JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking for the latest podcast which drops today April 10!CAPRICORN MOON SQUARE THE ARIES SUN DEMANDS RESPONSIBLE—NOT RECKLESS—ACTION! We're right now still in the waning stages of the Pisces New Moon monthly lunar cycle which began on March 18. That's until we hit the Aries New Moon, which will occur on April 17 at 27'29” degrees of Aries at 4:52 am PT & 7:52 am ET next Friday, April 17.Between now & then, however, we're dealing still with the mission to grow into feeling greater empathy for our fellow humans. Challenged at the Libra Full Moon on April 1 to release any tendency toward going it alone by shunning the advice or support of allies, this waning third quarter square—known as a “crisis in consciousness”—relates to the tension between acting impulsively & understanding our responsibility to others. Therefore, the Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon, which represents “the people” in mundane astrology, now demands a stop to the unbridled, impatient, impetuous choices & actions made by the Mars-ruled Aries Sun (the leader) without consideration of the opinions or advice of its partners. The Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon also archetypally represents of “the judge,” the symbol of wisdom & justice. So, it's now at this third quarter waning lunar “crisis in consciousness” square that people are more consciously judging the consequences--& wisdom--of such a leader's actions. That's because it's now abundantly clear the U.S. acted independently of its NATO allies by waging war with Israel against Iran. And that such actions have proven impulsive, lacked strategic insight or well-defined achievable goals, & did not include not well thought out possible negative consequences. We are now at the point where people are demanding that the U.S. (& Israel by extension, since both are led by leaders who favor violent retribution rather than negotiation) sit down & act more responsibly. Especially since this is in keeping with the current month's lunar cycle's message of empathy. This third quarter square late on April 9/early April 10 was preceded by Mars' entrance into its own sign of Aries on April 9, so let me say a word or two about Mars in Aries. While Mars' entrance into its own sign of Aries increases the risk of impulsive action, it reminds us also of what are the highest & best uses of Mars' energies. And that—given that Mars' positive attributes include motivation, ambition, & assertion—the best use of Mars' energies relate to being motivated to come to the defense of, & protect, those weaker & less able to do so for themselves. Because the choice is always up to us, we can opt for hasty decisions that further our recklessness, or ones that are tempered by realizing negotiation doesn't mean surrender; rather it means the balancing of interests between parties.Given the general theme of the Pisces New Moon monthly lunar cycle as it wanes this week, we might understand that the upcoming Aries New Moon will give us the opportunity to do just that BECAUSE we've not grown those seeds of empathy for our fellow humans into a healthy enough plant by April 17.We'll talk more about that next week. However, right now we can see that this week brings--in addition to Mars entrance into Aries until he moves into Venus-ruled Taurus May 18—a plethora of Aries energy including the Sun, Saturn, Neptune, & Mars. That this will increase as the week goes on to include Mercury's move into Mars-ruled Aries on April 14, which may well create additional bombastic rhetoric for those who are already martially inclined. Implications include those who like to talk a lot—including those in power such as the U.S. Congress, which has a lot to consider as they return from their two-week recess on April 13, just after the Mars/Neptune conjunction in Aries late April 12/early April 13, depending on your time zone.Together, we've got a recipe for potential deceit by those who insist on rhetoric that feeds into what some of us may want to hear, but which lacks actual facts. In short, we're cautioned to be “careful of people who appeal to you through your favorite ideals or delusions and then take you for a ride,” as astrologer Rob Hand describes this aspect in his book “Planets In Transit.”By April 16 when the Sun conjoins wounded healer Chiron in Aries we may begin to see how our actions have wounded others, & how this annual cycle may allow us to promote healing—for both ourselves & othersAlso that day we have Mars in Aries sextiling Pluto in Aquarius, & we may see new plans replace old ones in ways that provide the opportunity for developing a clearer objective. That's probably most likely if we take this sextile's opportunity to engage in negotiations rather than trying to use it as an opportunity to gain more power over our opponents. When Mercury conjoins Neptune in Aries late April 16/early April 17, it will be more important than ever for us to rely on our critical thinking capabilities in order to discern between fact & fiction. While good for creative insights & artistic expressions—especially of the more subtle kind—this aspect a lack of honesty making any kind of negotiations & communication unclear & confusing in nature. That this is what will lead to the Aries New Moon April 17 can be seen also in the fact that there is bound to be a lot of frustration building between now & April 19 when Mars conjoins with Saturn in Aries. That's an aspect that denotes feeling like one is banging one's head against a brick wall. In Aries, it's particularly frustrating, which is likely the situation as the Aries New Moon begins a new monthly lunar cycle on April 17 as this Mars/Saturn energy is waxing.Join us for all this & more Astro News You Can Use @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking starting today! Lilith Untamed, healing the feminine, and a powerful week of astrologyThis week on the Mainly Moonology podcast, Yasmin is joined by astrologer Christina Rodenbeck, also known as the Oxford Astrologer. Together they explore the astrology of the week ahead and dive deep into one of astrology's most fascinating archetypes: Black Moon Lilith. If you're feeling intense emotions, powerful insights, or a push to make real changes in your life, the astrology this week may well explain why.The week begins with a beautiful and dreamy combination as Mars harmonises with Jupiter while the Sun meets Neptune. This energy can feel uplifting, imaginative and expansive. It's ideal for dreaming big, visualising what you want to create and reconnecting with your intuition. Just be mindful of over-indulgence, because Neptune energy can blur boundaries and make everything feel a little bit hazy.Later in the week the tone shifts as the Sun aligns with Saturn before forming a supportive connection with Pluto. This brings the perfect moment to move from dreaming to planning. Saturn helps us get serious, organise our ideas and create a strategy. Pluto then adds the power of transformation, encouraging us to take action and start making real changes. One of the most meaningful moments of the week comes when Venus meets Chiron, the wounded healer. This alignment invites us to look honestly at our relationships, our self-worth and our experiences of love. It can bring old wounds to the surface but also offers a chance for deep healing. In fact, this may be the final Venus-Chiron conjunction in Aries before Chiron leaves the sign, making it a symbolic moment for releasing long-held pain and choosing to move forward with greater self-understanding.The conversation then turns to the larger backdrop of the year: the powerful Saturn–Pluto sextile. These two planets working together can bring real momentum for change. Saturn represents discipline, structure and effort, while Pluto represents deep transformation and the clearing away of what no longer serves. When they cooperate like this, it's a reminder that meaningful change often comes through commitment and steady work. Finally, Yasmin and Christina explore Black Moon Lilith, the focus of Christina's new book Lilith Untamed. Lilith is not a physical body but a mathematical point in the Moon's orbit, often associated with the untamed, wild or rejected aspects of ourselves. Christina describes Lilith as the part of us that refuses to conform, the raw and instinctive side of human nature that may be hidden beneath social conditioning. The message for the week is clear: dream big, make a plan, do the work, and be willing to transform. JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking for the latest podcast which drops today March 20!This podcast discusses how, with Venus—the planet of love, beauty, natural resources, & relationships—in Mars-ruled Aries from March 6 through March 30, she has highlighted Earth's current dire plight vis-à-vis the depletion of its finite resources. We explore the bigger picture question here, which is: Is it possible that when we rise above politics we can more clearly see the current situation for what it realistically is--the fight to preserve our natural resources from extinction? We go beyond politics now as we watch the death & destruction caused by the fight over oil & gas since the attack on Iran by the U.S. & Israel has disrupted 20% of the world's flow of this finite resource.Could it be that Venus in the sign of the warrior is actually fighting back against such attacks on her precious earth? And that the current deprivation of oil & gas in the world right now is nothing more than an illustration of this fact? And is it possible that the precipitous rise in gas prices around the world right now is Mother Nature's way of telling us we need to move away from fossil fuels & toward the production of alternative power sources that do not endanger our precious beloved planet?MAKE LOVE NOT WARIs there a better way than going to war over the mining & use of finite resources which has hastened the destruction caused by climate change through the continuous--& yes, scientifically proven--rise in Earth's temperature? And might we not recognize--when we look at the current picture symbolically—the error of persisting on a path that will lead to future droughts, hurricanes, fires, floods, & other so-called “natural disasters”--that these are actually manmade? And, if so, that we can unmake them? Nothing screams so loudly at us now than the situation in the Gulf And nothing could be more obvious—to those who choose to pay attention—than that we are insisting on heading down the wrong path, at least here in America if not elsewhere. The current Gulf war, the cause of our immediate international economic woes—incited in part by America's current leader's obsession with oil & gas uber alles, at the expense of developing alternative power sources such as solar & wind—has thus far proven fateful indeed. So, is it possible that, given the economic situation the world currently finds itself in, including the downturn in the world's financial markets, that Venus in Aries is asking us now to finally see the light? And that the past betrayal of partners causes wariness & distrust, so that when we then ask those same partners to help rescue us, they don't exactly come running… VENUS IN ARIES: SEND MONEY, GUNS, & LAWYERSAs the world struggles to absorb & more consciously understand this bigger picture, its seems clear that the lack of human consciousness to mankind's current plight mistakes fighting as the way out, when nothing could be further from the truth. As reported in the Washington Post on March 17: “Trump fumes at NATO for refusing to help secure the Strait of Hormuz, and embraces going it alone…President Donald Trump says NATO and other allies have rejected his calls to help secure the Strait of Hormuz… “Trump's indignant response to allies' refusal to get involved in the war underscored that the conflict — now in its third week and causing reverberations across the global economy — is one the international community is looking to the U.S. leader to sort out himself after he launched it without consultation.