Have you ever had that moment when something you teach suddenly makes even MORE sense because you experienced it yourself in a new way? In this week's video, I'm sharing how I went from feeling bummed about $7,600 in all-access pass sales to celebrating over $59,000 in total summit revenue all because of the monetization stacking strategy I teach but had never fully experienced myself. You'll hear the specific numbers behind what happened, why this "smaller" summit actually became such a powerful teaching moment, and how it reinforced why I'm so passionate about helping hosts move beyond single-strategy monetization.

4. When Politicians Panicked: The New Corona Virus, Expert Opinion, and a Tragic Lapse of Reason by John Tamney, argues that the severe economic contraction experienced in 2020 was primarily a consequence of politicians' panicked reactions and forced lockdowns, rather than the inherent lethality of the COVID-19 virus itself. Tamney highlights Governor Cuomo's March 20, 2020, decision to shut down New York, portraying the economy as a "valve" that could be arbitrarily opened and closed, which led to an immediate and severe contraction that persisted long after. The book contends that financial markets had already accounted for the virus's severity based on early signals from China, where US companies like Apple, GM, Nike, and Starbucks maintained strong performance, indicating the virus was not indiscriminately lethal. The real market panic, leading to a "very quick correction," occurred when politicians demonstrated their ability to "wreck an economy" through drastic actions like shutting down events such as South by Southwest in Texas. This response is contrasted with the 1968 Hong Kong flu pandemic, which caused 100,000 American deaths (equivalent to 250,000 today) but saw no significant market reaction or political lockdowns, primarily because technology at the time made such widespread closures impractical without risking "mass riots". Tamney criticizes the government's subsequent interventions, such as the CARES Act and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), for being akin to "central planning" imposed on top of political decrees. He argues these programs indiscriminately propped up entities like private schools, Harvard, and the Los Angeles Lakers, instead of allowing market forces to determine which businesses would adapt or fail. This "nationalization of investment" through government checks and loans was deemed anti-investment and merely delayed recovery by diverting capital from those most capable of investing to those most likely to consume, which does not drive economic growth. The author advocates for economic growth and individual freedom as the most effective responses to health threats. He points to examples like the voluntary disappearance of hand sanitizer and toilet paper before official shutdowns, and an individual living in a tent in Florida to protect his family despite no mandates, demonstrating that people don't need laws to avoid illness. Tamney suggests that a constitutional "right to contract" and return to work should protect individuals from such mandates. He concludes that the resilience shown by private enterprise, such as Pfizer developing a vaccine without "Operation Warp Speed" money, underscores that a healthy economy fostered by freedom is the best defense against disease. The core lesson, he asserts, is "never again take away people's freedom". 1919 TEXAS

