SpaceTime with Stuart Gary Gary - Series 28 Episode 150In this episode of SpaceTime, we delve into intriguing discoveries and ongoing challenges in the realm of astrophysics and planetary science.Cosmic Dance of Dying StarsAstronomers have made fascinating observations of a unique star system named Apep, located over 8,000 light years away in the constellation Norma. This rare system consists of three massive stars locked in a 190-year orbit, creating stunning spirals of cosmic dust. Using the advanced capabilities of NASA's Webb Space Telescope and the Very Large Telescope in Chile, researchers captured extraordinary images revealing four distinct dust shells spiraling outward from the stars. Lead author Ryan White from Macquarie University discusses how these findings enhance our understanding of stellar interactions and the evolution of massive stars over time.Titan's Liquid Ocean: A New PerspectiveA recent study challenges the long-held belief that Saturn's largest moon, Titan, harbors a vast underground ocean. Instead, researchers suggest that Titan may have a more complex internal structure characterized by slushy tunnels and pockets of meltwater rather than a global liquid water ocean. This revelation, based on a reanalysis of data from NASA's Cassini mission, could have significant implications for the search for potential life on Titan, indicating that any existing life forms might inhabit a more confined environment with concentrated nutrients.NASA's MAVEN: Communication ChallengesMission managers at NASA are working diligently to restore contact with the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) spacecraft, which went silent during a routine pass behind Mars on December 6. Engineers are analyzing data from before the loss of signal to identify the cause and determine if the spacecraft can be salvaged. MAVEN has been crucial for studying Mars' atmosphere and has served as a vital communications relay for surface missions.www.spacetimewithstuartgary.com✍️ Episode ReferencesAstrophysical JournalNatureNASA TVBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/spacetime-your-guide-to-space-astronomy--2458531/support.(00:00:00) This is space time series 28 episode 150 for broadcast on 22nd December 2025(00:00:47) NASA's Webb Space Telescope reveals four spectacular dust shells from distant star system(00:10:58) New study says Titan probably doesn't have a vast underground liquid water ocean(00:15:57) NASA mission managers continue efforts to restore contact with missing maven spacecraft(00:18:36) New study finds shared genetic patterns across 14 common psychiatric disorders(00:20:56) A new study claims acupuncture treatment for lower back pain reduces pain

We move from years of dense earth-and-water drag into the fast lanes of air and fire, where ideas travel farther, tech and transit evolve, and courage becomes a daily practice. With Pluto settling into Aquarius, Neptune and Saturn igniting Aries, and Uranus blasting into Gemini, the first half of the year accelerates timelines and demands clear choices. We walk through the big arcs and the exact dates that matter. January offers a final Capricorn cleanout before an Aquarian influx invites upgrades, collaboration, and bold thinking. February is the crucible: a Leo full moon, an Aquarius new moon solar eclipse, Uranus stationing direct, and Saturn entering Aries—all while Mercury readies a retrograde. The message is not panic, but preparation. Build buffers, double-check logistics, and use grounded rituals to steady your nervous system.March reframes the narrative. A total lunar eclipse across Virgo-Pisces highlights health, healing, and policy, then Jupiter turns direct in Cancer to buoy homes, families, and real estate. The vernal equinox lands as Mercury goes direct, opening a rare all-planets-forward launch window for decisive moves. April restores balance with a Libra full moon and an Aries new moon, then changes gear as Uranus enters Gemini, kicking off seven years of disruption in communication, travel, education, and media. May amplifies the money axis with a powerful Scorpio full moon and Pluto stationing retrograde, revealing what's been concealed in markets and shared resources. Late May's blue moon across Gemini-Sagittarius broadcasts global signals worth heeding.June keeps powder dry until the finale: a Gemini new moon sets ideas in motion, then a Capricorn full moon arrives the same day Mercury turns retrograde and Mars enters Gemini. Travel and tech are spicy—plan with care. The payoff comes quickly as Jupiter strides into Leo, lighting creativity, performance, and generous leadership. Across it all, we emphasize practical strategy: when to launch, when to review, and how to translate cosmic acceleration into sustainable progress. The Sega Saturn holds a strange place