We examine ways in which God can enrich our lives and solely fulfill them with His Word, His Son, and His grace. We aim to help our listeners find a way to not be half full or half empty, rather overflowing with His love and ONLY His love. Journey with us
Defining the different types of LOVE using the Greek translation (Eros, Storge, Phileo, and Agape.) Join us as we look at each type and explain both similarities and differences in every form.
We're back! After a long journey, here we are in season 2! This episode we take a deep dive into the first of nine fruits of the Spirit.
To begin season 2, Tim and Dillon overview the Galatians 5:16-26. Our goal with this season is to view each Fruit of the Spirit and how it applies to our walk as Christians. Our approach is to overview all of them in this episode briefly and explain our purpose for the weeks to come.
Today we examine God's second law of pardon. Specifically, we look at the ways in which a Christian can live in the peace and hope of Heaven awaiting. We should strive for knowledge, understanding, and apply those in our lives. We outline how to do such things and in what ways we can have, “The peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)
Tim dives deeply into the basis of a Faithful Christian's hope. This is not an easy concept to discuss or review, but we felt it necessary as there is so much misrepresentation of scripture that the devil wishes us to plague our minds and souls. We aim today to answer this basic, but foundational question regarding the faithful Christian and his or her sin: WHY do faithful Christians sin? Is sinlessness the basis of our hope as faithful Christian's. Give Tim time to explain himself in this lesson, regardless of what reservations you may have from past experiences.
We tackle over the next few episode in this series the difference in Hopefulness and Hoplessness. We hope you take the time to listen carefully to what we are saying, for all faithful sons and daughters of God should feel secure in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Our covetousness mindset can take us further than we would ever prefer to go, down roads we have no business on. In the follow up to our first episode on this, Curbing the Covetousness Mindset, we now look at the origins of covetousness within us, how to identify the root causes and finally, how to overcome this.
A deep dive into the dangers of a covetous mindsetWe look in episode 1/2 at the mindset of covetousness that can lead to many of the things we regret in our lives: immorality, selfishness, lust, etc. We aim to examine in this first episode how to identify its dangers so we can limit our minds from wandering down the wrong path of life.
We conclude our discussion on the six Ps from earlier in the month.
We examine his penchant, provision, power, proof, and petition. Should we yield to Him, we receive our portion. God is all we need in this life. The hardest part is finding Him. The second is yielding to His will.
Solomon did not have it wrong when he told us, "there is nothing new under the sun." We examine how that translates into we so many today can not find satisfaction in this world. We further illustrate where it can be found.
Part 2/2 of our introductory lesson. We conclude our overview of the podcast and provide a few more helpful tips to be fulfilled when we are parched spiritually.
We desire for you to learn with us how we drink from the Living Water. Drinking deeply from His living water, persevere and find satisfaction in the only place you can: His Son, His Word, His Love and His Grace. Part 1/2 of a lesson to continue to introduce this series. Great journeys of thousands of miles beginning with your first step. Join us on this journey.
