Nicole Johnson is a Black mama, wife, attorney, entrepreneur, & proud double alumna of Howard University. For over a decade, she worked as a child & family therapist, & case manager to families experiencing homelessness. During the pandemic, she started homeschooling her preschooler while owning and managing a law firm, and managing other small family businesses. My grandmother didn't have it easy but, she paved the way for my family to have a better and easier shot at life than she did. From Brooklyn, NY to Santo Domingo, then back again, and finally to Florida. Here, she owned a dry cleaners for as long as I could remember and now she works in the clinic of a nearby elementary school.