in gaming history. It sold fewer units in the US than both the Genesis and the Dreamcast. It's mostly remembered for all the "obvious" ways it failed. Yet, it's the best-selling Sega home console in Japan, with a library of games that rivals the entire Genesis ecosystem (including CD and 32X)! Matt & Geoff are joined by Chris Coplien of Retro Hangover (and the Patreon-exlclusive Saturn retrospective podcast, Io Saturnalia) to discuss the Sega Saturn's complicated legacy, the ups and downs of the console's construction, and many of the great titles that are still only on the Sega Saturn. Mars has been out of bounds in Sagittarius and connecting with the outer planets, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. It's been impacting our drive and motivation, leading to feelings of overwhelm and extremes in behavior. Luckily, this week Mars entered the sign of Capricorn where he is exalted, aka feeling himself. You might feel like you can finally get some traction with your to-do list. The Sun will also enter Capricorn on Sunday, marking the winter solstice, aka one of the two days of the year when the sun “stands still” and encourages us to pause. The winter solstice is the “longest night of the year” in the Northern Hemisphere encouraging you to turn your focus inward, pull away from the hustle and bustle, at least for a few moments and connect with spirit. The New Moon in Sagittarius arrives right before that, on Friday December 19. At 28 degrees the New Moon in Sagittarius is squaring Saturn and Neptune and inconjunct Uranus. It's a waving green flag to finally make those changes you've been mulling over before the year is out. This New Moon is activating the Saturn-Neptune conjunction that will define 2026 and have impacts that will last 35 years! This episode with Narayana Montúfar breaks down the major astrological shifts coming in 2026, including the end of long-running cosmic cycles, the rise of the new Fire & Air era, and how Neptune in Aries and Uranus in Gemini may spark transformation, technology growth, intuition, and spiritual awakening. We also discuss ancient civilizations, shifting beliefs about history, growing openness to UFOs/aliens, and why more people are feeling called to follow their passions instead of the old way of working. #Astrology2026#DawnversationsBOOK A READING WITH NARA: https://www.naramon.com/astrology-readingshttps://www.naramon.com/the-luminous-year-2026Narayana@naramon.comDownload the Luminous Year, my astrology & ritual guide for 2026!Book a reading with meFollow me on InstagramWatch my YouTube videosFollow my daily astro-weather on ThreadsOrder my new book: Written in Your StarsPurchase my book: Moon Signs Unlock Your Inner Luminary Power
JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN for this & more Astro News You Can Use! @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking which drops today, December 19!As we begin a new lunar month, we might ask why is it now that we need to dig more deeply into our innate understanding of what it is we know deep down is truly moral, ethical, & just? And why are we being asked to make adjustments to where we've let society's values about morals & ethics trump those of own soul's higher consciousness? This week's podcast begins with a review of last month's Scorpio New Moon opposite Uranus in Taurus energy during its third quarter waning period, which brought to the surface the need for us to evolve our sense of values to bring them into accordance with the “real” world. The shocking events—particularly those of this past week as this monthly lunar cycle waned—provided stark clarity & greater revelations that in order to evolve (read: survive) we must change our ways of thinking & acting. Or better yet, about how we must review our previous inaction on important topics. That's because we know now how the Mars/Neptune square from December 14 resulted in violence (Mars) based on distorted or fantastical thinking (Neptune.) The proof is evidenced by the horrific shootings December 13 & 14 at Brown University, the terrorist massacre at Sydney's Bondi Beach, Australia, celebration on the first night of Hannukah, & the patricide & matricide murders of Rob & Michele Reiner by a son with mental health issues. It couldn't be clearer that the issues of both gun violence & mental health & addiction—particularly in America—has been too long ignored. And that our society needed these sudden, shockingly horrific events to awaken us to the need for change. This is especially true given that gun violence in schools has gone on so long that two Brown University students had been victims of school shootings before. The secret revealed this past month is that we can no longer ignore these horrific events as a society here in America & do nothing.MARS ENTERED CAPRICORN, SUN