The first episode of 2019 features Kyle Gray from Casual Animal Brewing Company in the Crossroads District of KC. Stop in for a delicious beer (or ten) before or after any event downtown or make the brewery your event for the day. Kyle and his wife, Lara opened the taproom just shy of a year ago. I wish them the best of luck moving forward. As I am working my way into improving this podcast, I want to thank Kyle for letting me come in on a day they were closed and pouring me some beer to try while interviewing. Happy Halloween! The sixth episode features The Big Rip Brewing Company in North Kansas City. I sit down with Head Brewer, Bri Burrows as she talks me through a flight of beers named after horror movie characters and explains the process for each brew. It was accidental to drop in after a sold out Halloween Party. I purchased a growler of the Sweet Tater Ale to take home with me to enjoy (in moderation) while I make my Pumpkin Ale.