“You would have thought they would have said, ‘We'd love to send a couple of minesweepers.' That's not a big deal,” Trump said. “It doesn't cost very much money. But they didn't do that.”While the question of economic affordability—meaning the ability of everyone on earth to not only survive, but to thrive—means little to those hellbent on destruction as a means of retribution, the world's people continue to suffer. And Mother Earth continue to weep…SUN ENTERS ARIES AT SPRING EQUINOX MARCH 20: ACTIONS RELATED TO FANTASY OR REALITY?The recent Pisces New Moon asked us to plant seeds that can grow into greater empathy for the plight of the world & all of its humans now. It's a “there but for the grace of God, go I” energy. One that reinforces for us that no man is an island, & that "each man's joy is joy to me, while each man's grief is my own," as the song goes. That this month's lunar cycle's message follows that of last month's Aquarius New Moon solar eclipse--which asked us to plant humanitarian forward thinking progressive energies that can save our planet from the kind of destruction we're seeing now--might be more obvious now in hindsight. In short, we were asked to leave behind any fixed ideological notions that take us backward instead of forward, & that seek the benefit the few over the many. The Sun's entrance now into Aries heralds the spring equinox in the northern & western hemiphere & foretells action. However, whether that action will be based on continued rejection of reality as the Sun conjoins Neptune on March 22 or acceptance of responsibility for what is real now by the time the Sun conjoins Saturn on March 25, remains to be seen.By the time we reach the first quarter “crisis in action” phase of this month's lunar cycle with the cardinal square of the Cancer Moon to the Aries Sun March 25--as we wax toward the conjunction of Venus to wounded healer Chiron in Aries March 26--the question becomes whether or not the plight of humans worldwide will be not only realistically recognized but dealt with…REMEMBER: THE BIGGER PICTURE REMINDS US TO KEEP THE FAITHThat all of this is occurring under the backdrop of the longer astrological cycles currently in play should by now be obvious. For example: The realignment of the international order under the waxing Saturn/Pluto cycle, the attacks on our seas & their bountiful resources under the new Saturn/Neptune cycle, & the repercussions for democracy worldwide under the already triggered U.S. Pluto return, all play a part right now.And then there's the waxing Jupiter/Saturn cycle, which traditionally symbolically foretells the death of the old & its replacement by the new. It's this latter cycle that might give us the most hope right now.Though hope at this spring equinox may be sorely lacking as farmers' seasonal planting may be forestalled by the deprivation of petroleum derived products such as fertilizer, again we know it's a call for change. We might note here, too, that Ceres, the dwarf planet representative of fertilization of crops, is squaring Pluto now, potentially bringing transformation to this process by slowing it down. But Ceres represents faith. And faith is most prevalent when we're properly fed & don't have to spend restless nights worrying about from where our next meal will come.We might note now, too, the May 19 conjunction in Aries of Chiron & Eris, the goddess of discord, chaos, & strife who, in Greek mythology instigated the Trojan War. So, it may help us to remember—despite our current dire seeming situation--that through the pain & disruption of it all, we might yet change course & navigate our way back onto the path of loving rather than abusing Mother Nature. If we're going to utilize the Saturn/Neptune in Aries foundation as this current Pisces New Moon monthly cycle waxes, it's best to use our imaginations now to break through the boundaries that prevent us from finding creative solutions to our current problems. That we might think outside the box with human empathy as our guide, we might yet stand a chance before it's too late…For more on all of this & additional Astro News You Can Use, tune in to https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking for the latest podcast which drops today March 20!See you then! Spring Equinox (2026) emerges with blessings from Mercury stationing direct, and a cosmic infusion from the North Node in Pisces. A new season of alignment is here, asking that we hold our trouble with the same care that we hold our hopes for the future. A portal of potential is opening, as the collective moves through a profound restructuring, coalescing with the Saturn-Pluto sextile. As witches, spiritual folk, and future ancestors, we are tasked with centering care, building networks rooted in healing, and casting spells for the liberation of all people. Currently, there are terrible oppressive forces enacting so much harm on a global scale, and we must face reality, honor our fears, while dreaming, rebuilding, and seeding fields of renewal. Witches to the front!
JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN for this & more Astro News You Can Use! @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking which drops today, January 16!There's safety in numbers, folks, that's what this Capricorn New Moon tells us now as it occurs at 28'44" Capricorn at 11:52 a.m. PT & 2:52 p.m. ET January 18! This Saturn-ruled lunation tells us it's time to get serious about being more responsibly focused on standing our ground, while it's earthy trines by both luminaries, Mercury, & Mars to Uranus--still Rx in Taurus--denote an easy path if we stick together now. Earthy practical Capricorn is known to be success oriented in terms of physical manifestation. If it's not practical, the Capricorn archetype doesn't want to waste time on pie-in-the-sky dreams with no possible way of becoming reality. The waning portion of the last monthly lunar cycle--which began with the Sagittarius New Moon on December 19--asked us to go deep about our true sense of what is moral, ethical, & just. The Cancer New Moon on January 3 then revealed with stark clarity exactly how much immortality & injustice exists in the world around us.This Capricorn New Moon tells us now that we must get serious about understanding this reality, and that the only recourse is to band together to stand firm against those who perpetrate such ethical violations & moral injustices. This lunation occurs in the U.S. natal Sibly chart's 2nd House of values & resources, & conjunct its natal Pluto at 27'33 Capricorn. So we KNOW we're being asked to empower this nation by drawing greater distinctions between our own true values and those of the powers that be—especially those who control our resources & finances now.Meanwhile this lunation's multiple trines to Uranus Rx in Taurus in the 12th House of the unconscious realm, beckon us to awaken to an easier pathway to resist those who are trying to impose their unwelcome (& unrealistic) set of values on us. And the Capricorn New Moon says their values are not lasting ones as they are impractical in nature & therefore—in the end—realistically unachievable.AQUARIUS SEASON HAS BEGUN: TIME TO SEE THE LIGHT & KNOW THAT TOGETHER WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL!Venus enters Aquarius January 17, and the Sun, Mercury, & Mars all follow suit on January 19, 20, & 23, respectively. After the past month of governmental initiated brute force used against those in cities across America, this influx of Aquarian energy frees us to think differently about how to combat such injustices now. It's clear in retrospect that the past week of tense squares by Venus, Sun, Mars, & Mercury in Capricorn to wounded healer Chiron & chaos bringer dwarf planet Eris in Aries manifested in violent actions against protestors (read: literal wounding.) This includes not only the death or Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis Minnesota on January 7, but the more recent wounding of others, including the young man in L.A. who's permanently blind in one eye now after being shot in the face with pepper balls by an ICE agent. The symbolism of this particular act of violence lies in the fact that Uranus has been retrograding from 29-degrees of Taurus—known as the Pleiades point which is associated with “blindness”—back to 27-degrees Taurus, a degree away from the fixed star Algol.Algol represents an “off with his head” energy as its meaning derives from Greek mythology's hero Perseus who slayed the snake-haired gorgon Medusa by cutting off her head & ending her ability to turn people to stone with her gaze. After Uranus stations direct again at 27'28” Taurus on February 3, it will once again hit the Pleiades point from early April through to April 25 when Uranus reenters Gemini. By then it's highly likely that even those who've been blind to the depths of the immorality of the people who run the U.S. government will begin to see the light. In addition, when Uranus again transits through 29 degrees of Taurus, it will affect those whose birth charts contain the fixed star Regulus at that degree. You know, folks like Donald Trump, who's 29'55” Leo Ascendant conjoins Regulus, known as the king maker & king breaker. That's because, while Regulus predicts the potential for reaching great heights of power, it also portends a huge fall from grace if one uses such power for evil ends such as retribution against perceived enemies. Trump clearly has no astrologer to guide him, else he'd have been forewarned not to act as he has since he became president a second time in January 2025.It's clear that group sentiment has been changing how they value Trump's actions in office thus far (Uranus Rx in Taurus.) You know, like his threat this past week to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807 which empowers the U.S. President to nationally deploy the U.S. military and to federalize the National Guard units of the individual states. That act allows the president to do this in