-good-radio/support
When we read the book of Acts, we see that the early church faced several challenges from without. Political leaders, religious leaders, anyone opposed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The persecution began almost immediately and grew worse over time. But today Ron takes us to a different kind of problem, one the church faced from within, as he continues his teaching series, “AD: Acts of the Apostles.” --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/something-good-radio/support

Don't be like me, lol. Here is so that your journey to and through the more abudant life may be easier than mine -- so that your process of becoming and being all who God has called you to be isn't as rocky. In spite of receiving the revelation of how to get the desires of my heart, I still found myself being inflexible and unyielding for quite some time. When I tell you this process isn't linear, I mean it! But Thank God for grace and mercy. We're learning and growing, so thank you for journeying with me. I hope this episode will serve as an edifying wake up call that influences you to put first things first and trust God through the process of letting go so that your heart may be open to receive the best of the best. A desire is great, but the manifestation thereof is greater . . . don't hinder it because of stubbornness and resistance to the process of reviecing. Release to receive. Truly. Let James 1:22-24 be your meditation. We do not want to forget what we look like, not even for a second. "22Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like."

Hand Me Another Brick: Timeless Lessons on Leadership
Nehemiah 10 / November 27-29, 2023 Put first things first with Pastor Chuck Swindoll as he demonstrates the importance of placing God above every other demand. From the Series: Hand Me Another Brick: Timeless Lessons on Leadership read more
Everyone begins each day with an opportunity. We all have the same twenty-four hours to spend. Too many, however, watch this time slip away because of poor prioritization. Careful thought always precedes good action. The Israelite leaders recognized this reality, and in Nehemiah 10, they signed a document promising to lead lives committed to God. Since God was their priority, these faithful people would begin each day looking to Him. As Christians in the world we are faced with all kinds temptation and opportunity to sin. We must, however, live differently than the world. We learn from Jesus what it means to love our neighbor as ourselves from His parable about the Good Samaritan. We are challenged to examine our own lives and see if we truly love others in this way. Christians are often scrutinized by the world and called out as hypocrites. Only when our faith runs through our whole lives and God is King in our own hearts can we impact others for Christ. God gives us the wisdom we need to love and serve those around us. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/791/29