SQUARED SATURN=BLOCKAGESSince Mars entered Capricorn December 14/15, depending on your time zone, & the Sun squared Saturn December 16, we've also experienced blockages. President Trump's blockade of sanctioned Venezuelan oil tankers, which in turn led to Venezuelan President Maduro ordering that naval vessels accompany these tankers is just one example.By then we also learned that a terrorist plot planned for New Year's Eve had been thwarted, as “federal authorities announced the arrests of four alleged members of an extremist group who are suspected of planning coordinated bombing attacks on New Year's Eve across Southern California.”We also learned by December 18, that there would be no extension by Congress of the Affordable Care Act (ACE) subsidies before they expire on December 31. House Speaker Mike Johnson effectively blocked that from happening & has ensured that millions will lose their healthcare coverage very, very soon. And, last but not least, there's the release of Trump's chief of staff Susie Wile's interview with Vanity Fair Magazine, which revealed another secret: She is not your typical chief of staff who advises a president & stands firm in their convictions about what's right or wrong. Rather she's an enable who describes Trump as having an “alcoholics personality.” Having grown up with an alcoholic father, Wiles knows one when she sees one. This podcast looks at her natal chart & the explanation for how she became more of an enabler than one who can guide the president to do the right thing (read: moral, ethical, & just) for his citizens instead of allowing him to know no bounds in his personal vendetta for retribution against his perceived enemies. On the level of consciousness, this article leads us to understand—along with Trump's December 17 address to the nation--that we may now, at this Sagittarius New Moon, want to adjust our concept of what's morally & ethically acceptable in our society now.SAGITTARIUS NEW MOON & WINTER SOLSTICE: HOPE FOR A BETTER FUTURE BASED ON CHANGEAs we experience the Sagittarius New Moon at 28'24” of this Jupiter-ruled sign on December 19—representative of higher knowledge, philosophy, foreign travel, higher education, law/politics & our judicial system—we now get to place it in a larger context.Given that the November 19/20 Scorpio New Moon opposed Uranus in Taurus, which foretold of the revelations discussed above, we now know the Sagittarius Moon--in quincunx (150-degree aspect) to Uranus in Taurus--asks us now to adjust how we value our relationships based on last month's revelations. In other words, as we ponder what's been happening—not only this past month, but this past year—do we believe our laws, politics, & judicial system here in America have been based on a shared sense of morals & ethics? Or does our understanding of the dichotomy between what we know in our heart to be moral & just & current events present us now with a true moral dilemma moving forward?Tune in to this week's podcast to learn more astro news you can use about how both luminary's squares to Neptune, as the Sun's perfects December 20, & Venus's square to Saturn December 20/21 lead us to the December 21 winter solstice here in the northern hemisphere. And how this time of quiet reflection, as the Sun enters Saturn-ruled Capricorn, can task us to meditate on what moral damage has been done to our legal system as Jupiter squares wounded healer Chiron & dwarf planet of chaos & discord Eris at this lunation. And whether, when Venus quincunxes Uranus & then squares Neptune between December 22-24, & then enters Capricorn, we'll get even more serious about reevaluating our commitment to our current partnerships—both personal & political. For all this & more, tune in, starting today at 11 a.m. PT & 2 p.m. ET, @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking... See you then!! Namaste…

In this episode, we journey through a captivating array of discoveries and cosmic events that challenge our understanding of the universe. We kick off with a surprising revelation about Titan, Saturn's largest moon, where new analysis suggests its interior may be a thick, warm slush rather than a vast ocean, complicating the search for extraterrestrial life. Next, we discuss a recent anomaly involving SpaceX's Starlink satellites that resulted in a satellite breaking apart, raising concerns about space debris and its implications for future missions.Shifting gears, we delve into the implications of President Trump's executive order on national space policy, which aims for a 2028 moon landing and addresses the increasing militarization of space. We then unravel the mystery of Fomalhaut B, once thought to be an exoplanet, but now revealed to be a cloud of debris from a cosmic collision, providing insight into the chaotic processes of planet formation. As we explore the interstellar comet 3I ATLAS making its closest approach to Earth, we highlight the fleeting opportunity for scientists to study this visitor from another solar system. Finally, we celebrate the Spherex Space Telescope's completion of its first all-sky infrared map, which promises to answer fundamental questions about the universe's structure and the origins of life.