This week on The KOKO Show we celebrated the Easter Break with a rip snorter of an episode that really rolled the stone away and allowed the lads to sink their teeth into a wonderful weekend filled with choccy eggs and fantastic friggin footy. The boys get down and dirty hunting for all the little bits and bobs from the Women's Super Rugby Champions Final that saw the Blues defeat the Waratahs, they got stuck into week 10 of the Superb Rugby as we head into the final couple of months and finally they fastened down the last three ‘Locked in Lions' on our very special whiteboard.Plus, it wouldn't be an Easter special without a guest that somewhat resembles a delicious little Lindt Ball, so we brought in Canberra's really bad bunny and one of our favourite bucking Brumbies, Mr Billy ‘found love in a hopeless place' Pollard. With Billy in tow we dissect how the Brumbies are bulldozing their way into finals contention, his desire to play a big part in the upcoming Lions Series and why James Slipper has become a bit of a bully in his twilight years. So pop on your bunny ears, fluff up that cotton tail and put yourself in a compromising yet sexy position on the kitchen table. It is time to be a raunchy little rabbit this Easter, whilst enjoying the latest episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. After a lovely Easter Break the podcast is back with some amazing guests lined up for you and lots of sober positivity. Join Louisa as she talks to Carmela about how alcohol impacted her life and what made her say enough was enough.Carmela is a real example of what a positive mindset can achieve and she is thriving and in her career in hospitality, not the easiest job to be sober in! She is about to celebrate 4 years of sobriety in July but what scared her the most was how she would black out as a drinker with no warning and still look to the outside world like she was with them. Her journey of self discovery is a really interesting and thought provoking one but this episode does come with a trigger warning as eating disorders are discussed alongside the usual topics of sobriety and alcohol.Follow Carmela on Instagram @womanonasobermission and Louisa @stepping_into_sobrietyYou'll find a range of links and resources on Louisa's brand new website www.louisaevans.com. As a sober rebel listener use code SOBERREBEL to buy one get one free on any hypnosis recordings. You can also find out how to work with her in therapy if you need support.Head to Amazon and Audible for Louisa's audiobook 'Becoming a Sober Rebel' if you would like to find out more about her pathway to sobriety and to learn the tools and techniques she teaches her clients.Thank you so much to the show sponsor Low No Drinker Magazine is the No.1 UK magazine for the sober curious drinker, bringing you news, reviews and interviews from the people, places and brands leading the low-and-no-alcohol revolution.

A new MP3 sermon from Grace City Church is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: Easter: Break Free Speaker: Matt Hand Broadcaster: Grace City Church Event: Sunday Service Date: 3/31/2024 Bible: Acts 13:26-39 Length: 35 min.
The fathers continue to speak to us about service and work and the disposition that we are to have in doing it. Our understanding must move from a functional understanding of labor; engaging in it in a way that is determined by private judgment or by the desire for worldly things. Everything that we do must be tied to our service of the providence of God. In other words, we are responding to the call of Love. The way that the Christian works and responds to the needs of others (as well as the one's own needs) is tied to our relationship with the Lord. We are given the task of being the guardian of souls; our own and others'. We are to attend to our own needs, trusting that God will provide us with what is needed. We are to serve others without making excuses for our avoidance or negligence in doing so. We are to seek first the kingdom of heaven. This is what shapes everything for us. We always return to the nest of prayer, there to be nourished upon the love and the grace of God. And it is only from that nest that we step out in response to His call to love and serve others. So often we fill our life with needless tasks; more often than not to give us a sense of security and safety. Yet to do so draws us away from He who is the Lord of love and the Governor of history; the One who provides for every one of our needs. --- Text of chat during the group: 00:10:07 Ann Thelen: hello everyone. Easter gatherings with family have a special way of putting things into perspective. As LaDonna and I exchange stories with our loved ones, we're reminded of the powerful narratives that each of us carries. France is on maximum alert in response to a shooting in Moscow. At least 137 people were killed and 150 injured when gunmen opened fire at a rock concert over the weekend. An urgent meeting of the Defense and National Security Council saw the alert implemented and 4000 additional members of the Sentinel team out and about in France. Europe Correspondent Catherine Field told Mike Hosking that the heads of the security services will meet again on Thursday to review the security and decide whether new measures should be put in place ahead of the Easter Break. Leo Varadkar has announced he is stepping down as Taoiseach and leader of Fine Gael. It comes less than a fortnight after the Government inflicted some of the heaviest defeats in the history in the state in the referendums and family and care and one day after Galway East Deputy Ciaran Cannon announced he would be the tenth member of the party not to seek re-election. Mr. Varadkar assumed the office of Taoiseach in June of 2017 and will continue to represent the Dublin West Constituency as a TD, with a new leader expected to take office after the Easter Break. In an emotional speech at Government Buildings in the past hour, he outlined the moments he's most proud of while in office, as well as the areas where he says the Government has been "less successful." His party colleague Ennistymon Fine Gael Senator Martin Conway has been speaking with me in the past few moments about the announcement. He's confident the Government will still last its full term.
