Let's Take a Break! is a wonderful new podcast featuring two guys (jim and ryan) who create what we at BloodHart Productions call "sound movies" using only their mouths, microphones, and different electronic recording, editing, and publishing devices. See if you can follow the madness as these two c…
Here it is, y'all! The hot hot spice of Let's Take a Break! This time around we will be tasting a fiery sampling of the hottest amateur improv in town, starting with our favorite nihilistic teen, Billy being given an indecent proposal while working at Pie Hut. Then, some hot water becomes vapor, powering up the greatest era in conventions with a Steam Punk Convention, don't eat the Cogs! Steam will make you sweat, and so will P.E. Especially if you are a pansy like Terrence, in which case you will have to experience some tough talk from Coach Krinkle who tries to help the little panty-waist to not be afraid of P.E. class and also help him to learn all about hot sauce. We finish up with the cool refreshing sea breeze of California where we join an accurate historical recreation of a meeting where they decided who gets to use certain subtitles in Hollywood. Get ready for a trip through hot 'n' spicy village where the laughs, like the burns on your esophagus, never end! I Gare-un-tee!
Number one podcast in the country for two years in a row, a podcast that captured the imaginations and attentions of millions of listeners worldwide, launching the careers of famous actors, comedians, and even senators and governors. A podcast some call "The most important thing ever recorded since Edison sang Mary Had a Little Lamb!" But before you listen to whatever that podcast is, listen to Let's Take a Break! where we check in with Billy as he visits the principal's office and is soundly punished for his non-participatory behavior, even though he said he was sorry! Then, a quick quaff with the Irish Drinking Song podcast before we tune into N. Piahr as he interviews Cleon Boggins (Louisianan by way of French New Guinea) about the controversy surrounding his film "So You Think You Can See Me Kill You Last Summer?" And finally we cruise into a garage sale with our favorite weirdo, "The guy who thinks he's in a grocery store and who always wants eggplants." This one's a corker folks! Listen right now!

Is it a religion? Is it a philosophy? Is it a long-lost ethos of ancient man? No. It's Let's Take a Break! We start with an intense workout where Bootscootin' class is in session! Then, after a small smoke break, we hit it hard with a muscle straining effort at free-style rapping from two guys who should probably not ever rap (featuring a cameo by the guy from cypress-hill who repeats things other guys say.) Then a heart-racing episode of the only podcast made at gun-point, and things heat up with two gay(?) guys talking about "attractive" women and also stuff about holes. Oh, and they forgot to mention Bosom Buddies. Finally cool down as a photographer attempts to wrangle a whole family reunion for a photo. Click on "subscribe" for a free prize every week! This week, we take a detour from our regular hijinks to present to you another groundbreaking podcasting genre from your friends at BloodHart Productions. Episode One is a semi-regular podcast consisting entirely of the first episode of a new podcast each time. Confused? That's a good place to start! But pay attention, dummy, and I'll explain further. See, each episode of Episode One is the first episode in a podcast that never made it beyond the first episode. Get it? No? Too bad because we gotta move on.... For our first episode, we present the premier episode of Goin Groban, the first of many Episode Ones but not the first of many new episodes. Your hosts Jim and Ryan get to the bottom of the mysterious and enigmatic genius known to most people only as Groban. Josh Groban is a singer and a .... well, just listen and find out along with our hosts as we "go Groban!"
Why try Take a Break? Ask this user who left a review on our page: "I tried Let's Take a Break because I'm a white male with very large pores in his nose. I was discouraged reading other people's reviews, as most of them said that this podcast did nothing for the pores on their nose. Well, I'm happy to report that either I've found a secret, or I'm just an exception. Let's Take a Break! DOES work as advertised. However, for it to work effectively, you need to empty your pores and let this podcast work from the inside. How are you going to reduce a pore's size when you have a big ole oily blackhead keeping it open wide? You have to take the physical blackhead out of the equation, first. To achieve success, I use a blackhead removing adhesive strip to empty the pores, and I immediately use Let's Take a Break! after removing the strip. I don't use a 2nd podcast as this show has many moisturizing elements in it already. After LESS than a week of using Let's Take a Break! twice daily on my nose, under the eyes, and my forehead, the difference it's making is very apparent and welcome." Also feat.: an interview with MJ, An installment of "The Stranger," Cainespotting, two guys meet in a parking garage, two stoners and a microphone, McConnahey and Jabro, and a tolerable version of Michael Winslow: Portal Jumper. Listen up dudes!!!
Much like Dr. Samuel Beckett in Quantum Leap or other such portal jumping sci-fi serials, this week's Let's Take a Break allows us as listeners to experience different times and places and even bizarre universes. Like a place where a jug band holds auditions for a jug player, a time when as a teenager you were forced to where ridiculous glasses, or a crazy universe where Michael Caine records a disturbing podcast called Batman VII ? Also featuring, a guy named Jeff who is a yelling internet reggae DJ, the Pinfield/Pinhead interview, angry clowns, Live on 2 and 5: Two reporters interviewing each other for Black Friday, two insane pro wrestlers, the great hero John McReady on an insomniac's cattle drive, and Michael Winslow: Portal Jumper! C'Mon, take a chance on Take a Break!!
This week, in honor of the upcoming elections, all of the characters are named after local politicians currently running for offic...oh, um, I'm getting a memo that we cancelled that idea because it would require forethought and planning. Instead I present you with a collection of random sketches created on the spot by amateur comedians! If you listened to the first episode, congrats! You are among the elite few who can say "I was there when it all began, before it was a media empire, before it was a worldwide philosophy/religion worshipped by millions, before all of that, I was there" but; more importantly, if you heard episode 1 you already have a good idea of what you are in for.... hilarious comedy!! This week Jim and Ryan are joined by the amazing Chris, in bringing you sketches like Gator Smith and his bayou gator show, a pizza party with Don and Mike, Greetings: the greeting card writers' podcast (where we find out about the genius behind "lordy lordy look who's fourty!"), The Michael Cain't Podcast featuring Michael Caint, An interview with the trainer of Koko the gorilla with Flip and The Bird on the Morning Zoo, another installment of Michael Winslow: Portal Jumper, and the unfortunately named Blackcast starring Alestair and Chip (w/guest!)