### Timestamps & Stories01:05 – **Story 1: Surprising Discovery about Titan****Key Facts**- New analysis suggests Titan's interior may be a thick, warm slush instead of a vast ocean.- This alters the prospects for extraterrestrial life.03:20 – **Story 2: SpaceX's Starlink Anomaly****Key Facts**- A Starlink satellite experienced an anomaly, breaking apart and creating debris.- The satellite is expected to deorbit and burn up in the atmosphere soon.05:45 – **Story 3: National Space Policy Changes****Key Facts**- President Trump's executive order aims for a 2028 moon landing and addresses space security.- The order reinforces NASA's Artemis program and emphasizes sustainable lunar presence.08:00 – **Story 4: The Mystery of Fomalhaut B****Key Facts**- Fomalhaut B was revealed to be a cloud of debris from a cosmic collision, not a planet.- This discovery offers a real-time look at planetary system formation.10:15 – **Story 5: Interstellar Comet 3I ATLAS Approaches Earth****Key Facts**- The comet is making its closest approach, providing a rare observational opportunity.- It is too faint for the naked eye but can be tracked online.12:00 – **Story 6: Spherex Telescope's All-Sky Map****Key Facts**- The Spherex Space Telescope has completed its first all-sky infrared map in 102 colors.- This map will help answer questions about the universe's structure and the origins of life.### Sources & Further Reading1. Click here to signup! https://bit.ly/48ZlndgHappy New Moon (conjunct Venus) Solstice! What a powerful combination! Especially so because the whole Sun/Moon/Venus stellium is square Saturn/Neptune in late Pisces just before heading into the cold, white north of old man Capricorn. For some reason I have always had this picture in my mind for Capricorn of a wise old man (like Gandalf) with a long white beard, holding a staff, and standing in the snow somewhere. Well, as you will hear in this week's Pele report I wish there was a Gandalf around these days but don't see anyone like him anywhere, do you? This disillusionment (Neptune) with external authority (Saturn for many) may very well be part of the grand plan for humanity to finally get the idea that they need to develop their (our) own authority within. What better way than to have a bunch of dufuses (an old word from childhood but I hope you get the idea) running the show! When we can't trust those in authority we are uncomfortably put in a position of needing to make the call ourselves. This is hard work, but tremendous growth for us all! We have to do our own research, and then apply the seven virtues that I speak of in this week's report. Mercury/Virgo PRUDENCE (wisdom, discernment)Venus/Libra JUSTICE (fairness, righteousness)Saturn/Capricorn TEMPERANCE (self control, moderation)Mars/Aries FORTITUDE (courage, strength)Jupiter/Sagittarius FATIH (trust. devotion)Sun/Leo HOPE (optimism, expectation)Moon/Cancer CHARITY (love, kindness, generosity)We can ask ourselves repeatedly (especially this week and right on through to New Year's resolutions (which many are afraid to make anymore): Is it wise and fair? Do I have enough self control, courage, trust, optimism, love and kindness to pull it off? Do it right? Make it work? If not then I have some work to do on myself to whip this life into shape baby! Yeah! This week's song is "Are You Ready?" by Pacific Gas & Electric! https://youtu.be/y4ZQ31O2M7Y?si=EJCAfx2klv25hktxSo Much Love, Kaypacha

What actually changes when you understand the blueprint you were born with? Why do certain patterns repeat? Why do some seasons feel heavy, and others open? And can astrology really give clarity without taking away your free will? In this episode, Radhi sits down with The AstroTwins, Ophira and Tali Edut, for a grounded, eye-opening conversation about astrology as a tool for self-understanding, timing, purpose, and relationships. They break down the basics in a way that finally makes sense — from the Sun, Moon, and Rising signs to the North and South Nodes, planetary cycles, and what a birth chart actually shows about your inner world. The twins share how they discovered astrology in college, how being four minutes apart created subtle differences in their charts, and why no one has a “perfect” or “lucky” chart. They explain why astrology shouldn’t be treated as a rulebook, how to avoid becoming dependent on predictions, and why free will matters just as much as the stars. They also