The mainstream narrative on covid is one of fear and helplessness. In this way, we are being led down a path toward manufactured consent of mandatory vaccination and testing. Whom does this serve? Is this to our benefit or that of multinational corporations, pharmaceutical and technology companies, not to mention the military industrial complex? Do not let the limited facts and propaganda dictate the drastic contours of your life.

While we scramble to keep our lives in order, the powers behind the scenes are showing themselves to be truly inept, irrelevant and in fact, dangerous to our survival. The masters of the universe crowd are grasping for the last scraps of a dying reality construct. It is time we open our eyes to the farce that is success and wealth in our society. We will come back from this, but it will be under a different social order if we are willing to demand a stake at the table and retribution from the perpetrators of this economic, political and medical disaster.

While we are focussed on the acute nightmare of an invisible pathogen, what else is going on behind the scenes? What social, political, extrajudicial, financial abuse might be taking place? How did this event come to be? Whether the madness of men or the benevolence or wrath of Gaia, we must keep our eyes, ears and minds open to quickly changing paradigms and question everything.

While with the coronavirus, conspiracy sites speak of end of times or martial law, it is an end of times of a different sort - that of capitalist expansionism and overreach. The virus is the canary in the mine that hopefully forces us to see that we must change course with our economic practices and regard the delicate balance of life and death that we have so callously denied and destroyed through predatory capitalIsm.

From Walmart to Wall Street, our lives are inextricably linked to China. With the threat of the coronavirus, all eyes are on a possible pandemic. And industrialists, so intent on cheap labor, never considered this disruption in the financial equation. We should NOT be so vulnerable and need a realignment of capitalist principles and economic policy. Saturn/Pluto infers the end of the corporatist era of reckless profiteering. The precipitous decline in the markets is just the beginning of a different kind of global epidemic.

Bernie Sander's "radical" agenda should be the floor, not the unattainable ceiling in what would constitute a decent society. In fact, the radicals are the right wing who have wrestled and chained the powers of the government away from the people and toward the powerful few. Let's untangle this ball of lies and set the country straight to avert climate and economic collapse. Otherwise, we're all throwing ourselves on a funeral pyre of our own ignorance and/or complicity.

The Reagan Revolution was a palatable version of much more insidious policies stemming from the libertarian wing of the Republican party. Yet, it set in motion a trend toward deregulation and distrust of government that we are still wrestling with today. In fact, such disastrous drip drip poisoning of our government has brought us to the brink of disaster and the need for real revolution and an honest attempt at democratic economic reform.

While most sane people are decrying the death of democracy in the aborted impeachment trial, there is one group that is orgiastic in its pleasure - the plutocrats and the radical right wing libertarians. The fact that our system of governance is failing has been their covert plot and desired goal for over 50 years. The fifth column has invaded our democracy with horrifying results for the average American and the future fate of nation.

Our current reawakening of Islamist state fervor brings us to an epic impasse. This shit is biblical as we are still engaged in a holy war for ideological supremacy against those desiring a 15th century caliphate. Instead of inciting violence thanks to our own jihadists in the cabinet, we should be ending centuries of old testament eye for eye vengeance once and for all. We are on the edge of a precipice toward further extinction so instead of the nuclear option, let it be the annihilation of a devolved paradigm of violence and human suffering in the name of religion.

While Trump's motivation for ordering the killing of Qud leader Soleimani was purely self-serving, he did wittingly or unwittingly unleash more death and destruction on the planet. As we are approaching a paradigm shifting moment in our history courtesy of a Saturn/Pluto conjunction in the sign of empire, instead of continuous warfare let us consider an end to our history of violence and oppression in support of economic imperialism.

America needs to go on a diet and shed 325 lbs of toxic fat. It's a matter of health and long-term survival. We're a junk food nation and we're becoming terminally ill with a steady diet of chaos, cruelty, bombasticism and mental and emotional dysfunction. We need to make America great again by booting this turkey out of office (if only for symbolic starters). The triple-header astrology of January is encouraging in this regard.

The literal and figurative pillar that upholds racism and sexism is evangelical Christianity. A failure to accept the world that is, these groups attempt to coerce through media and political clout. Any God who hates those whom Jesus loved - the sick and the poor - is the creation of power hungry men and not divine inspiration.

Most politics is fueled by death anxiety - of a culture, of financial prospects, of unearned privilege, of an certain identity or tribal association. Of course, it can be terrifying but we experience mini-deaths everyday which oftentimes advance our lives forward. Life must change and grow and it is only a sociopathic mind that chooses homicide and self destruction over evolution.

With runaway inequality and corporate abuse, the only trajectory is downward into disaster. Jupiter in Capricorn, along with Pluto and Saturn, will force a new system of economic fairness. To survive, it will be best to submit to necessary restraint and accept responsibility for one's sins.

Patriarchy and war are outmoded methods of engagement, especially in a world where cyber warfare has far greater reach and consequences. The obscene waste of money on outdated equipment and 19th and 20th century battle plans reveal a totally inept and corrupt congress owned by military contractors. Wars worth fighting for are those directed at life, not death and the military and police could be repositioned to be life safers and true peace officers instead.

While for most sane people, it feels like we're living in a nightmare, Trump voters are feeding off an unnatural high of delusional thinking. Neptune in Pisces is partially to blame as it makes us more vulnerable to fantasy, addiction, and demagoguery. The opportunists are having a field day while reliable institutions are dissolving in a sea of deception. We will not be here forever and so we must be ready to support the addicted when their supply of chaos and lies dries up for good. If all the world's a stage, who's writing the script? In all events, good and bad, there are various players and interlocking relationships. Whether the hero, the interloper, the stooge, the mark, the plot foiler, all have been drawn together to work through their own karma. Here's a cursory look at some of the players in the bribery cum impeachment scandal and their astrological linkages to Trump.

While Joe Biden's attack on Elizabeth Warren was specious and uncalled for, there is clearly a case for distrust of the elite class. Unfortunately, we are pointing the finger at the wrong folk while dismissing the corruption of the minority who are now claiming salvation or victimhood.

We don't need the current impeachment inquiry to show the corruption and idiotic malfeasance of this administration. From Day 1, Trump was abusing his powers of office. But of course, this could not happen without fellow criminals and enablers. Scorpio is the archetype of prostitution or selling one's soul for money or power and during Mercury retrograde we get to revisit the players in this mortifying and sickening saga of American enterprise.

We're turning into a zombie nation with a vampire in chief who sucks the life out of everything. Scorpio reveals the dark side in any situation, but also the means toward transformation. Let's put a stake in the heart of this corruption so that we can give birth to a new chapter and nation that actually reflects our incredible potential.

Last weekend's Aries/Libra moon packed a punch. Because Trump's criminal violations are numerous, what was the difference this time? Saturn (accountability) and Pluto (abuse of power) turning direct in the sign of government and institutions finally compelled Nancy Pelosi to act and declare that "the times have found us".

While Trump's fixers cry "executive privilege", where does this sense of entitlement come from? It's bred in our national DNA with origins that consisted of a few wealthy aristocratic landlords and the many landless "undesirables", who were sent to America in order to solve Europe's "human waste" problem. A sordid history that created class divides without ever extinguishing the original problems of poverty and inequality. The irony is that now we have a White Trash President who has turned privilege on its head.