specific circumstances, such as for the suppression of civil disorder, of insurrection, and of armed rebellion against the federal government of the U.S.Invoking this—along with Trump's other plans such his desire to increase ICE's funding, change mail-in election ballot rules, attempt to take over Greenland, & the confiscation & selling of seized Venezuelan oil & depositing the $500M proceeds in an offshore account, among so many others—will not sit well with Americans. And that displeasure is likely to make itself felt as Uranus once again reaches its square to his natal Regulus/Ascendant & Mars in April as the two political party's primaries will be well under way. While he's not on the ballot in November 2026, plenty of his Republican minions are. And it's not looking good for them—assuming we, the people, can stand together against such a tyrannical regime that's killing people in the streets, & detaining, jailing, & deporting others without due process. EMPOWERMENT VERSUS DISEMPOWERMENTEmpowerment becomes the word of this coming week as Venus, Mercury, the Sun, & Mars all conjoin with Pluto in Aquarius between January 19 & 27—especially since we may hear another (potentially surprising) announcement by the powers that be when the Sun conjoins Mercury in Aquarius between now & January 21.This sets off new synodic cycles which will eventually reach their peaks when Venus in Leo opposes Pluto on June 17, & the Sun follows suit July 26. Mercury does so on August 11, while the one to watch is the Mars opposition to Pluto in Aquarius on October 3. Bear in mind the latter will occur a month before the November 3, 2026, midterm elections, meaning after the party's nominees have slugged it out during the earlier primary period.Keep in mind also that during this period, by mid-October, transiting Mars in Leo will have conjoined with Trump's 12th H Pluto at 10 Leo, and will be headed for his natal Mars return, which occurs after the election on November 18.Empowering ourselves now against what's potentially to come IF it looks like Trump's party is losing power after November 3 may well involve bracing ourselves for dealing with an increasingly desperate, wounded, cornered animal. JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN for this & more Astro News You Can Use! @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking which drops today, December 12!This podcast reviews the energies inherent in the current monthly lunar cycle begun at the Scorpio New Moon opposite Uranus retrograde in Taurus on November 19/20, depending on your time zone. And how secrets released since have served to empower us as we saw more revealed since. And how now--since Neptune stationed direct December 10, December 11's “crisis in consciousness” waning third quarter monthly lunar square of the Virgo Moon to the Sagittarius Sun, & Mercury's reentrance into Sagittarius December 11—have revealed the tension between factually justifying wide ranging “wishful thinking” strategies that lack realistically detailed rationales. As we wax now toward the exact Mars/Neptune square on December 14, we might be mindful that this energy mimics the U.S. Sibly's chart natal Mars/Neptune square. And how that aspect conjures up images of the recently announced National Security Strategy (NSS) of U.S. withdrawal from NATO & alignment in general with former European allies.Reminiscent of the 1823 Monroe Doctrine, this newly announced NSS policy seeks to bring the U.S. back into an era of concern for western hemisphere dominance while reducing its formerly stated objective of allying with its European partners since WWII. In other words, the natal U.S. Mars/Neptune relates to the belief that exploration & inhabitation of the Americas included endless possibilities. That this is part of the waxing approximate 36-year synodic cycle which began when Saturn conjoined with Pluto in Capricorn on January 12, 2020, should be no surprise. That's because this cycle often heralds the beginning a new world order. In 1947's post WWII era, this cycle begun in Leo led to the formation of NATO & the U.S.'s commitment to partner with European nations to help maintain their future security. In hindsight now, the Saturn/Pluto cycle in Libra begun in late 1982 & early 1983 reflected the growing global concern with government austerity measures (read: Saturn-ruled Capricorn's archetypal association with financial success.) That such policies were adopted during the Reagan & Thatcher years in tandem in the U.S. & U.K. fiscal “starve the beast” governmental deregulation seems obvious now. This Saturn/Pluto cycle also foresaw the dissolution of the USSR in 1989 after the new Saturn/Neptune cycle began--an event that factored strongly into the reformation of a new international global alignment since putting America at the forefront of global politics. MERCURY IN SAGITTARIUS: NEWS, NEWS, & MORE NEWS REVEALING MORE & MORE SECRETS!The continued outpouring of astrologically related news since have highlighted where confusion has obfuscated ulterior motives (Neptune direct), where missing details may prevent achievement of a strategy's ultimate goal (Virgo/Pisces square & Mercury in Sagittarius.) including events related to law such as the dual-judge mandated release of grand jury information from the legal case of convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell & Jeffrey Epstein's 2008 case. Also included is the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia from detention by a judge who also prevented his rearrest on December 12 in Maryland based on declaring that immigration officials cannot re-detain him until the court conducts a hearing on the motion for the temporary restraining order.Next we have the recent Supreme Court “shadow docket” decision allowing Texas's state gerrymander to continue through the 2026 midterms. Along with that comes the realization--a la the revelations revealed since this month's Scorpio New Moon opposite Uranus in Taurus--that race-based voter disenfranchisement is allowable in a democracy. Yep, what's come up from the Scorpionic depths that may surprise many who live here is that the U.S. is still a racist society, often protected by continued racist legal high court decisions. We have also the release now of additional Epstein information, including previously unseen photographs of high profile people such as Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Larry Summers, & more, hanging out in close contact with pedophiles Jeffrey Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell. This as we wait to see whether more Epstein will be released by the Congressionally mandated date of December 19.Given that the Sagittarius Full Moon occurs that day, & that the Sadge Moon, Sun, Juno (the partner), & Venus all quincunx Uranus retrograde in Taurus then, it's highly likely we'll see some adjustment to which partnerships we'll continue to value into the future--& which ones we'll leave behind. Join us starting December 12 for more on all of this astro news you can use, including more on the Mars/Neptune square followed by Mars entrance into Capricorn December 14 & 15, the Sun/Saturn mutable square December 16, & the meaning of the Sagittarius New Moon December 19!
https://enlighteninglife.com/octobe-2025-energy-report/The first thing I noticed about October is the double 10 energy. October is the 10th month and October 2025 is a 10 (10 + 2025 = 10). Remember in numerology you break numbers down to single digits between 1 and 9. After the double 9 of September, which created completion, closure, and release, October's 10 energy means action, movement, and reclamation. 10 is the staff of action, 1, with the 0 of potential. 0 is not ‘nothing', it is no thing, pure potential waiting for us to set an intention for energy to manifest. And one more thing about October, in the midst of the action, the month opens with the moon in Capricorn, harkening back to the heavy Capricorn action we had from 2020 to 2024 with both Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn and the infamous Saturn/Pluto conjunction of March 2020. This is not a dire prediction of bringing back the restrictions, evil, and 3D energies of that time. Rather it's time for reckoning, not reconciliation and I believe that in October we are going to see many examples of reckoning and retribution.October's full moon on the 6th is a call to action, taking us from the heavy lessons of Virgo and Pisces in August and September to the bold, brave action of Aries with some cautions. It is not the time to go blasting off into the stratosphere; rather, it's time to make careful plans and focus on elevation, rather than escape. Take the careful planning of Virgo, together with the highest potential of Pisces and use that to plan deliberate, intentional action. JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ FOR THIS WEEK'S ASTROLOGICALLY SPEAKING PODCAST WHICH DROPS AUGUST 22 @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking. As we approach the Virgo New Moon at 0'23” Virgo at 11:07 p.m. PT August 22 & 2:07 a.m. ET August 23, we're asked to plant seeds that allow us to take care ourselves, so we can remain healthy enough to then be of service to others. This is an especially important message now because, in addition to the Sun's entrance into Virgo & the Virgo New Moon today, we've got another one coming on September 21--which also happens to be a solar eclipse! And, in addition, the transiting nodal axis's Virgo South Node has been in play since January 2025 & will last until July 2026, asking us to let go of the Virgo archetype's less than desirable traits. In short, we've got a whole lotta Virgo goin' on! This podcast takes a deep dive into all things Virgo-related, including its positives, negatives, & this archetypes' correlation with sacred geometry & numerology, & the mathematical belief that nature & the universe are all part of a perfectly divine order. The Mercury-ruled Virgo archetype includes, among other things, understanding that we're not on this earth to strive for perfection because, well, if the universe is already perfectly designed & we are part of that perfect design, then we're ALREADY PERFECT!Thinking we need to constantly strive to reach a level of perfection denies this universal belief. And that means continually striving for perfection proves antithetical to our understanding of ourselves & the world around us. That's because the concept that there is such a thing as “perfection” only causes feelings of inadequacy which, in turn, produces feelings of shame & guilt since we'll inevitably believe we've always fallen short in the end. That this Virgo New Moon follows last month's Leo New Moon lunar cycle which asked us to recognize our special uniquely creative talents as an individual, we're asked now to recognize that as individuals we need to remain as healthy as possible. And that means physically (Virgo is an earth sign, after all), mentally (Virgo is ruled by Mercury), emotionally, & spiritually. Isn't it better