This week on the Mark Levin Show, there's this endless obsession with Israel and Jews by the Work Reich and this notion that Israel demands unlimited biblical rights to occupy land. Does anyone challenge the UK's sovereignty over Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland? Does anyone challenge the United States' sovereignty over Texas, California or Nevada? Why is it only Israel's right to exist is challenged? Next, not much is talked about the First Continental Congress which convened in Carpenter's Hall, Philadelphia, from September 5 to October 26, 1774. They agreed to boycott British goods in both directions, issued a Declaration of Rights and Grievances, and asserted in Section 4 that the foundation of English liberty and free government is the right of the people to participate in their legislative council. This gathering served as a key prelude to the Second Continental Congress and the Declaration of Independence two years later. Don't do this Iran deal, Mr. President! The Iranian regime the world's worst terrorist state for decades, which funds proxies, lies in negotiations, and uses talks to buy time while pursuing its fundamentalist ideology. The only path to true elimination of this regime is arming and training the Iranian people to overthrow their internal police state. Without fully toppling the regime, it will regroup, Hezbollah and Hamas will survive, and critics (Democrats, media, isolationists) will still attack Trump as having wimped out. Victory requires finishing off the Iranian regime through military, economic, and internal pressure: arming Iranian resistance groups, targeting the IRGC and internal security forces, encouraging the regular army to turn, and backing opposition operations with U.S. and Israeli airpower. With 92 million Iranians facing intensified oppression and executions, this environment is ideal for supporting internal revolt, as done successfully in past operations. The enemy must surrender or die. Zohran Mamdani is intentionally creating a violent and hostile environment for the Jewish community in New York City. Jews are being harassed, pushed, and beaten on the streets and outside temples using bullhorns, while swastikas and other hateful symbols appear in Jewish neighborhoods. Thugs, Islamists, and neo-Nazis act freely because they know they can get away with it. Mamdani speaks out of both sides of his mouth, fully aware of the situation, and is deliberately working to depopulate the city of Jewish people in order to turn it into a permanent center for people of his own faith. On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, victory requires finishing off the Iranian regime through military, economic, and internal pressure: arming Iranian resistance groups, targeting the IRGC and internal security forces, encouraging the regular army to turn, and backing opposition operations with U.S. and Israeli airpower. With 92 million Iranians facing intensified oppression and executions, this environment is ideal for supporting internal revolt, as done successfully in past operations. The enemy must surrender or die. Also, the Democrats and the media are repeatedly wrong, for example, Ronald Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), was mocked as "Star Wars" fantasy despite expert advice. Reagan fought for its funding, envisioning missile-on-missile defense, ultimately leading to the Patriot system. This pressured Mikhail Gorbachev contributing to a nuclear deal and the beginning of the Soviet Union's end. Reagan armed freedom fighters to halt communism in places like Africa and Afghanistan, and it succeeded. The CIA should do the same thing today to support the Iranians, who have repeatedly tried and failed to overthrow their regime by arming them to help both the Iranian people and U.S. interests. Later, Zohran Mamdani is intentionally creating a violent and hostile environment for the Jewish community in New York City. Afterward, Gov Ron DeSantis calls in to break down Florida's new redistricting map and the possible elimination of property taxes in Florida. Finally, Gov Greg Abbott calls in and explains that he designated CAIR as a foreign terrorist organization using new authority granted by the Texas legislature. In response, CAIR filed a federal lawsuit to overturn the designation. Texas is using the litigation to demand extensive discovery, including all of CAIR's bank records, financial transactions, meetings, travels to terrorist-linked locations, and funding sources and recipients. **Clay Edwards Show – Episode 1202: “Vowel Overload” FAFO Segment** Clay takes a quick break from the Southern Poverty Law Center bombshell to hand out a fresh FAFO Championship… this time to two absolute legends from Yazoo County with more vowels in their names than most people have letters. He reads off the names live on air and starts counting — one guy has **seven vowels** in his first name alone, the other has **twelve vowels** between his first and middle names (plus a random Q for good measure). Clay declares them “terrorist masterminds, serial killers, and future rocket scientists” and jokes their mamas must have dumped a fishbowl full of vowels on the birth certificate and called it a day. Classic Clay — turning a random arrest report into comedy gold while reminding everyone that when you FAFO in Central Mississippi, your name might just end up on the show. Unfiltered, no sugar added reality radio. **The Clay Edwards Show – Vowel Overload FAFO Champions**