explore love and compatibility, what Mercury retrograde is actually about, and why 2026 will bring a major collective reset as Saturn and Neptune meet at zero degrees Aries. In this episode, you’ll learn: What your birth chart reveals beyond your zodiac sign The role of your Sun, Moon, and Rising — and which one people feel the most How the North & South Nodes point to purpose, patterns, and growth Why timing matters: Jupiter return, Saturn return, retrogrades, and yearly cycles How to use astrology without letting it control your decisions What really makes two people compatible (and why “hard” relationships can be meaningful) The difference between Western and Vedic astrology What the AstroTwins predict for 2026 — and why it’s a year of new beginnings This episode is a clear, refreshing reminder that astrology isn’t about telling you who you are — it’s about helping you understand yourself better. When you know the patterns, the timing, and the possibilities, you can make choices with more confidence, clarity, and intention. Mars enters Capricorn on Monday, asking you to move from vision to execution. The Winter Solstice on Sunday crosses you from Sagittarius season (exploration, expansion, possibility) into Capricorn season (building, structure, commitment). In this week's Astro-CEO Board Brief, I walk you through what this means for your business: the daily astrology breakdown (Mars in Capricorn, Sun square Saturn, Venus trine Chiron, Sagittarius New Moon, and the Solstice threshold), specific guidance for Fire, Earth, Air, and Water signs based on your department, and your ONE job this week regardless of your sign. This week rewards precision over expansion, commitment over consideration, and building over visioning. Plus, I pulled the Death card - and it's about threshold crossing, not endings. The Sagittarius New Moon (Dec. 19, 5:43 pm PST) at 28º24' Sagittarius. This New Moon is on the Sabian symbol 29 Sagittarius, A fat boy mowing the lawn of his house on an elegant suburban street. Guard your energy and anticipate that any tasks or any clarity you hope to gain will be hard won and might take a little while for you to see. [4:00] The Sun squares Saturn (Dec. 16, 8:33 pm PST) at 25°28' Sagittarius-Pisces. Use this time to plan and prepare for things that you want to get done at the New Moon, rather than pushing hard to actually do them. [5:04] The Sun squares Neptune (Dec. 20, 5:02 pm PST) at 29°24' Sagittarius-Pisces. Expect to feel drained, maybe a bit confused or unclear about what you want to accomplish during this New Moon cycle. Don't be too hard on yourself if you find you just don't have the energy. [6:25] Lunar Phase Family Cycle (LPFC). The First Quarter (first action point) in this LPFC comes on September 18, 2026, at 25º57' Sagittarius. The Full Moon (awareness point) of this LPFC will occur on June 18, 2027, at 27º33' Sagittarius. Then the Last Quarter Moon (final action point) in the LPFC comes on March 17, 2028, at 27º53' Sagittarius. [8:39] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon periods. The Moon trines Neptune (Dec. 17, 7:24 am PST). It's VOC for 1 hour, 14 minutes, then enters Sagittarius (8:38 am PST). Use this VOC Moon to get into the habit of connecting with the divine daily and observing the messages that come your way. [10:07] The Moon squares Neptune (Dec. 19, 7:41 pm PST). It's VOC for 1 hour, 11 minutes, then enters Capricorn (8:52 pm PST). Consider a quiet evening at home, doing something imaginative and restful. [11:12] Venus square Saturn (Dec. 20, 9:09 pm PST) at 25º37' Sagittarius-Pisces. Venus in aspect to Saturn often brings delays or disappointments, but sometimes the lesson is to have patience, and in the case of Saturn in Pisces, acceptance. [12:47] The Sun enters Capricorn (Dec. 21, 7:03 am PST). Happy Solstice! Happy Yule! Happy Midsummer! The Capricorn and Cancer solstices are a wonderful time for standing still, which is what solstice literally means: the Sun standing still. The Capricorn Solstice is the beginning of Capricorn season (Dec. 21, 2025 -Jan. 19, 2026). The Sun is lowest in the midday sky. There's no place to go but up. What is it that we want to accomplish? What mountain is it that we want to climb? [16:53] Listener Ivana asks about Full and New Moon natives. Check out Dana Gerhardt for more information on the lunar phases. The discussion also included a giveaway of a free copy of Sand Tanner’s book, Lighthouse, authored by Ronald Huggins. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3d0hOvJoXQc Don't miss our other conversations about Christmas: https://gospeltangents.com/lds_theology/christmas/ Copyright © 2025 Gospel Tangents All Rights Reserved The Great Dating Debate: When Was Christ Born? The discussion began by addressing the fact that the calendar we use today, created by the 6th-century monk Dionysius Exiguus. He mistakenly placed Christ's birth several years too late. There is no Year Zero. Modern scholars generally agree that Herod the Great died in 4 BC, a crucial historical marker, meaning Jesus could not have been born as late as 1 BC because Herod would have been dead for three or four years by then. Dr. Jeffrey Chadwick proposes that December of 5 BC is the correct birth month. However, Dr. Thomas Wayment argues that biblical writers like Matthew and Luke were composing gospels, not history, and were unconcerned with precise details, suggesting that historical data only allows us to know the date within a year or two, and certainly not within a specific month. Adding to the complexity is the mention of a census in Luke 2, which is historically problematic, as the census conducted by Quirinius (Cyrenius) is typically placed around 6 AD, about 10 years after Herod's death, creating a significant timeline contradiction. Explaining the Star of Bethlehem The question of what caused the Star of Bethlehem led to an examination of several astronomical and scientific theories, particularly in the context of both the Bible (Matthew 2) and the Book of Mormon (3rd Nephi 1). Information comes from several sources, including the 2004 documentary called Mystery of the Three Kings by Questar Entertainment. Planetary Alignment: Astronomer Michael Molnar proposed that the star was actually an occultation where the moon passed in front of Jupiter, a theory based on Babylon’s astrological beliefs concerning the birth dates of divine kings. Solar Eclipse: Another possibility, suggested by Jerry Grover, is a solar eclipse which occurred in 6 BC, a date near the proposed birth time. In Mesopotamia, eclipses were frequently associated with the rising of a new king or the death of an old king, which would explain why Herod was troubled. The eclipse was rare, rising in Mesoamerica and setting as a partial eclipse in Persia, where the Wise Men were thought to originate. Coronal Mass Ejection (CME): Grover also offered the idea of a CME (a massive ejection of plasma from the sun hitting Earth’s magnetosphere). This event could cause the northern lights (auroras) to become supercharged and move far south, appearing as “weird domes and other shapes in Mesoamerica”. This theory is particularly interesting because it could scientifically explain the Book of Mormon account that the night became “as light as day all night long” in the American Hemisphere, while the phenomenon might not have been noticed in the Middle East. Furthermore, the sign may have been accompanied by a crackling or hissing sound, as ions drop and release their charge in the atmosphere. Supernovas and comets are generally dismissed as options because they are either too short-lived or were historically seen as signs of impending doom. The Wise Men: Identity, Gifts, and Legacy The Wise Men (Magi or Magoi) were likely astrologers, healers, and dream readers from the east, specifically the Parthian/Persian Empire (modern Iran/Iraq area.) Their arrival in Jerusalem would have been concerning to Herod, especially since they were Persians entering Roman-controlled territory. The word Magoi is the same word used for magician or sorcerer. They may have been followers of the Zoroastrian religion, which is monotheistic and shares beliefs with Judaism, such as a belief in resurrection and a coming savior. Zoroastrian astronomers may have recognized the confluence of Jupiter and Saturn in 7 BC as a sign of a new king in Israel. The three traditional gifts carried profound meaning: Gold represented kingship. Frankincense represented divinity or God. Myrrh was extremely valuable (worth seven times the weight of gold) and represented healing; its use in embalming also served as a foreshadowing of Jesus's eventual death. The Magi are celebrated in many traditions, particularly in Spanish-speaking countries, where January 6th is known as Three Kings Day24,25. On this day, which occurs 12 days after Christmas, presents are exchanged, left by the Three Kings rather than Santa Claus. Legends regarding the Magi’s relics and tombs are found across the globe, including claims in Sava, Iran (recorded by Marco Polo); Axum, Ethiopia; Milan, Italy, and the most famous location in the West, the Cologne Cathedral in Germany. We gather with astrologer and intuitive Sarah Adams to trace the winter solstice from its Yule roots to today's lights, trees, and songs, and to learn how to turn the season's longest night into a personal reset. As the sun moves into Capricorn, we dig into Saturn's grounded wisdom: inventory the year, rebuild what matters, and create structures that actually support joy. Along the way, we uncover how Norse and Roman festivals shaped modern holiday traditions, why wassailing