to understand we are all different from each other & therefore each of us is perfect in his or her own way? And, once we've realized this, we can then make headway toward taking better care of ourselves now so that we have what it takes to take care of others when the time comes. This podcast discusses the importance of the Virgo archetype to us all right now. We look at the benefits of realizing that we're all part of the divine universal order & therefore perfect—even in all our imperfections. And how continuing to strive for perfection simply obscures & delays our knowledge that we are already there…So, we're reminded now that we cannot be imperfect beings if we are one with a universal energy that comprises the geometric perfection of nature & everything in it. Think: Golden ratio; the Fibonacci sequence, & the symbolic nature of numbers which form astrological divisions of the circle, & numerical aspects between planets, etc., & you'll begin to conceptualize the importance of the earthy Virgo archetype as a means to better understand not only the world around us but ourselves. The currently transiting Virgo SN, however, has been asking us since January of this year to let go of Virgo's shadow side archetypal energies, which include being overly critical, & the feelings of shame & guilt as a result of feeling inadequate when we fall short of being “perfect.” We're witnessing this shadow side obsession with perfection here in the U.S. right now as we watch anyone deemed “imperfect” being jailed, deported, or otherwise abused within the collective. Name calling & labeling (read: categorizing) for the purpose of weeding out imperfection is nothing more than a negative Virgoan trait that deprives those deemed as “others” to be considered less than human therefore not deserving of dignity or rights. Similarly, the focus on numbers right now highlights how statistical data can be used to manipulate—especially when such data is “faked” by those who want people to believe that “nothing is but what is not,” as Shakespeare wrote.TIME TO CHANGE OLD BELIEFS & RAISE OUR CONSCIOUSNESSThis Virgo New Moon is accompanied by a mutable square of both luminaries in Virgo to Uranus in Gemini, which the Sun perfects on August 24. We're likely to experience a sudden change of some kind then, perhaps including a sudden announcement from a prominent person, given that all planets involved are now transiting through a Mercury-ruled sign.Meanwhile, we explore the deeper meaning of the yod forming too from the Virgo Moon & Sun to both Saturn & Neptune in Aries & Pluto in Aquarius, as well as that of the sextiles between Saturn & Neptune to Pluto. The Saturn/Pluto sextile presents us all with the opportunity to “understand the forces that make you an individual,” according to astrologer Rob Hand in his book “Planets in Transit.” “You know exactly what you can demand of yourself, and you push yourself to the limit, but not beyond,” under this influence, he explains. “Consequently, this can be a time of great achievements.” Focused energy is recommended so that your “energy hits exactly the right target,” Hand advises. This applies both to internal & external work, he adds. Combined with the longer-term Neptune/Pluto sextile—which has been around off & on since 1950 & will be strong again from 2026 through 2032-- we're starting to see “larger forces for social change” happening around us that may ultimately “prove that beliefs and opinions you have held all your life are invalid,” agrees Rob Hand. Therefore, “this is an opportunity to clear away the deadwood in your brain & start over again,” he concludes. Since both NE & PL are known as collective planets, this bodes well for society in general, as does the UR/PL airy trineWhen Venus enters Sun-ruled Leo August 25, we've got a prouder louder orientation toward our partnerships, but also the potential to forget about those we don't feel are worthy of our love, respect, or attention. And when Venus then opposes Pluto in Aquarius August 26/27, depending on your time zone, the astrological recipe changes to one of potential emotional manipulation. Emotions intensify if/when we realize we're being forced to submit to the power of a group opposed to our individual freedoms. However, as Uranus waxes toward its exact sextile Neptune on August 28, we've the opportunity to rise above—or to use--this intensity to help open our minds to higher levels of consciousness. That's because between now and then we may begin to transform our ideals, aims, & objectives, according to Rob Hand. “As your consciousness evolves, you will begin to associate with others whose views are similar, so that you can reinforce & strengthen each other's insights,” he notes. The bottom line is that this particular sextile helps us rise above orthodox religion & other more mundane Saturnine-type belief systems & allows us to benefit from a more spiritual understanding of our world through metaphysics such as astrology. This is because more rigid analyses of the world will not suffice now. And this jibes as well with the yod formed at this Virgo New Moon whose outlet point is the 9th H (under expansive Jupiter's natural rulership) in Neptune-ruled Pisces, which includes the expansion of collective empathy.Tune in for all this & more Astro News You Can Use--There's a lot to unpack here, so be sure to have a listen! @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking starting today, August 22!See you later! OIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ FOR THIS WEEK'S ASTROLOGICALLY SPEAKING PODCAST WHICH DROPS AUGUST 1 @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speakingThis podcast explores how the sexual scandal emanating from Jeffrey Epstein's pedophilia and trafficking of underage girls has gained traction within the collective since the Leo New Moon opposite Pluto in Aquarius monthly lunar cycle began July 24. And how now at the first quarter monthly lunar square's “crisis in action” of the Scorpio Moon/Leo Sun square on August 1 tension around this subject grows.Meanwhile, we look at wounded healer Chiron's retrograde in Aries on July 30 & explore what's occurred in the collective since, along with how Venus's entrance into Cancer that day has led to expressions of compassion for those who suffer. Take, for example, the declaration by the 22 League of Arab Nations at the U.N. for Hamas to end its rule in Gaza, hand over its weapons to the Palestinian Authority, & with international engagement and support, align with the objectives of a sovereign and independent Palestinian state,” that was signed by all 27 European Union states and 17 other countries on July 30. Coincidence or not, this was the day that wounded healer Chiron stationed retrograde & Venus entered compassionate, nurturing, Moon-ruled Cancer—which puts the current focus on children. As in the victims or sex trafficking AND the starving children in Gaza due to Israel & the U.S.'s insufficient method of distributing food aid there to date.July 31's Sun/Mercury retrograde's inferior function in Leo also led to the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump of a new tariff deadline of August 7 for most nations who trade with the U.S.. Part of the Saturn/Pluto in Capricorn cycle's global realignment begun in January 2020, this announcement seeks to make the U.S. more isolationist rather than more committed to its previous global trade partners. It also has seriously negative implications for the U.S. economy as a revised job report shows a decrease in unemployment and a rise in the rate of inflation. We take a deeper dive into the meaning of this Sun/Mercury Rx inferior function during this podcast, which many will find enlightening, so have a listen as it's implications are for our personal lives, too…Meanwhile, Mars will enters Venus-ruled Libra August 6, posing the potential for some new negotiations that may better balance the scales in terms of global agreements on things like, you know, tariffs. Or at least we might hope so..."ONLY MAD DOGS AND ENGLISHMEN GO OUT IN THE NOON DAY SUN." ~ Attributed to Rudyard Kipling, but origin unverified…We examine also the current heliacal rising of fixed star Sirius (the Great Dog, or Canus Major) between July 3 & August 11 & its mythological roots, including that when Sirius rises in conjunction with the sun, the ancients believed this combination of the sun during the day and the star Sirius at night was responsible for the extreme heat during mid-summer.”In Greek mythology, Sirius was linked to the faithful hunting dog of Orion. Hellenistic astrology connected this period with heat, drought, sudden thunderstorms, lethargy, fever, mad dogs, and bad luck, & the hottest, most uncomfortable part of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. Astrologically, however, it's associated with success, leadership, and passion, while also being a source of inspiration and a warning against unchecked power. Hmm, “unchecked power,” eh? Now who do we think of when we hear that phrase, especially as the current Saturn/Neptune pair run close together in Aries right now, proactively dissolving previously solid foundational structures?Like in the U.S. Government, for example, as a compliant GOP-ruled Congress obeys in advance & kowtows to the executive branch, & the judicial branch struggles to maintain its previous independence out of respect for, & adherence to, its legal decisions. We explore more about this during this podcast…Finally, we explore the deeper meaning of the Aquarius Full Moon's call on August 9 to release any attachment to an aggrandized sense of self-worth & value at the expense of freedom for groups of individuals that would better mirror Aquarius's quest for humanitarian progress. Expect some dissonance later this month as this lunation—which has the Aquarius Moon reflecting the light of the Leo Sun back to itself, revealing its shadow side—squares Juno (the wife or partner) in Scorpio. It pays to remember that “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” as we follow the progress of the case of convicted sex trafficker & perjurer Ghislaine Maxwell as she begs for the Supreme Court's attention to her case, which they have agreed to “discuss” in September. ! JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ https://www.karmic evolutionary com/astrologically-speaking This week's podcast discusses how the U.S. Pluto return has brought us to the point where people protesting in the streets against the “disappearance” of people under the orders of the government-sanctioned Immigration & Customs Enforcement agency may well mark the beginning of the recurrence of the American Revolution. This podcast discusses all that's occurred as we continue to wax toward the exact Mars/Uranus & Jupiter/Saturn squares on June 15. And how that includes President Trump's use of the Los Angeles protests to justify usurping California's Governor Gavin Newsom legal authority to call in first that state's national guard, and then the federal marines. That we are in a recurrence of the time of the birth of this nation, and since the exact Pluto return to its natal place in the U.S. Sibly birth chart, seems more undeniable than ever now. This podcast explains how recurrent energies work and highlights how the events of the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol insurrection a year before the first exact Pluto return conjunction on February 20, 2022, set the U.S. into revolutionary motion. We further discuss the transits & progression to the U.S. chart on January 6, and how the “big lie” by sore loser Donald Trump created illusion, confusion, & delusion of millions in this nation by the time of the U.S. progressed lunar new moon on March 25, 2024. This occurred in Pisces in the nation's 3rd House of communication, & seems to correlate with the lies & conspiracy theories swallowed hook line & sinker by millions who were deceived into believing a second Trump presidency would be anything like the first. We look, too, at where the U.S. progressed Moon is now, as it approaches a conjunction to our natal 7th House Venus, Jupiter, & Sun, all in Moon-ruled Cancer. And how, since Mercury & Jupiter entered sensitive, nurturing, protective Cancer on June 8 & 9, respectively, & as we approach the June 15 Jupiter/Saturn waxing square, we've seen emotions expand in reaction to actions taken by a tyrannical wannabe dictator against his own citizenry.