As diplomatic talks between Iran and the United States continue in an effort to extend the temporary cease-fire due to expire on April 22, public opinion surveys show that while a majority of Israelis oppose the cease-fire, support for the Iran war is declining. Alon-Lee Green, the national co-director of Standing Together and one of the main organizers of demonstrations against the joint U.S.-Israel offensive in Iran, told the Haaretz Podcast that he is “encouraged” by the decrease in support among Israelis. “I think a lot of people are waking up and joining this protest,” Green said. “It's delusional to believe that the promises that have been made to us at the beginning of the war are still valid somehow, and that we're still fighting to change the regime in Iran or to save Iranians while we're killing them and making them refugees.” Through the protests, Standing Together “tried to remind the Israeli public that just eight months ago, we ended the first Iran war with big promises, with Netanyahu saying that we scored a historic win, that we annihilated the ballistic missile program of Iran, that we annihilated the nuclear threat of Iran,” Green said. “ Green was among the protesters who, after being detained by police at the April 4 antiwar protest in Tel Aviv, were not permitted to enter a shelter during a missile barrage. Police instead took detainees to the lobby of a nearby building that was enclosed entirely in glass. On the podcast, he also recounts being targeted by right-wing activists who have poured chemicals outside his door and repeatedly tried to break into his private residence. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada is nobody's idea of a partisan firebrand. She's a moderate, swing-state Democrat with a résumé steeped in law enforcement — all of which makes her an unlikely leader of the Democratic-led shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security, which has now entered its sixth day.But over the past few months, Senator Cortez Masto said she was horrified by the conduct of federal immigration enforcement agents in her own state and across the country. By last week, she and many of her Democratic colleagues in the Senate decided to act on their outrage. In an interview with her on “The Daily,” Senator Cortez Masto talks about why she decided to support withholding homeland security funding, the political perils for her party in blocking that funding and why she believes most Americans support the strategy.Guest: Catherine Cortez Masto of NevadaBackground reading: Democrats and the White House traded offers, but a deal to reopen the Department of Homeland Security remained elusive.A polling memo circulated among centrist senators urged Democrats to talk tougher on crime, while noting an opportunity for the party to appeal to voters with criticism of ICE.Photo: Eric Lee for The New York TimesFor more information on today's episode, visit nytimes.com/thedaily. Following the Equator (American English title) or More Tramps Abroad (English title) is a non-fiction travelogue published by American author Mark Twain in 1897.Twain was practically bankrupt in 1894 due to a failed investment into a "revolutionary" typesetting machine. In an attempt to extricate himself from debt of $100,000 (equivalent of about $2 million in 2005) he undertook a tour of the British Empire in 1895, a route chosen to provide numerous opportunities for lectures in the English language. In Following the Equator, an account of that travel published in 1897, the author unmasks and criticizes imperialism and missionary zeal in observations woven into the narrative with classical Twain wit.Of particular interest, historically, are Twain's references to Cecil Rhodes in Australia and South Africa, the in-depth description of "Thugs" and "Thuggee" in India and the Boer War period and diamonds in South Africa. If I were a governor right now, I'd put the National Guard on the streets to protect my constituents against these masked federal thugs. And if I were back in Congress right now, I'd vote to shut the government down until these masked federal thugs are off our streets. Come on my fellow Democrats, fascism is here. These are unprecedented times. They call for unprecedented actions. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