started as a rowdy invitation, and how a soft‑edged Santa became an advertising icon.Together we reconnect ritual with meaning. Sarah shares clear, do‑able practices to bring Yule into a modern home: a mindful cleanout where you name what you release; smudging to clear and bless; a simmer pot of orange, clove, and cinnamon; evergreens that honor endurance; and a final candle with a written intention for what you'll grow as the light returns. We revisit the Holly King and Oak King myth to feel the deep pattern of death and rebirth, and we widen the lens to global “festivals of light,” from Hanukkah to Kwanzaa, that keep hope burning when the air is sharp and the ground is hard.If you've felt the season tip toward pressure and purchases, this conversation offers a gentler center. We pair the science of the solstice with the soul of tradition, and we talk about why darkness restores us, how synchronicity can show up in small winter miracles, and what it means to choose a higher vibration when the calendar turns. Light is coming back, minute by minute. Let's meet it with intention, craft, and a little old magic. If this resonated, subscribe, share with a friend who loves the season's deeper side, and leave a review telling us your favorite solstice ritual.Support the show

This episode offers a grounded, emotionally resonant look at why 2025 carried so much heaviness — and what the astrology is signaling as we enter the fiery, forward-moving landscape of 2026. Astrologer KJ Atlas returns to the show to unpack the collective themes that shaped this year: the grief cycles so many have felt, the emotional density created by water-sign retrogrades, the slow-fast disorientation of 2025, and the “first quarter Moon” sensation of seeing the deeper impact of everything set in motion since 2020. KJ and Kehla explore the astrological events that defined 2025 — from the grand water trine, to Mars retrograde in Cancer, to the intense September eclipse season — and how these transits have been quietly reshaping our inner lives, our relationships, and our sense of direction. The conversation then opens into the seismic shifts of 2026: Neptune's once-in-a-lifetime move into Aries, Saturn joining it, February's powerful eclipse season, and the collective pivot into self-led momentum, clarity, independence, and creative fire. Together, they map out what entrepreneurs, creators, leaders, and sensitive beings can expect as the year unfolds. They also share a deeply honest moment from their own friendship — a vulnerable conversation around AI, integrity, and leadership — revealing how 2025 has demanded a level of truth-telling and relational depth from all of us. Their story highlights the very themes this year has surfaced: shedding, discernment, and strengthening what's built to last. Listeners will walk away with a clear understanding of: ✨ Why 2025 felt so dense and emotionally charged ✨ The major astrological transits shaping 2026 ✨ How February's eclipses will ignite momentum and reveal truth ✨ Why authenticity, discernment, and intentional community will define the new business landscape ✨ How to navigate Mercury retrogrades, Jupiter's shift, and the evolving collective energy This is the astrology forecast listeners have been craving — grounded, relatable, emotionally intelligent, and packed with cosmic clarity for the year ahead. ISAIAH WAS a wordsmith. And the Hebrew word he used translated “idols,” ʾĕlîlim, identifies the spiritual nature and origin of the idols he condemned. Dr. Christopher B. Hays, citing work of A. T. Clay published in 1907, identified the origin of ʾĕlîlim as the name of the Mesopotamian deity Ellil, which was the Akkadian form of the Babylonian/Sumerian god Enlil. As Derek documented in The Second Coming of Saturn, Ellil/Enlil was the equivalent of the Canaanite father-god El, and thus “the abomination of the Ammonites,” Milcom (i.e., Molech). He was also known as Assur, chief god of the Assyrians, Dagon of the Philistines, Kronos of the Greeks, Saturn of the Romans, and probably Osiris of the Egyptians, among others. We believe this entity is also Shemihazah, leader of the sons of God in Genesis 6, whose rebellion created the monstrous Nephilim, the spirits of which became demons upon their deaths in the Flood of Noah. Isaiah, then, was condemning not carved blocks of wood or stone, but the demonic spirits they represented—the “gods” of the pagans whom the kingdoms of Israel and Judah continued to worship. We'll see as we get deeper into the Book of Isaiah that the prophet understood the nature of the entities the Israelites were interacting with. The cult of the dead was alive and well in the time of Isaiah. Sharon's niece, Sarah Sachleben, has been diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer, and the medical bills are piling up.