“It feels as if the underbelly of the entire country is now on full view,” Eddie Glaude, Jr., Princeton University academic & political pundit recently stated. In doing so, he aptly sums up the nature of Pluto's current energies, that of exposing all our dirty laundry—not to mention this nation's history of political dirty tricks—to the surface for all to see. What's been made clear since the June 11 Sagittarius Full Moon—which formed a mutable cross to the transiting nodal axis—is that we must eschew the more myopic perspective for a much larger, bigger picture understanding of what's actually happening now.And that's especially true as we wax toward the explosive nature of Mars in Leo's square to Uranus in Taurus, best exemplified right now not only by the sudden martial actions taken against U.S. citizens by its own government, but internationally as well.Though not covered in this podcast since it occurred post recording, we know now that Israel has bombed Iran's capital and killed several prominent leaders there, including those in charge of its nuclear program. This, not only as we approach the exact Mars/Uranus square, but also as transiting Mars quincunxes the U.S. natal Pluto. Ya can't get more of a plutonic message than that, between what's going on here and the U.S.'s pre-knowledge of Israel's actions, since the government moved many Americans out of its nearby embassies in the Middle East.As the Saturn/Neptune in Aries dance continues, we're also seeing far more instability not only in the U.S., but worldwide. Today marks a day when the waxing Saturn/Pluto synodic cycle, begun on January 12, 2020, continues to illustrate a global realignment of power. We sit on the potential doorstep of WWIII and wait and watch to see how Iran will make good on its threat to retaliate.Meanwhile, all eyes are on the military parade in Washington, D.C., on Trump's BD June 14, as all this chaos now swirls around not only the U.S. but the world. Will something sudden happen that involves the military? Will the troops who've been assigned to this parade and to California be needed elsewhere while they're distracted by being in D.C.?As for the pending June 15 Jupiter/Saturn, this podcast discusses how the mythological battle between Jupiter (Zeus) & Saturn is one between the old & the new, the old & the young. We're seeing this play out now in American politics as Democrats resist allowing older Congressional incumbents to be primaried by younger people. We're also seeing the tension between established law (Jupiter) & authorities who want to bypass those laws to achieve their immediate aims. It's here that the Saturn/Neptune in Aries energy comes into play, as it dissolves the boundaries of foundational structures. The question is whether pushback against dismantling foundational constitutional norms will succeed or be overthrown.Tune in for all this Astro News & More--& there's lots to discuss @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speakingwhich drops June 13 at 11 a.m. PT & 2 pm. JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ FOR THIS WEEK'S ASTROLOGICALLY SPEAKING PODCAST WHICH DROPS MAY 23 @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking This week's podcast begins with a look at the chart of former president Joe Biden since his shocking prostate cancer diagnosis was announced May 18, just after the exact Sun/Uranus conjunction in Taurus on May 17. We take a deep dive into his horoscope, starting with his Progressed Lunar New Moon @ 1'30 Aquarius on May 5, 2019, through to the previous & current opposition to his 12th House Scorpio Sun by Uranus in Taurus as it transits his 6th House of health. We posit that Biden's journey from winning the presidency in 2020 & helping restore America to full health during the Covid-19 pandemic, to his current announcement of metastasized cancer, symbolizes the current “ill health” of the U.S. In other words, that Biden's sudden shocking announcement of previously unknown cancer is awakening Americans to the same "weakening" as part of the trajectory occurring within their nation. How do we know this? Because we're under the auspices now of the current Pluto return triggered essentially since the January 6, 2021, assault on the Capitol, which occurred a year before its exact return in February 2022. An insurrection incited & caused by sore loser Donald Trump in the November 3, 2020, presidential election based on false claims of election fraud—just as we approached the new Jupiter/Saturn synodic cycle on December 31, 2020, at 0'30” AQ which foretold a change in leadership. We look at how the Pluto return is annihilating the former legal rights of individuals here in conjunction with the current transiting Jupiter square to the transiting nodal axis, particularly to the Virgo South Node. And how the Mercury-ruled Virgo archetype affects our health as related to the recently passed reconciliation bill in the U.S. House of Representative which seeks “perfection” through numbers to balance the budget, yet attempts to do so by denying average citizens their previous right to government-funded health care. And that's just the tip of the iceberg, as the House bill now goes to the Senate as we approach Saturn's entrance into Mars-ruled Aries on May 24 & the Gemini New Moon & Chiron/Eris conjunction in Aries on May 26. Whether the Senate discusses reducing the health burden the House placed on individuals to pay more to take care of their health needs or not remains to be seen. But one thing is clear: The Saturn ingress into Mars--as Saturn begins his slow journey toward an exact conjunction to Neptune in Aries on February 26, 2026--we have the opportunity to awaken to the amount of wounding & chaos already caused under the guise of “fiscal responsibility.” This hypocritical claim by the U.S. Congress persists despite the fact that the current legislation wants to extend tax cuts for corporations and the rich at the expense of those in the lower income brackets to the tune of increasing our national debt by $3.8 Trillion over the next decade. That this has weakened our previous alliances & global partnerships—part and parcel of the waxing Saturn/Pluto 36-year cycle in Capricorn begun on January 12, 2020--becomes obvious as we're also still under the auspices of the currently waxing Jupiter/Saturn cycle in Aquarius begun December 31, 2020.We look at the prescient words of renowned astrologer Stephen Arroyo written in 1984 about the meaning of the change from 200 years of Jupiter/Saturn cycles in earth to air, the latter of which began in 1980 in Libra. Join us to learn more about what this “grand mutation” has meant between then & now, despite the 2000 conjunction in earth again & its return to the air element for the long term in 2020. (Hint: It concerns the “reestablishment of old-style capitalism,” & the redistribution of wealth from the poorest to the richest.) Now, as we approach Saturn's entrance into Aries, we might look at the bright side of this otherwise potentially frustrating & depressing combination of archetypal energies. On the one hand, we have the potential for an increasingly slow reduction of our rights to free speech (& more), & the resulting depression that can set in when we think we have no recourse but to bury the frustration of being told to shut up and take it.However, on the other hand, we can use this transit to devise carefully thought out long-term plans to regain our rights. Saturn in Mars-ruled Aries can slow the warrior's roll just enough to avoid impatient or impetuous moves & to direct our energies toward succeeding through hard work. The 6'06” Gemini New Moon, at 8:02 p.m. PT & 11:02 p.m. ET on May 26, can help us plant seeds to gain new perspectives by listening to the facts. Since Gemini likes to collect & pass information, but not to analyze it for conclusions, we can use our mental adaptability to consider alternative viewpoints now about what's causing our current state of chaos and how it's wounded us. The Gemini archetype is related to tactics. However, it's Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius, its archetypal opposite energy, that plans overall strategy. So, in the short term now, we can begin to discuss how to plan to regain our rights in the future, courtesy of Saturn's entrance into Mars. The upcoming Sun/Mercury conjunction in Gemini, occurring late on May 29/early May 30, depending on your time zone, may reveal more information from on high in the form of a major announcement of some kind. And this, in turn, may further awaken us to how much the recent discord & chaos has wounded us--via wounded healer Chiron's conjunction to dwarf planet Eris in Aries-- & how we've seemingly been stymied over the past few months by chaos-induced inertia. Greetings and welcome to Scorpio season! I am pleased to connect with you from Bangkok and extend my warm regards. You may have noticed that I am using a new platform for this newsletter, complete with a refreshed design and format. I invite you to listen to the introduction on the latest podcast episode, where I share the inspiration behind these changes. For those who have been with me since 2020 or during the Soul Tending days, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support. Your openness to this new chapter is truly valued and appreciated. As we embrace the transformative energy of Scorpio season, I feel it's important to shift our focus from the usual thematic analyses to the key transits that can shed light on your unique natal chart and personal experiences. My goal is to offer compassionate guidance as we navigate the changes happening around us, all while honoring the path of your soul. For a deeper understanding of how these transits can aid you, I encourage you to tune in to the podcast. Below, I've included a short version of what I shared in this episode.Key Transits:SUN* Sun enters Scorpio, October 22: The Sun serves as a crucial source of light, illuminating both evident truths and the more nuanced aspects of our consciousness. Scorpio is associated with the exploration of intimacy by revealing psychological secrets or hidden wounds and traumas that may lead to suppressions and taboos. This transformative process can foster a deeper understanding of ourselves, which is foundational for forming meaningful and intimate one-on-one relationships. As the Sun transitions through Scorpio from October 22nd to November 20th, we are encouraged to recognize and address our emotional wounds and traumas. Engaging in this inner work can be challenging, but it also offers the potential for healing and personal growth, guiding us toward strength and resilience. You are not alone in this endeavor; this journey is about discovering light in even the most difficult moments alongside those we hold dear.