In this episode of the Poteau Pirate Podcast I talk about what you can expect from Distance Learning at PHS and what is expected from you either Online or Paper/Pencil work. Also, the podcast will be moving to a bi-weekly format. If something you need to know about happens I will let you know here. Otherwise, expect the next episode in 2 weeks.
In this quick update I talk about the recent decision by the Oklahoma State Board of Education to have schools move to a Distance Learning system and what that means for Poteau High School. If you can please check your school email, Google Classrooms, or Remind to answer a form that will help us gather information about students' access to the internet and the best way to deliver information and lessons to students. Also, encourage other students to do the same.
COVID-19 has closed school until April 6. What does that mean for school breakfast and lunch? Sports? School activities? We try to tackle all of those questions and more in this episode of the Poteau Pirate Podcast. In the 10th episode of the podcast, I have Aidan Falkner and Alexa Mutz on the show to talk about their new podcast called TEA-M-I. We discuss what makes their podcast interesting and why you should listen to it. Should be a lot of fun. After a rough start, we get to the announcements. If you are a Senior, you need to pay special attention, most of the announcements are for you. After that , I sat down with Andrew and Ronnie and spoke about their new podcast, The Gameporium. We spoke about what they want to do with their podcast and what you the listener can expect. If you are into video games, then you owe it to yourself to give it a listen.
