We had a hard time actually pinpointing who our comfort characters are. We feel like everyone has their own definition of a comfort character and we can't even agree of what a comfort character means to us. In a way, we truly think a comfort character is someone who you can relate to on a deep level or someone who you want to be. Do you have a comfort character or show?
Being an introvert can be hard in a world filled with social media and excitement everywhere you go but it also has its perks. We both consider ourselves introverts and we talk about our struggles growing up as introverts, having extroverted friends, and forcing ourselves to hang out with people long after our social battery runs out. Ashley also rants about how she doesn't like how social media and technology has made everyone feel like they are owed the time and responses from others.
Fast fashion, feeling comfortable and confident in your clothes and finally being able to afford the clothes you like are topics we discuss in this episode. Also Andrea rants about why she hates getting her picture taken in public.
Journaling can be a way to express your art or let off steam. We use it for both. In this episode we talk about the benefits of journaling and what we've been using our journals for for the past year and why you should go buy one now!
TW// Abuse. In this episode we talk about abuse that characters in various TV shows have gone through. SPOILER ALERT We talk about the TV shows Blackish, SVU, The Good Place, Manifest, Scandal and Dead To Me so if you haven't seen these shows mayhaps skip this episode if you don't wan to know about them without watching first. We also rant about the evolution of black family shows and hear why we think Tyler Perry needs to be stopped.
This episode was very late for valid reasons... we are lazy and could not think of a topic. BUT in this one, we talk about the evolution of our social media pages from stan twitter and stan intstagram to our personal pages and how our aesthetic has changed since our first posts. We also talk about the tv shows we've made accounts for and how it helped us keep busy while in middle and high school. ~ follow us on instagram @prettyextrapodcast @andreagraves_ @avgraves_