* Sun in Scorpio opposite Uranus Rx in Taurus, November 16: This intense astrological aspect reflects a significant shift in the financial dynamics of our relationships, driven by larger global circumstances. We are navigating some profound changes with Pluto in Capricorn guiding the Sun in Scorpio and Venus in Capricorn influencing Uranus in Taurus. Saturn retrograde in Pisces is pivotal, steering both Pluto and Venus. Additionally, Neptune retrograde at 27° Pisces guides Saturn while forming a supportive sextile with Uranus at 25° Taurus and Pluto at 29° Capricorn. As most outer planets take a retrograde path, we are encouraged to slow down and communicate thoughtfully. This period asks us to act responsibly and engage only when it's truly necessary as we come together to envision a future marked by peace and prosperity.MOON* Scorpio New Moon, November 1st: The New Moon at 9° Scorpio unfolds at 5:47 am PDT, inviting us to explore our vulnerabilities and inner truths with compassion. Guided by Mars in Cancer, the Scorpio New Moon encourages us to reflect on how we might be unintentionally harming ourselves through actions driven by unhealthy emotional habits such as relying on substances, toxic relationships, or other false comforts. It's a powerful moment for transformation, allowing us to shift our approach to nurturing—moving away from defensiveness and towards sensitivity and gentleness. This New Moon forms a close trine with Saturn Rx in Pisces, emphasizing the importance of emotional resourcefulness. It reminds us that we can create deeper connections between our intimate relationships and our spiritual selves, fostering a nurturing environment for our hearts and souls.* Taurus Full Moon, November 15th: The Full Moon arrives as the Sun at 24° Scorpio opposes the Moon at 24° Taurus at 1:28 pm PST. This lunar phase brings a unique contrast between the peace-loving Taurus Moon and the emotionally intense Scorpio Sun. This opposition is particularly powerful, especially with the Sun also facing off with Uranus Rx in Taurus as the Moon forms a harmonious sextile with Neptune Rx in Pisces. This lunation marks the culmination of emotional experiences that began during the New Moon in Taurus six months ago, on May 7th.MERCURY* Mercury in Scorpio opposite Uranus Rx in Taurus, October 30: The messenger Mercury, in a heartfelt dialogue with the revolutionary Uranus at 25°, reflects a significant moment in our relationship. Their conversation mirrors the struggles many of us face—financial constraints that can lead us to explore deeper psychological patterns and have complex discussions about issues like economic inequality, which are magnified by the ongoing wars and climate change. As we navigate this challenging landscape, Mercury encourages us to engage in candid conversations about the root causes of poverty and to examine our scarcity mindsets.* Mercury enters Sagittarius, November 2: In Sagittarius, Mercury is farthest from its home sign, Gemini. This position may present challenges in fully expressing our communication and networking skills. There may be a tendency to become immersed in abstract philosophical concepts. It is essential to remain mentally grounded and focused through a practical mindset. However, Mercury in Sagittarius transit is an opportune time to integrate both mind and heart and engage with intuitive capabilities, fostering a balanced approach to navigate this period effectively. By harmonizing intuitive insights with rational thought processes, we can pursue healing, explore creative potential, and uncover deeper truths. Collectively, these measures can facilitate a productive path toward a greater understanding of ourselves and the world.VENUS* Venus in Sagittarius square Saturn Rx in Pisces, October 28: Venus makes significant aspects with the outer planets—Saturn, Jupiter, and Neptune from October 28th to November 9th. During this period, we may encounter valuable lessons regarding our connections. The square to Saturn on October 28th may present some challenges, urging us to align with values that genuinely support our physical and emotional well-being. These core values transcend lofty ideals, connecting instead to our sensory experiences. Engaging with simplicity and nature can help us navigate the myriad of choices, allowing our natural preferences to emerge more freely. Take a look at which house 12° - 27° Sagittarius occupies in your chart, as this area may require attention through the Saturnian practices of slowing down, simplifying, and approaching life with patience, practicality, and devotion.* Venus in Sagittarius opposite Jupiter Rx in Gemini, November 3: We might find ourselves facing relationship dynamics influenced by complex ideas that warrant careful examination. To foster clarity and avoid misunderstandings, it's essential to engage thoughtfully and avoid becoming entangled in negativity. Following this aspect, Venus will form a trine with Chiron Rx in Aries, creating an opportunity for healing through physical movement. If challenges in communication or relationships arise, consider taking moments throughout the day to refresh your mind through physical activity.* Venus in Sagittarius square Neptune Rx in Pisces, November 9th: This challenging aspect highlights the importance of mental respite through physical relaxation. Balancing our mental activities with nurturing both body and spirit is crucial. Cultivating a sense of inner nourishment allows us to express selfless love while maintaining healthy personal boundaries and self-care.* Venus enters Capricorn, November 11: This brief three-week transit highlights a significant shift in personal values influenced by the evolving political and financial landscape, marking the concluding phase of Pluto's sixteen-year journey through Capricorn. It symbolizes a transitional moment for an entire generation, as Pluto will not revisit Capricorn for the next 248 years. Consequently, it is an opportune time to embrace the lessons that Capricorn offers, particularly in areas related to Venus—such as business relationships, social and political discourses, and long-term partnerships.* Venus in Capricorn square North Node in Aries, November 14th: The square to the Node of Destiny presents an opportunity for Venus in Capricorn to transition from an emphasis on material values to a deeper consideration of what nourishes the soul. This shift is pivotal in moving beyond victimhood and scarcity mindsets, allowing us to take the lead in our own lives while inspiring others to pursue their individual paths. It is worth noting that some leaders may exhibit behaviors that reflect wounded masculine energy, often resorting to dramatic measures to express their frustrations. By cultivating self-awareness and fostering effective communication within our communities, we can collectively work towards manifesting our destinies rather than being influenced solely by external authority or popular opinion.MARS* Mars in Cancer opposite Pluto in Capricorn, November 3: Mars and Pluto are recognized as co-rulers of the deeply insightful sign of Scorpio. From October 2024 to January 2025, these two formidable planets find themselves in opposition, with Mars embodying courage and Pluto representing transformation. Notably, Mars will enter a retrograde phase from December 6 to February 23, 2025, culminating in another precise opposition to Pluto on January 2nd while retrograding in Leo. Before this extended interaction with Pluto, Mars will form a sextile with Uranus Rx in Taurus on October 24th, followed by a trine with Neptune Rx in Pisces on October 28th. These positive aspects can provide inspiration for creative solutions that enhance emotional security through innovative financial approaches and intuitive insights, positioning Mars in Cancer, the sensitive warrior, to navigate the lessons presented by Pluto.* Mars enters Leo, November 3: Following Mars' opposition to Pluto before sunrise, Mars transitions from Cancer to Leo at 8:09 PM PDT. This shift into Leo will be significant, as the duration of this transit is extended due to Mars retrograding back to 17° Cancer before resuming direct motion on February 24, 2025, and ultimately leaving Leo on April 18, 2025. During its extended stay in Cancer, Mars plays a vital role in helping us transform past emotional challenges into present-day psychological strength that bolsters our openheartedness and enthusiasm. The two-month period in Leo, from November 3rd to January 6, 2025, offers Mars a more uplifting experience and invites us to embrace creative joy by engaging in heartfelt and fun activities such as arts, hobbies, games, and romantic pursuits.JUPITER* Jupiter Rx in Gemini sextile Chiron Rx in Aries, November 2: As Jupiter moves through Gemini, it offers us a compassionate invitation to embrace change and pursue new opportunities for learning and connection. At the same time, Chiron reminds us to recognize any obstacles that may be draining our vitality and affecting our well-being. This meaningful interaction between Jupiter's adaptable energy and Chiron's healing presence, both in retrograde, encourages us to slow down and engage in a period of self-reflection. It's a perfect moment to take the time we need to fully process information before stepping forward with confidence. SATURN* Saturn stations direct, November 15: The wise grandfather Saturn, positioned in the spiritual realm of Pisces, serves as a gentle guide as we navigate the transformative energies of Pluto in Capricorn and Aquarius. In a time filled with rapid societal changes and technological advancements, it's vital to find spiritual steadfastness. Since Saturn went retrograde on June 29th, many of us may have felt a sense of heaviness and sluggishness over the past 5 1/2 months. The ongoing U.S. election season, along with the conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, can