RickFlections is a play on words combining Rick and Reflections. Think of the episodes journal entries in a Black & White composition notebook manifested in the form of a podcast. Episode will consist of Organically R'ra solo dolo and me with family, (other D.M.V. Introspective collaborators) captured in real time a mirror to life's moments revisited. Many events and stories are discussed in the moment and never spoken of again for what ever reason (short attention spans some suggest) but not here. With this audio journal, I will provide the mirror and the reminder in an unabashed and unapologetically manner with doses of empathy included (to balance it all out). We will be running it down *Excuse me N.O.P.S. in full effect mode (Talking About) our experiences, moments in time, and stories be it his, hers, mine, yours and theirs. Traveling to and from yesteryear or yesterday. An infusion of current events and personal affairs will be dissected and measured against the yard stick of public opinion and my own understanding. . What happened to the years and why does it seems like FUKKIN FORTY is the year of the mirror. Some of us learned that we will be cleaning this mirror every year thereafter. You lose a lot, but you gain in abundance grace and acceptance because Fukkin Forty is merciless and will continue to have you question your actions but humble you because you made it through....FUKKIN FORTY!

Verzuz was the backdrop and Xscape's song TSPOE and SWV's Soul Intact are the songs that best describes the intentions of the episode. Prolusion as to why this episode was delayed. I initially felt ashamed, embarrassed, and overwhelmed with my thoughts. I had to reflect to understand the true intentions of my audio journal. Autism awareness month every year reminds me of my son more intensely(I think of you everyday TBH). This day i wanted to share my thoughts instead of running away from them and the thoughts are, unedited, unrehearsed, unscripted. I could have articulated my words better I feel F.E.A.R. is back....
My son has a son, so now we bond as fathers. None of that I told you so, just an honest conversation that has been years in the making (more like weeks).
Officially Season 2, what is the direction of the podcast going forward. Time traveling back via my journal (mind catalog) the year is 1996, 25th anniversary of All Eyez on Me.
