Replenish: "to fill up again or restore to a former level or condition." With Sheri recently back from a time of personal replenishment, she and Alison discuss the importance and the impact of refueling. They discuss how the act of filling up again is vital to high performance, and how challenged leaders are to take back this time for themselves. This topic is especially important in this dynamic, constantly shifting state that we find ourselves in now, and how replenishing ourselves is key to showing up how we intend to show up.

DEI (diversity - equity - inclusion) efforts are critically essential in creating a world where all of us have EQUALITY in terms of opportunity. EQUITY doesn't mean equal . . . EQUITY mean reaching back to the person who has been held back the most and pulling them to the front so they have an EQUAL chance at opportunity. In this podcast, Dr. Vanessa and Aneatria drop some wisdom bombs about impact versus activity, delve into what DEI means, and how we as white leaders can turn our seats of power into seats of change.

This discussion really hit us right in the heart as leaders. Positive intent, vulnerability, leadership and our choice to infuse change are all powerful levers we can each pull to create a future of equity in the workplace. The Fight Forward series was inspired by our guests today - Aneatria Faith Bailey and her mom, Dr. Vanessa McCloud. The intention of this series is to open up hearts and minds by inspiring us all to venture into the hard spaces and ignite learning, acceptance, acknowledgment and action.