leave us feeling caught in a collective impasse. This environment may heighten our sense of responsibility and lead to feelings of disconnection from our purpose, creating a struggle with motivation. For those who have been attuned to Saturn's call, the last few months have been a valuable time for conserving energy and nurturing the spirit through rest and exploration of dreams, all while handling worldly duties. As Saturn prepares to station direct on November 15th, there is a wonderful opportunity for renewing our commitment to self-mastery and spiritual growth.PLUTO* Pluto enters Aquarius, November 19: For the last 16 years, as Pluto has traversed Capricorn, we've witnessed a significant shift in our priorities. Many of us have moved away from a strong focus on career and personal achievement, and have begun to prioritize mental health and soul fulfillment. The Great Resignation, often viewed as a byproduct of the pandemic, connects astrologically to the 2020 Saturn-Pluto conjunction and took off in 2021. This global event has had a lasting impact, leading to collective job loss and career changes, giving many of us the space to pause and realign our lives. It's a chance to rethink our purposes and roles in society. Looking ahead, Pluto will be in Aquarius until January 2044, a sign that symbolizes humanism and scientific progression. This 20-year period offers a powerful opportunity for growth, as well as the challenge of navigating the new era and integrating our relationships with one another as innovative beings.I appreciate you taking the time to reflect on Scorpio season and embrace soul care with me. JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM for more about these astro-events when a new “Karmic Evolution's Astrologically Speaking!” We'll delve into the higher meaning of the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Taurus—the first time these two have come together in this fixed earth sign since 1941--& how it fits into the upcoming Scorpio Full Moon square to Pluto in Aquarius energy! (Hint: New revelations about necessary future evolutionary societal changes!)Along the way, Sheri discusses recent events within the collective related to Mercury & the Sun's conjunctions to Eris this past week & what news they brought us. AND, how the Sun's move into Taurus April 19 & waning Mars/Saturn in Pisces energy may calm things down a bit going forward, despite the currently ongoing warfare between places like Israel & Iran.Plus, we take a deep dive into Israel's natal chart to see where past wounds (Scorpio South Node conjunct wounded healer Chiron) are triggered now by an opposition from the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction & the quincunx from transiting Chiron in Aries. And how this may determine this nation's future actions/reactions, especially since its karmic nodal axis & Chiron square its natal Saturn/Pluto in Leo.We look also at where these energies occur in the U.S. Sibly chart. And how GOP House speaker Mike Johnson's recent change of heart on supporting funding for Ukraine can be seen as the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction occurs on the U.S. 6th H cusp, calling this nation to once again “be of service” to its allies. This is especially true as transiting Chiron continues making its return & triggers the natal U.S. chart's opposition of natal Chiron to natal Juno/Saturn (read: commitment in partnership) & square to its natal 7th H of partnership Cancer Sun. Translation: Congress debates passing financial & military support for Israel & Ukraine, & supplying humanitarian funds for Gazans based on the retriggering of its own natal wound. Read: The wound to its quest for independence from an overbearing monarchy, which led to its birth as an independent sovereign nation. Finally, the upcoming April 23 Scorpio Full Moon squares Pluto in Aquarius, telling us that change is inevitable as the evolution-oriented Scorpio Moon reflects the light of stubborn change-resistant Taurus Sun back to itself. Change is inevitable as a law of the universe, but won't come easily, as the square of both luminaries to Pluto in Aquarius is already been felt by events like the arrest of 100+ students protesting the war in Gaza at NYC's Columbia University on April 18.With Pluto about to enter Aquarius for the long haul on November 19, we're seeing shades of the revolutionary energy of the Uranus/Pluto conjunction in Virgo from the mid-1960's when the protests by students nationwide at college campuses were shut down by the authorities, sometimes brutally (Kent State, anyone?)We had a preview of this kind of energy when Saturn transited through Uranus-ruled Aquarius (a rebellious energy as well) from March 21, 2020 to July 1, 2020; and then later from December 17, 2020, to March 7, 2023. This is when we experienced groups of people taking to the streets in support of the Black Lives Matter movement—not only in America but in places like France too.Stay tuned for all this Astro News You Can Use & more by checking out this week's podcast @KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM (or any of your favorite podcast stations) starting at 11 a.m. PT & 2 p.m. ET today! JOIN ASTROLOGER SHERI HORN HASAN @ KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM FOR THIS WEEK'S “KARMIC EVOLUTION'S ASTROLOGICALLY SPEAKING!” PODCAST for a discussion of how the bigger astro picture is shaping the future both in the U.S. & globally…This podcast explores how the current 36-year Saturn/Pluto in Capricorn cycle, which began January 12, 2020, is bringing new alignments in terms of partnerships—which is happening as we head toward the end of the 36-year cycle of Saturn to Neptune starting in early 2026.We look back at past Saturn/Pluto & Saturn/Neptune cycles as we head toward the beginning of the new Saturn/Neptune cycle which begins February 20, 2026, for the next 36 years. Learn the historical facts related to these astrological cycles & how they pose similar questions for our future…Will the new world order forming now—especially since Russia's invasion of Ukraine two years ago has strengthened the NATO alliance—portend the weakening of America as a dominant world power? Especially with the current chaos in Congress & the uncertainty around the November 5 U.S. presidential election? All this as Pluto's about to enter Aquarius for the next 19 years on November 19, 2024, until March 2043, & we're still dealing with the repercussions of the U.S. Pluto return. This podcast explores, too, the repercussions of the once every 162-year Jupiter/Neptune conjunction in Pisces, which began its new cycle on April 12, 2022. We note how, since then, there's been a major dissolution (read: Neptune & Jupiter-ruled Pisces) of boundaries concerning all things Jupiterian--including law, higher education, immigration, & religion. Join us to look at the astrological macrocosm of these bigger planetary cycle shifts as they are applied to the microcosm of what's happening now! That's as in what occurred when the Pisces Sun, Mercury, & Saturn conjoined on February 28. On last week's podcast Sheri noted how a Sun/Mercury conjunction usually portends a major announcement by someone of import, such as a head of state or someone in a high position, be it a politician, celebrity, or other prominent personage. However, this conjunction included serious Saturn—& was in the archetypal sign of Neptune-ruled Pisces, which cast a cloud of confusion over whether such an announcement would actually come to pass. And major announcements we had! From the stepping down of Senator Mitch McConnell as minority leader of the Senate, to the confusing statement by President Biden indicating an Israeli/Hamas ceasefire was near, to the Supreme Court's announcement it would take up Donald Trump's presidential immunity claims & cause more delay, & more!Join us to grow in consciousness via an interesting astrological conversation about this & more Astro News You Can Use as we approach the March 3 third-quarter monthly lunar square following the February 24 Virgo Full Moon which asked us to release our attachment to believing in things that prove to be factually untrue in the end. You know, like that the fact that “billionaire” Donald Trump can't easily afford to put up $464 million in escrow while he appeals his recent NYS financial judgment in court—stuff like that!Don't miss this interesting “Karmic Evolution's Astrologically Speaking!” podcast at KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM (or your favorite podcast station) which drops today March 1 & learn more about how long-term astrological energies work in the REAL world! Looking forward to seeing you later! Namaste…
JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM FOR THE LATEST ASTRO NEWS YOU USE PODCAST—INCLUDING THE UPCOMING LEO FULL MOON JANUARY 25-- JANUARY 19!This week's podcast discusses how the nascent Saturn/Pluto & Jupiter/Saturn synodic cycles--begun in early & late 2020, respectively—are beginning to create a new global order. We review the history of the past two Saturn/Pluto 36-year cycles & how they coincided with WWI & WWII--both of which resulted in drastically realigned global politics.Even Foreign Affairs Magazine notes that “2024 is the year of a rare planetary alignment,” as 80 nations—including major democracies—are set to go to the polls to elect leaders in 2024, & the world is poised to enter a new era as this astrological cycle progresses. When the Sun meets Pluto at 29-degrees 58-minutes Capricorn for the first time since January 18, 1789--when the two conjoined at 29-degrees 45-minutes of Capricorn—it's followed hours later by their entrance into Aquarius January 20. Although Pluto retrogrades back into Capricorn one more time between September 1 & 19 November, January 20 marks the triggering of the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction degree of 0'28” Aquarius that heralded future change to power structures starting December 21, 2020.The Jupiter/Saturn cycle, in the air element for the first time in 200-years since 1980, portends new leadership—which we see through exploration of the myth of the death of the old king & the reign of the new one. This podcast explores how the waxing Jupiter/Saturn cycle implies the death of “an old principle.” (Jupiter formed a waxing sextile to Saturn back in June 2023 & will come within a degree of a Saturn sextile again between January 27-February 23) This death is often followed a period of uncertainty & chaos (sound familiar, anyone?) before a new one takes hold, both collectively & personally.Find out more about how these cycles are interacting with current astrological events, as the January 17 waxing first-quarter monthly lunar square challenges us still to continue to steady the wheel & steer the ship toward partisan compromise here in the U.S. & abroad as we wax toward the January 25 Leo Full Moon square Jupiter!Join Sheri for all this & more at KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM! See you then!
