In this episode of Sharing My Truth, Mel and Suzie dive into the eye-opening prediction according to a study by Morgan Stanley that by 2030, nearly 45% of women ages 25–44 will be single and childless. (Yes, you heard that right!) They break down the numbers and explore the factors behind this trend, from rising career ambitions and financial independence to shifting views on love and marriage. Is singlehood becoming the new status symbol? And are dating apps a thing of the past? Plus, how can you make "table for one" feel fabulous? They also dig into the bigger questions: Is this trend a sign of crisis or a conscious choice by women to rewrite the relationship rulebook? Are women really happy about this? Is it actually a choice or a by-product of choosing career and financial independence? Mel and Suzie share the perks and pitfalls of navigating a world built for couples, all while serving up their signature blend of laughs, truth bombs, and tea. Whether you're happily single, actively mingling, or somewhere in between, this episode has something for you! On our new segment, "Spilling The Tea," Mel and Suzie talk about the phenomenon of young women ditching hormonal contraception because of information they've seen on TikTok. It's everywhere; have you been following it? How has this happened? Tune in, have a laugh, and maybe learn a thing or two about navigating the crazy world of sex and relationships! On this week's episode the girls catch up with each other and discuss Teresa's trip to London and Katie's return to work. Then they both deep dive into everything they've been consuming lately, which is A LOT since its been about four weeks since their last spilling the tea episode! To no ones surprise, Katie is continuing with her witchy book reads and Teresa is kind of all over the place at the moment but is deeply recovering from finishing A Little Life. THIS IS A TRIGGER WARNING FOR THE LAST 10-15 MIN OF THE EPISDE, TERESA DISCUSSES THE BOOK, A LITTLE LIFE, IN DEPTH WHICH INCLUDES MENTIONS OF SELF-HARM, SEXUAL ABUSE, PHYSICAL ABUSE, SUICIDE, DEATH OF LOVED ONES AND MORE
In this episode, Mel and Suzie tackle the ultimate relationship dilemma: You catch someone cheating... now what? Do you tell? Do you only tell a close friend? Do you just not get involved! The truth can destroy lives; it's so complicated! If you saw your friend's partner with another woman or man, would you tell your friend? Would you wait? Mel and Suzie debate the consequences of outing a cheater, because sometimes exposing the truth can cause more chaos than the affair itself. And let's face it—no one wants to be caught in the middle of a messy breakup and get the blame! Oh, and don't forget the all-important question: How do you actually break the news without completely ruining the friendship? But wait—there's more! It's not always black and white. Mel and Suzie swap stories of when confronting cheaters ended with explosive drama, awkward apologies, and even one too many drinks. Should you speak up and take the moral high ground, or is it sometimes better to let karma do the dirty work? On our new segment, "Spilling The Tea," Mel and Suzie talk about the P Diddy situation. It's everywhere; have you been following it? How has this happened? Tune in, have a laugh, and maybe learn a thing or two about navigating the crazy world of sex and relationships! In this week's episode of 'The Queer Quest Podcast' we have on queer author and sexual abuse survivor Michael Caven to share stories from his upcoming memoir 'Spilling The Tea'. Michael has had an interesting journey to say the least and the main topics we discuss in this episode are: ~ His younger years growing up in a vulnerable position that led him to be groomed by a male teacher when he was just a teenager to then being sexually abused and exploited ~ This leading to him getting caught up in drugs, alcohol, and seeing himself as a sexual object in order to get what he needed to survive ~ Getting into a relationship with a much older gay man who then became a mentor to him and helped him turn his life around ~ Going through rehab and therapy with a gay therapist and realising he needed to face the predator and take him down so he could no longer do this to other young boys ~ Life afterwards where he opened up the first LGBTQIA+ themed restaurant in the USA This eye-opening chat is not to be missed and we honour Michael's courage and vulnerability in sharing his story with us. You can follow along to find out more of Michael's journey and details of his memoirs release at www.michaelcaven.com Tune in to 'How To Take Down A Predator & Overcome Shame' now, like, comment, and subscribe for new episodes weekly.

Same shit, different way! Kelley tells the story of Penelope Barker, a woman living in the American Colonies who capitalized on several husbands' (unintentional) deaths to raise her status, make her own money, and start the first women's led political movement! Then, Emily tells the story Phyllis Lumley, the woman behind the viral 1950s television clip who raised seven children with no arms and, most impressive, didn't need anyone to light her own cigarette. Described as 'A Mother in a Million,' was Phyllis really so different from other women of her time? Grab a bag of mini donuts and persist like the horror you are, because we're wining about herstory! Joining Sabrina today is Kamie Crawford, diving deep into relationships, touching on dating dynamics, attachment styles, and red flags. Kamie reflects on her anxious attachment stemming from an absent parent and how therapy has helped her move towards a secure attachment. Sabrina and Kamie agree that while disagreements are natural, constant arguing in relationships isn't healthy. Kamie, who dates someone with a child, emphasizes respecting the child and communicating openly with both parents. The two discuss the importance of taking things slow, not rushing into relationships, and being mindful of red flags. In their 30s, both women now prioritize meaningful qualities in partners over superficial traits they may have focused on in their 20s. They also touch on the growing confusion around gender roles in dating, where some men believe they are the prize, and how bad advice from people with no relationship experience can misguide. On the topic of catfishing, they urge caution online, recommending looking into someone before meeting them, especially if they're new. Ultimately, they stress the importance of investing in yourself, setting healthy boundaries, and choosing partners who genuinely align with your values rather than succumbing to societal pressures or superficial expectations. Reminder: Our Move Abroad Escape Plan Bootcamp starts THIS WEEKEND! I hope to see you there. Grab your ticket here. -------Today, I'm diving deep into the world of digital nomad programs, with a special focus on the most popular one, Remote Year. The reason why I need to share this with you is that it's so important to be fully aware of what you're signing up for, including the financial costs and the lack of control over crucial aspects like destinations, accommodations, and coworking spaces.I'll also share some eye-opening stories from participants facing challenges like sexual harassment, racism, and a lack of support from these programs. My goal is to stress the importance of feeling confident and empowered to plan your own adventure and make your own decisions when moving abroad. And guess what? If you're ready to take charge of your move abroad journey, I've got just the thing for you. Join my Move Abroad Escape Plan Bootcamp for personalized guidance and support to help you every step of the way. Let's get you living your dream life abroad!Resources Mentioned:→ Join the Bootcamp!