Experienced Child Abuser: Why the System Freed Jake Haro Before Baby Emmanuel's Death The disappearance and presumed murder of 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro has shocked California—and the entire country. What began as a frantic report of a kidnapping in a Big 5 parking lot quickly unraveled into something much darker: a staged story, a dead infant, and two parents now sitting in jail charged with first-degree murder. On today's episode, we break down the chilling timeline of what happened to baby Emmanuel, why investigators never believed the parents' story, and how prosecutors say the infant suffered months of abuse before his death. But this case isn't just about two parents facing murder charges. It's about the system that allowed it to happen. Emmanuel's father, Jake Haro, wasn't a man with a clean slate. He was a convicted child abuser, already guilty of nearly killing another baby in 2018—a crime that left his daughter permanently disabled. Despite that, a judge let him walk with probation. No prison. No long-term oversight. And when Jake later violated probation with a firearm offense, the case still dragged on, leaving him free to live in a home with children. Officials are now openly calling this tragedy preventable. Prosecutors and sheriffs alike are criticizing the judge's decision, saying Emmanuel's death should never have been possible. District Attorney Mike Hestrin didn't mince words: “If that judge had done his job, Emmanuel would be alive today.” This is more than a true crime story. Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
It's a devastating reminder of how broken our protective systems can be. It's about what happens when red flags are ignored, when probation fails, when courts give second chances to people who should never have them. Join us as we unpack every detail—the fake kidnapping, the father's disturbing past, the mother's silence, the timeline of missed warnings, and the outcry that continues as the search for Emmanuel's remains goes on. Creepypasta Scary Story
Quit Cracking"Quiet cracking" is a workplace term for the gradual psychological and emotional deterioration of an employee who remains in their job but becomes increasingly disengaged, unmotivated, and unhappy, often due to factors like lack of career growth, feelings of being undervalued, burnout, and job insecurity from AI or a difficult job market. Unlike "quiet quitting," which is a conscious decision to do the bare minimum, quiet cracking is a subtle, slow decline in motivation and productivity that can lead to disengagement and increased stress. That's still a lot of money, but it's a lot less than last year's total. According to the poll, the average person reluctantly tips $24 a month more than they think is fair because of guilt or the awkwardness of not tipping. That adds up to $283 over a year, but it's a big drop from 2024's guilt-tipping tally of $453.This year, Americans guilt tip an average of 4.2 times a month, down from last year's 6.3 average of times a month.Overall, 20% of respondents say they always or often tip higher because they feel pressured or guilty, but 29% say they rarely or never do.More than a third (37%) report that the tipping option amounts are higher than they used to be now.In general, 22% say they tip less across the board in 2025, but 32% actually tip more now to specifically support workers. And more than three-quarters (78%) think businesses should pay employees more so they don't have to rely on tips.Second Date UpdateBrynn calls us about Patrick. Discover how to prepare for the biggest career changes in your 50s with tips on lifelong learning, curiosity, and adapting to the future of work. Start investing in your personal growth and professional excellence now!Essential listening for anyone wondering how to navigate the reality that 50 is just the beginning of your second professional act.Why 50 is the Half-Time of Your Professional CareerIn this thought-provoking conversation, Neeraj Sagar, founder of Wisdom Circle and Stanford Centre for Longevity Global Ambassador, challenges everything we think we know about career planning and retirement in the age of longevity.Key Insights:1. With lifespans extending and retirement ages shifting, your 50s mark the midpoint, not the wind-down, of your professional journey. 2. India has one of the world's youngest median ages yet 150 million people over 60 (that'll be 300 million by 2050). We're unprepared for what people will actually do with extended lifespans.3. Experienced professionals offer what AI cannot - institutional memory, judgment about what NOT to do, and hard-earned shortcuts that only come from decades of practice.4. Successful post-50 professionals must structure their weeks around multiple pillars: 2 days monetizing expertise, 1 day teaching, 1 day social impact, and 3 days for learning, family, and personal growth.5. While everyone chases general management roles, the real value lies in deep specialization. Companies desperately seek true experts.6. Adaptability requires dual curiosity - understanding yourself and staying current with the changing world. The ability to continuously learn, unlearn, and relearn becomes your career insurance policy.7. Early savings, compound interest, and proper health insurance become critical foundations for later-career flexibility.Timestamps00:05:18 “we're all living longer, but doing what?”00:12:14 “big companies will struggle, new ones will define the future of work”00:17:48 “white hair made people treat me as wiser — whether I was ready or not”00:25:10 “the per-unit cost of wisdom gets cheaper with age”00:31:00 “curiosity is the fuel — without it, your runway is short”00:35:58 “this is what a happy 65-year old's life should look like”00:44:07 “ai tells you what to do, good experts tell you what NOT to do”00:47:51 “today, success is not titles — it's the joy of impact”00:50:22 “do more with your hands — mow lawns, print books, flip burgers”00:52:12 “the real dream is learning how to keep going, no matter what”00:54:00 “you are who you are when no one is looking”00:55:11 “don't worry about what others think—just own your beliefs”This episode was made possible by the great folks at https://goaffortless.ai.Effortless has been designed to be user-friendly, aiding you in your journey to streamline financial tasks. From a vandalized 4×8 roadside sign to a $17K third deal—and eventually 30+ purchases halfway through 2025—Josh Jarbo breaks down the real, unglamorous mechanics of finding, funding, and flipping in a picky-buyer, longer-DOM market. What you'll learn: From zero to proof of concept: Nine months to the first $3K wholesale check—and why that mattered more than later $50K+ wins. Marketing vs. selling: Billboards, big signs, texts (then), and why rapport at the kitchen table still closes the buy side. Margins that keep you alive: Why Josh targets $40–50K flip spreads and often wholesales anything that nets $40K+ now. When deals go sideways: A wrong-fit contractor that vaporized $30K—and the guardrails Josh uses today. Capital stacks that scale: Graduating from personal cash to private/hard money and simple rules to avoid sleepless nights. Owner-finance alchemy: Packaging multiple assets (warehouse, office, storage) with better-than-bank terms. Market snapshot (mid-2025): Under $400K still moves; plan for ~3 months on market; buyers are picky—buy right or get nicked on inspection. Going farther afield: A smooth Florida penthouse flip (4.5 hours away)—and why your first deal should be local. Who Should Listen:

We misperceive life and spirituality by fixating on tiny fleeting experiences and projecting personal meaning onto them. We build our entire self-concept and emotional world out of a narrow slice of reality that we selectively store in the mind—what we liked, disliked, feared, or attached to—while ignoring the vastness of the universe unfolding all around us. True spiritual growth lies in learning to accept, honor, and handle reality as it is, with openness and reverence. By releasing our fixation on our own mind, we can awaken into joy, love, and freedom, becoming examples of great light that can uplift the world through our presence. © Sounds True Inc.