My annual predictions are a deep dive into the energetic potential of the new year and I have been writing them for over 15 years. Every year, since we began this ascension cycle in late 2003 has been another level of our journey, each one has provided us with a new perspective on our mission, purpose, learning, healing, and evolution. Each one has had its challenges and its blessings, its good times, and its bad times. There were times when things looked very dark, as they have especially during the last 4 years, and somehow we managed to turn a corner and elevate to a new energy level. In the December Energy Report I wrote that we are at a pinnacle and a precipice, the pinnacle represents the final point in this journey, and the precipice is the abyss that is the ‘other' option because at this juncture there is no gray area, it is an ‘either/or' proposition. This is not a doom and gloom prediction, just a statement of the situation as it is. But we know where we will finish because we always have the light and another level of ascension and evolution to move us forward. We cannot talk about the new year in 2024 without mentioning one of its huge turning points, the entry of Pluto into Aquarius on January 21. Pluto's long transit in Capricorn was our ascension testing ground, and it did test us in many ways. In 2020 we had a rare Saturn/Pluto conjunction which set off the lessons in darkness and tyranny that challenged us on every level. But 2 years later we had the Jupiter/Neptune conjunction in Pisces, a rare event that heralds spiritual awakening.Once again we had the light to guide our way out of the darkness and while we did not exit that part of the journey without some scratches and bruises, we did not fall into the abyss – although it felt like it came close. Our ascension journey is not a straight line, it is a spiral. And we eventually reach the top of the spiral, as we have now. At that pinnacle point we can move into a new dimensional level, and this is where we are at the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024. The finish line becomes the new starting point. We have a new year celebration every January but this year is different, you can already feel the excitement of a new beginning, a fresh start, and a new paradigm. Maybe it's because we have been through every challenge and limitation and problem in the past 4 years that we could possibly endure and we are at the end of that path and surprise, we are still standing (mostly). 2024 has some powerful energies, big opportunities, great potential, and tough choices. We really do have to limit how we're using our energy now and who and what we are sharing it with. And forget all of that healing work, we are quickly moving away from the martyred healer work and into Empowered Mastery. But that comes with a few guidelines, such as managing our expectations of ourselves and of others, being more congruent with our own potential, and having clear and direct intentions that we resonate with. Intention is so important in 2024 that it is part of the 2024 theme of the SHIFT, more on that in a minute. Equally as important as intention is resonance, the energetic balance and synergy which ensures that what we are intending is energetically aligned with us in every way. For a long time we have created energetic balance with our own energy resources but we can no longer do that as the energy gaps are too big and our own new paradigms are too compelling. We want to be in joy, harmony, and flow, and we cannot do that when we are parsing out our energy to heal, fix, and encourage others to become energetically aligned with us. I know it is hard to relinquish a healing path we have followed for lifetimes but we cannot have 5D energetic congruence if we are stuck in 3D karma healing missions. Many of us have experienced that in the past few years.Read the rest of the article on the blog at enlighteninglife.com Created, narrated, and produced by Jennifer Hoffman.Artwork by Jennifer Hoffman.Copyright by Jennifer Hoffman, all US and international rights reserved.Visit enlighteninglife.com for more information.email support@enlighteninglife.com with questions

This February features some major, potent, transformative, and generation-defining transits on the part of two slower-moving giants: Saturn & Pluto. But wait — aren't those transits were happening in March?! Well… Yes, in a sense, that's true because the Tropical “versions” of these transits go down in March, BUT also - nope! We're learning how the skies reveal the truth when we look up. In doing so, it's easier to notice that Saturn officially stations into the stars of Aquarius on February 10th, and then Pluto moves into true Capricorn a literal DAY AFTER THAT. These timeline-refining shifts may feel dense to those of us more aware of our Spirit Bodies, but there's also SO much magic to be made within this knowing! Following on from last episode's deep dive into the themes of Capricorn, this episode tracks the elusive 11th sign of the Zodiac, Aquarius, and the mythic themes that flow through it. We watch as the beautiful youth, Ganymede, is abducted by Zeus and taken to Heaven to pour wine for the Gods while his father is left behind bereft. This story was taken from the Homeric Hymn to Aphrodite and is followed by the tragedy of Eos and Tithonus; Eos is the Goddess of the Dawn who falls in love with the mortal Tithonus. She asks that he might live forever, not thinking to add the critical piece that he would remain eternally youthful. How can these stories of the tension between the reality of ageing and the ideal of eternal youthfulness help us to see Aquarius more clearly? We then follow Aphrodite (Venus) and her two births: one as the daughter of Uranus and the other as the offspring of Zeus & Dione (the feminine form of Zeus) before settling in to the original creative tension: Uranus the mind of god Vs Saturn of the earthly wisdom. The New Moon is in Aquarius on January 21st, 8:53pm, GMT.Jason Holley's Constellation Deep DivesGorillaz: Don't Get Lost in HeavenImage: Johann Frank Kirchbach; The Rape of Ganymede (1892)Music by Marlia Coeur on Spotify. Please consider becoming a Patron to support the show!Go to OnTheSoulsTerms.com for more.

I am publishing the December Energy Report a few days late but it is not by accident. I had it ready to go on December first but I also got the message to wait for a few days because there would be more to add. So I did because I have learned to follow my guidance. Then on December 2 we had a rare and beautiful aspect between the moon at 1 Aries and Jupiter at 29 Pisces, something I have called an Alpha/Omega portal. Usually I talk about these when there are two new moons in the same sign, the first at 1 degree and the second at 29 degrees. Here we have a much bigger aspect between the moon, ruler of our emotions, and Jupiter, ruler of higher thought, spirituality as an intentional path, which has only happened 9 times since the year 1 (I checked). Most recently, this aspect happened in January 1845, July 1913, and September 2010. September 2010 is the one we can all relate to because it happened in our lifetime. I remember that period, it was a rather crazy time as the internet was becoming more mainstream, social media was taking off, and everyone was selling the best way to do online marketing (usually with a lot of hype and not much substance). On December 2 we saw evidence of serious crimes using social media platforms and the clear evidence of the illegal use of social platforms to target people. The Alpha/Omega moment is a full circle, a becoming 360 moment of action and consequences. It has been intense and rather revealing and this is a milestone on our ascension path, a full revelation of the dark by the light. It created a lot of awakening too. This is going to continue through 2023 so it's not an isolated incident. The dominos have begun to fall.2022 is nearly over and I am probably not the only person who reads that with a sigh of relief. What a tough year this has been and it is just one more in the past 2 challenging years. Since 2020 we have been bombarded with energy and tough astro aspects that have historically always heralded huge changes in humanity, society, and in the world when they happened. We had the Saturn/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, the Saturn/Uranus square, Jupiter conjunct Neptune in Pisces, and the US and global Pluto return. And in January 2022 we began Ascension 2.0, a new ascension cycle. That's a lot and it is just some of the big ones, there were many more. It's a lot to happen in a very short period of time. We're all battle worn and weary and we need a break. We'll get that in December, along with a call to action that is more about inspiration than perspiration, expanding wonderful rather than doing more worry and work, and turning trauma into triumph. I have read comments from astrologers and people who issue predictions about December and they say to sit back, wait, and ponder. No thanks and I disagree. You can do that if you want to but I'm going to use the wonderful, creative, inspiring energy of December to close some doors and open new portals. I looked up the tarot card and 7 of the major arcana is the chariot, hardly a vehicle for sitting back and waiting. When I think of chariots I think of the film Ben Hur and the chariot race, one of the more thrilling action scenes in film history. . I have some joyful energy to bring into my life and clean out the dust of these past few years. I am ready for a fresh start and a new beginning at a new vibe, are you? Master Astrologer Rick Levine joins me in this episode, as we chat about his journey into astrology, the philosophies he works with, and the concept that astrology is sacred geometry manifested in the planets! We also take a look at the astrology of 2020, specifically the Saturn/Pluto conjunction, the mess it created, and how these two planets have caused chaos throughout history. 2021 also goes under the astrological magnifying glass, as Rick shares the aspects we should be watching this year, and how the planets will be speaking to each other moving forward. The last few weeks have featured momentous events, including two potent eclipses and the mighty Saturn-Pluto conjunction. The effects of these powerful events are still resonating, but it's a relief to have a relatively quiet interlude to regroup during the second half of January. But there's still plenty of astrological opportunity. You can revolutionize your life with an Aquarius New Moon. Two Mercury-Uranus aspects fuel intuitive flashes, and the interplay of Venus, Mars and Neptune offers juicy creative and spiritual possibilities!
The Water Trio - Astrology with Cassandra Tyndall, Kelly Surtees and Alicia Shaich Yusuf
It's a big week ahead, so join Kelly, Cassandra and Alicia as they discuss the astrology of a big week ahead, with the Lunar eclipse and Saturn-Pluto conjunction within days of each other. The Saturn-Pluto conjunction is so important that we gave it a special focus on its own episode here https://soundcloud.com/thewatertrio/1104-bonus-episode. Jupiter meets the South Node on 8/9 January and we get a last cathartic push of the South Node and an opportunity to access its spiritualising influence. Emotional ties and connections come to the fore with the Cancer Lunar Eclipse on 10/11 January, as the North Node turns us to face the future. Mercury reaches it cazimi point in Capricorn at the same time, with sudden insights and clear communication also on offer. ********************************************************************* What's on this week The girls are looking forward to their one day event in Brisbane, but other ways to link in with them are: Kelly is teaching a Year Ahead Forecasting workshop in Sydney this Saturday, find out more via https://www.kellysastrology.com/product/2020-astrology-workshop-sydney/ Cassandra and Alicia are both seeing client's this week, to book in with either of them visit https://www.cassandratyndall.com/ and https://aliciayusuf.com/
