Sorry we're late! This week we have a very exciting interview and talk about a nifty roll and write we played. This mini-episode will mark the end of our first season, as we are no longer on the road and are going to be making significantly more properer types of episodes (with a laptop!), so y'all have that to look forward to. See you soon!
Through a cold and, of course, technical difficulties, we recorded most of our episode at Strefa MTG in Warsaw. Thanks to the lovely staff for letting us record there. We also got our ninth Keyforge deck but we might be the only ones who care about that...
We saw all the sights in Athens and had some time left over so we figured we'd sneak in another episode while we could. Thanks to Kaissa Cafe for not caring at all one way or the other that we recorded there. Sidebar: There were riots in Athens the day after we left it, which makes this the second time we've missed riots by one day. I digress: Finally, thanks to you for being interested in what we have to say, whether you're listening for the reviews of foreign game cafes or game recommendations or travel updates. We like you and we love you.
Oh, THERE you are! We've been away for a while, sorry about that. The good news is that it means we have a lot to talk about! Travel, new friends, Essen Spiel, and we will even answer some questions! Also, it's our first episode to span an entire continent, which is an impressive way to say it's taken way too long to make this
This episode was recorded in Cardiff, Wales at The Lansdowne Pub game night provided by Rules of Play. The Manager, Dafydd (it was the Welshest spelling we could find) joins us for an interview and we have special guests all over this episode. Huge thanks to Sunday Night Board Games in Cardiff for hosting us for a week! Will, Jon, Emma, you guys rock!
This time we are in Sligo Town, Sligo County at the Sligo Southern Hotel with the Sligo Gaming Society! In our noisiest episode yet, we discuss Paperback vs. Hardback, Twilight Imperium, have a lovely chat with the big boss of Sligo Boardgames.
Recorded at The Square Ball in Dublin, Ireland, this episode we talk about games for a pub tournament, what to play with your non-gamer family, and how to get your date into board games. Thanks to the lovely staff of The Square Ball for hosting us and to our lovely listeners for your questions.
This episode we are all over the place! We start off in Glasgow, then go to Inverness, then back in time all the way to last Thursday. A huge shout out and thank you to Ross Brain and his establishment West End Games. Also the game we suggested for Steve was Not Alone but it cut out right as Chalene said the title so it sounded like she said "Alone" so don't go looking for that game, Steve.
Coming at you from Table Top Cafe in Edmonton, we talk about cool games and answer questions about co-ops, dudes-on-a-map, and the therapeutic applications of board games.
In our first episode ever, we try some new games and gush about old ones. We, of course, also answer some questions from future fans! Huge shout out to King Me! Boardgamery and Cafe for hosting us this episode.
