Two Cool Guys & A Podcast

We begin the episode recapping an insane Wild Card Weekend, and do picks for this weekend's Divisional Round & the College Football Championship. Then, a fantastic interview with fighter Spencer "The Freak" Deegan. Lastly, we finish up the show with our Boom or Bust & Pod Mailbag segments.

We resurface in the New Year with a recap of December sports and Black Monday for NFL coaches. Then, we give our Wild Card Weekend picks along with a little NBA talk, but get sidetracked by a way-too-personal & non-official Mount Rushmore. It can't be the first podcast of 2020 without a little decade talk, leading up to our "Person of the Decade." We close out the show with our actual Mount Rushmore of "Worst New Years Resolutions." The guys discuss the prominent story of the week with the Browns brawl on TNF, followed by more NFL talks and segments of the week: #'s, Hot Takes, Person of Interest, and a Mount Rushmore of the Worst Resturants. A packed episode w/ plenty to dive into.

The episode opens with the Nats WS win, then NFL news and more stories across sports. After, they move into the episode's segments: Boom or Bust, Block'd, and a new Pod Mailbag, along with a new Mount Rushmore.

Michael Lafon joins the podcast to talk all things Redskins with the guys, sticks around to do weekly picks and cover the rest of the NFL. Then, they get into brand new segments, followed by a Mount Rushmore of Plot Twists.

The guys begin the episode with the Washington NFL Circus & an hilarious interview with guest James Dawkins. (7:05-43:20) After, they set their Week 6 picks. (47:25-58:07) Segments include Boom or Bust (57:54-1:11:40), Hot Takes (1:11:50-1:25:25) & more.

In this episode, the guys recap MNF and the college football "shakeup." (3:52-10:15) Then, they recap every NFL game (11:05-43:01), followed by a review of last week's picks and setting new ones for Week 5 (43:17-47:06). And like any good DC sports fan, they assess the Nats' WC chances while laughing at the rest of the NL East (48:10-51:35). Eventually, they get to their segments: Boom or Bust (51:14), Person of Interest (1:02:03), and Hot Takes (1:06:40). They finish off the episode with a Mount Rushmore of Worst Things to Be Out Of (1:10:52).

The guys cover a wild Week 3 of NFL action, including talk of their respective 0-2 teams. It's not NFL talk without an Antonio Brown update, and "Why the Jets are Bad This Week." Last week's segments make their return, as does another Mount Rushmore.

The guys make their pod return with an episode packed full of NFL talk, ranging from their picks to the hot topics in the league. Then, they introduce their new segments, and go off-the-rails with a Mount Rushmore of cheaply made snack foods.

Evan and Josh do their best to "stick to sports" in this one, recapping a wild draft weekend and a productive set of selections for the Redskins.
