This is the official podcasts of Thinkerbox Games; a Third Year Games Development Team from The University of Salford located in Greater Manchester, UK. These podcasts are recorded whenever we have the time during the development of our projects and will discuss mostly anything and totally unedited.

Well; this is a long time coming but I can finally reveal the new sounding Thinkerbox Games Podcast. Now please excuse this as it is a work in progress into the Podcasting world and I hope people like it compared to the latter episodes. Also I would like to thank Pen-machine.com for their DMC Track which I have used for the Podcast theme and I would like to spread the work of their great site in this little message bar. I hope you like this format and look forward to the next episode
Hello There. It is Luke Bale; talking to you again before the Easter Break from the University. Well; this episode of the podcast discusses what will be happening with the game over Easter and how the team is doing as well. Also; there is a proposition to all the listeners of the podcast if they would like to do so. WARNING: there are a few moments in the podcast where the audio jumps for some reason; this was where my Crap Microphone was playing up but it will be refined for the next episode. Promise.
Hello People; well it's that time of the week again, another episode of the podcast has landed in your ITunes folder ready for a listen. Well this episode I talk about the BETA Preparations of the Team and where we are going to go from the current point of production. This episode is dedicated to all the CVG Students (Past and Present) who download this amateur attempt at creating a podcast. (Few Mentions; MEG, ANDY HOLT, CHRIS and STE RHODES) - Hope you enjoy :)
Hey People; tonight's offering of Audio content from Thinkerbox Games is the ALPHA special and will talk about what is happening with the game's ALPHA and what will be happening next. DISCLAIMER: This is the 4th recording of this episode as the new microphone which was given to me has been playing up again; Sorry. Also I do say err a lot in this episode for some reason and I am not sure why as I followed the script :(
Episode Nine is once again scripted and has been recorded on my day off using my new microphone (OH YEAH). This episode of the podcast is my personal summery of the project so far which I talk about how I feel the project has progressed and how I think it will end. I also talk about my personal method of Project Management and a few bits of information for next year's third years (if you are listening) and details of the next episode - the ALPHA Special. Cheers and see you in the next episode
Hello; welcome to Episode Eight of the Thinkerbox Games Podcast, now this is actually episode Seven but I counted the Bonus Episode by accident so it is now Episode Eight. This episode (which is scripted for once) talks about the current proceedings of Development, the BETA Testing and being mentioned on Gamespot UK. Thanks again Gamespot.
Hey everybody; this is a small clip recorded this afternoon just to say we are looking for BETA Testers and hoping people can e-mail me with their interest. If you are interested, please contact me at Lukeyboy101@googlemail.com with the subject (RIFT - BETA Tester)
Well; hello and how are you. Its Luke Bale from Thinkerbox Games and this is the latest episode of the Podcast. Now to dissertation issues over the Xmas period, this xmas episode was put back until we got back to uni, so sorry about that. This episode stars Myself, previous podcast contributor Andy Warburton and Mark Cooper on the way back from Uni this afternoon in the Car, I hope you enjoy this extreamly unedited podcast. WARNING: There was no script for this episode, so be prepared for some off the cuff rants about our development process
Well It's me again, Luke Bale talking about the current events of RIFT and what has been happening within the Team. We have a new Team Member in the Team as well as learning how to do a proper feasibility study and talking about the current Build. I hope you enjoy this episode and download the next one (which might be at christmas at this moment in time; but will have all Team Members participating)
If you have listened to the podcast before; most of these episodes have been by myself while I slowly ramble through the prepared script and end quickly before the audio quality shows through. So as you can tell; it is me again talking about the current status of our project and talking about some useful pieces of software that I have been using. I hope you enjoy it and look forward to the next episode where I will be joined by Lead Programmer Mark Cooper or another Member of the Team
Well today I met up with one of the programmers of the game; Andy Warburton and we had a brief convosation about our project and various points about the programming we are currently developing. So hope you enjoy this shaking mess of an audio recording and don't mind we recorded this in a hallway at the university. Cheers and hope you tune in the for the next episode.
Well this was going to be everybody from the team on this episode of the Podcast, but it is just me again so I thought that i would give a brief update on our status and what is going to happen within episode two when everybody will be here for the first time. Hope you enjoy the ramblings of this sleep deprived Project Manager and Episode Three will be up later on next week. Enjoy and see you all in the next episode.
Well this took a few minutes this morning; but the audio quality should be a bit better now anyway; but here it is. The first episode of the Thinkerbox Games Podcast cunningly titled Episode 001. This episode only has one group member in it and is only to give everybody out there in the internet a glimpse of what is to come with the group and what we are doing at this point in time. I hope you will enjoy it and wait for the next episode coming soon
