(This podcast was previously published on April 6, 2021)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Sometimes we will be on fire for spiritual things.  And sometimes we will feel dead.   When we seem to have no spark, no life, start praying and thank God for that which you do have.   And then start reading Bible and focus on any scripture that stands out to you as you read.  God has a special message for you that day in that scripture.   God will not leave us nor forsake us.  (Hebrews 13:5)   Also when you feel a little dead, just start thanking God for specific blessings HE has given you in your life, and you will begin again to feel HIS blood rush through you.  Often HE will remind you of a scripture.  Look at that scripture, for it is God speaking to you by HIS Spirit who reminds you of that scripture.   When you are troubled about anything, stop reading the Bible and start praying.   Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.   After you have settled the problem with God, and have the peace of God again, then read the Bible.

White reading Evelyn Williams' Inadmissible Evidence in the Katherine Massey Book Club, Gus was struck by her commentary on the influx of White lawyers during the so called Civil Rights Movement. Williams was suspicious of their presence and wondered if their primary objective was to bolster their White reputations by representing “militant” negroes or if they were in some way connected to the widespread COINTELPRO campaigns of subversion to undermine attempts to Produce Justice. This led Gus to find Lund-Montaño's report: Out of Order: Radical Lawyers and Social Movements in the Cold War. This work examines the history of mostly White lawyers involvements with numerous non-white people and campaigns during the 1900s. It highlights how the National Lawyer's Guild, the American Bar Association, and the field of law in general was - and remains - overwhelmingly White and insufficiently concerned with countering Racism or aiding non-white attorneys and judges. It's noteworthy that NLG switched their focus to issues of sexism/White Women in the middle of the so called Civil Rights Movement. Reynolds is eyeing to star in the adaptation and is also collaborating on the script with writers Enzo Mileti and Scott Wilson, a writing team who worked on season four of comedic crime show Fargo. Shane Reid, who edited Reynolds' Deadpool & Wolverine, will make his directorial debut with the project.

Powering spacecraft, especially out in the dark, cold outer solar system, is a huge challenge. There are limits to how large solar panels can be, and they are not very efficient in the weak sunlight beyond Mars. For decades, choice flagship NASA missions have used RTGs--radioisotope thermoelectric generators--to fill this need. From the experiments on the Apollo missions to the Viking Mars landers, Galileo to Jupiter, Cassini to Saturn, and the twin Voyagers, RTGs have provided decades of power for space exploration. From Plutonium to Americium, nuclear elements provide years and years of heat that can be converted into electricity. Dr. Rob O'Brien is the Director of the Center for Space Nuclear Research for the Universities Space Research Association and has specialized in RTGs for decades. It's a fascinating dive into atomic space batteries!
