Welcome to Uncle Thursday Game Reviews, a video podcast dedicated to reviewing video games, and helping you--the consumer--make informed decisions on games you may be looking to try out.
First video in 1080p!This video showcases what I like and dislike about both Elgato's EyeTV 3 software and HDPVRCapture software for recording from the HD PVR series of capture devices on Mac OS X. These programs are not necessary on Windows. This video shows my personal opinions on the software necessary to record gameplay footage on Mac OS X for video reviews, commentary or let's play videos.Personally, I much prefer EyeTV, but it will NOT work with HD PVR 2 devices that use HDMI inputs... so OS X users are stuck with the much worse HDPVRCapture software.YMMV. If you love HDPVRCapture, fine. I don't... and I don't need to hear any crap about why you feel I am wrong in hating the software.
The Bearded Wonder (me) gives his impressions on the new Killer Instinct game for the Xbox One after playing the GameCom build at the Xbox One Road Tour Area Event. In the fights shown, I am player 2, so on the right. I only talk for a little over 3 minutes, the rest is just footage of the matches. Stick around to the end for an Ultraaaaaa Comboooo!
