It's already a big deal to sell everything to travel full-time but it's another thing to choose your next home that is all of 300 square feet and on wheels!Maybe you just need a weekend rig or you want to travel the US for a couple of months but still keep your house.Either way, choosing an RV can be hard when there are so many choices. You might be considering between a travel trailer or fifth wheel; maybe a class a or a class c.Today we're going to dive into some things to consider when shopping for your next rv.A few topics we cover today are:-How tall should your rv be-Storage space-What to give up, what you really need-Why we went from a bunk house to a toy hauler-Is there such a thing as too big of an rv-& plenty more!Don't forget that we are now posting our podcast episodes on YouTube for a video version.See ya on the road!-AmandaSupport the show
When it's time to sell everything you've worked for and starting fresh with limited items, it can be hard. We went from a 2,500 sq ft home, 2 car garage, big barn and 7 acres to a 40' 5th wheel (now 42' toy hauler). We had to become minimalist because there wasn't another option if we wanted this lifestyle. It may have brought me to tears but it has been worth it so we can travel full time with our kiddos. You can see more about our lifestyle, check out our favorite products on the road and find remote work at www.OurJourneyToHappiness.comSupport the show
My middle child joined me today for an informative video. It's easy for parents to say what it's like for their kids to live on the road but it's another when you're asking the kids directly. So far, we've had a couple of meltdowns where they do miss their "old" life but overall they are usually excited for the new adventures. You can see more about our lifestyle, check out our favorite products on the road and find remote work at www.OurJourneyToHappiness.comSupport the show
