On this episode Larissa and Kris talk preservation terminology - Are you really "restoring" your old house? We also learn about Caitlin Mee and her new preservation consulting business! Caitlin is originally from Northern California, specifically the San Francisco bay area and Sacramento. She has a bachelors in History from California State University in Sacramento. She struggled to make the switch in her major from psychology to history because she was afraid She'd be working at a job not utilizing her degree and she didn't want to teach high school history. Caitlin made the switch and hasn't regretted it since! Graduate school took her to Georgia and she fell in love with the South. Caitlin has a super "extra" passion for historic preservation and architectural history. If she had to define herself as an architectural style she would be a Craftsman Bungalow; emphasis on craftsmanship, irregular, woodsy, and solid! When shes not dating old buildings for fun and work, you can find her in the climbing gym or at the crag.
